no, you said that he would overthrow the government and become a dictator and that would be the end of Elections You absolutely did not say he would find a legal way to run again and exercise it Here, let me fix that for you. WE TOLD YOU THAT SOMETHING ENTIRELY DIFFERENT WOULD HAPPEN BUT THAT IS KIND OF SORT OF LIKE THIS SO WE"RE STILL REALLY PISSED AND INTEND TO PRETEND WE PREDICTED IT!!!!!! LOL! So it sounds like his plan is to run as vice president, which he can i guess and then have vance run for pres and if they win vance will step down, trump automatically becomes president and gets another term. Presumably he'd appoint vance as his vice as a 'reward' I certainly haven't dug into the law but it does sound plausible and legal. It would depend on the precise wording of the law (does it say he can't RUN or can't SERVE?) But the American people would still have to vote for that knowing that that's what was going to happen. It would still be a democratic process. So.... the dems had better smarten up and put forward a non woke strong candidate with wide appeal and talent who's not actually senile. See? The system is working

The Vances go to Greenland

You know they've been getting by for hundreds of years now right? -
Interpretation is ALWAYS open to further discussion. Facts DO NOT point to the same conclusions for everyone, and in fact the most common interpretation of the facts in science have very often proven to be wrong later. Newton was WAY off base but we believed his stuff for years. So it is 100 percent reasonable that two people would say "I interpret it this way" and another would say "i interpret it that way" and for those parties to discuss and debate and 'negotiate' on what they both can agree on and what actions would be wise to take that make sense in both scenarios. It displays your complete lack of understanding of science that you think that somehow a conclusion is absolute

Well i've been pretty clear that this is my expectation and polls tend to lag behind real events by about 3-4 days most of the time, But at this point it would seem like we're just seeing the 'buzz' of the margin of error. Most of these polls are around 2 - 3 percent up or down margin of error. so we could very well see 40 vs 42 one day and see 38 vs 44 the next and really nothing at all changed. So there's always a certain 'noise' from the margin of error. My belief is we'll see a slight overall dropping trend this week, where the cpc and libs wind up more or less equal, and it'll bounce around there pretty stable (maybe a slight softening for the libs), and then the debates. And the debates are where we'll see the next big change. Either the libs will start to go down for real at that point and nosedive into the dirt by election day, OR they will firm up their gains and the CPC will dip slightly and the libs will get a small majority. The one big variable here that we're not used to is the woke and the quebec nationals. The woke traditionally have kept the NDP going, and while in the past the libs have occasionally been able to scoff some of the ndp vote when needed to stop the conservatives, its' never been anything remotely close to this. The ndp may be wiped out. And hte the bloc isn't in much better shape, if the polls are to be believed a lot of their voters went over to the libs right now as well. So if either of those two groups decides to 'go home' to their respective parties then the libs collapse. If their supporters stay strongly behind the libs for this election then it will be almost impossible to beat. In such a case the best we could hope for is to hold them to a minority, let carney eff up (because he will) and let people be focused on the fact they have no food or housing again, let the bloc and dips elect new leaders and try to gain back their supporters and then try again in 18 months.

But the ewocks would. The ewocks will always love you.

Yep. well certainly not the people who claim to care about the climate. They've done everything they can to avoid the truth to cover up the fact they radically increased pollution. And claimed they could tax it away 😮 Conservatives just tend to do the right thing without making a fuss or freaking out about it IF it makes sense to do it Liberals promise to do the right thing, then do the wrong thing and try to sell that. Now everyone sees what a lie it is and the left is so mad they're even burning electric cars

Sure! Lies are funny I mean it's not as funny as the liberal who suggested having the conservative killed for money this week but still...

New CPC Strategy Idea: Stop Pandering to Quebec
CdnFox replied to WestCanMan's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
I think jag meet Singh would be better served with that info the conservatives are still pretty much where they were when the election started and all of last summer, low to mid 40s. Some polls have jag meat at 6 Although it's far from over, it's possible to conservatives might lose this election. But they won't lose by that much and it won't be hard to rebuild and try again, probably it'll be a minority that will lead to an election within 18 months But the NDP stands to be completely wiped out. No money, no leader, no seats, no say, they will basically have become the green party and Canada will basically become a two horse race. Building back for the NDP will be almost impossible. So I don't know what you're smirking about, my party may face a minor setback with yours will probably be wiped off the face of the earth and your voice will be gone from canadian politics -
really hate to tell YOU so but carney isn't really getting rid of the tax, just the consumer part, and he didn't do it correcty he just did it as a political stunt. So of course it's not going to have the impact we wanted to see. You can ALWAYS trust the liberals to even screw up something like NOT taxing the bejeezuz out of people

Decades ago we WERE in power and things WERE prosperous. No need to say it IT's just this last lost decade where things got really bad.
-
No, if i thought that was true i'd be much happier. They'll rule the same way they have for the last 10 years. Theyll just try to hide things better. And canada's economy will continue to tank investment will continue to flee, populations will grow faster than capacity and basically we'll become a third world nation while the liberals funnel our money to third party 'consultants' and other businesses for eventual paybacks after they retire, All of which you'll applaud loudly and then claim could have been solved with body cams.

Naaah. We just need to throw loser lefties out and then we'll be back to good health and prosperity

Nope, Most from lack of access to cancer treatment, lack of access to emerg rooms, lack of diagnostisc, all that good stuff. The rest like those waiting for hips simply die having spent their last years in utter agony instead. So that's better. Of course the facts are in the source i provide. Far more people in Canada die waiting for care than in the us. Many don't get the care they need despite having 'free access'. Your chances are better in the states. You might go broke but you'll stay alive.

Of course. Lies are all they have.
