Guest
The seaon's upon us, it's that time of yeah. I've always been a fan of the Murphy's and this is one of favourite Christmas tunes: I'm also a big, big fan of Tim Minchin. For those not familiar he's a hilarious comedian, an accomplished piano player and an incredibly intelligent man, primarily known for scathing but humorous takes on religion. This is a link to an example of how blunt he can be on the subject, but only watch if you aren't the easily offended type. However, White Wine In The Sun is neither scathing or offensive. As an atheist, bothered by waste and commercial excess who still loves Christmas this song really sums up my feelings about the holiday and love of time spent with family. Guest
So just discovered this band and their new song which has been exploding my balls the last couple of days: Incredible, thanks! That amazing, big sound reminded me of something produced by the guys from Trans Siberian Orchestra and/or Savatage. Turns out there is no overlap. WestCoastRunner
I'm a little late posting here on Bowie. He has produced such fabulous music but my favourite album would have to be Ziggy Stardust. I was lucky enough to see him live in Vancouver. Annie Lennox opened for him. I brought my daughter with me. Bowie gained a new fan that day. Enjoy the programs on much music! RIP Bowie. Quote I love to see a young girl go out and grab the world by the lapels. Life's a bitch.
