Thank you Nick Shirley! Doing the job that the MSM won't do, as most of them are in the pockets of the Democrats. The massive fool Gavin Newsom, instead of thanking Shirley for helping expose these frauds, posted a meme of Shirley as a pedophile, and Shirley quickly responded, shaming the fool Newsom and making him look even dumber than he already is: https://www.yahoo.com/news/articles/nick-shirley-viral-retort-gavin-200038740.html2 points

Actually I'm impressed, your actually posted something, its full of sh!t but at least your using the key board... She did not insult all Canadians just the ones that voted for any party on the left, and had they been the most educated of the Canadian people they would have seen the errors of their ways....Justin Running the country into the ground and those mor0n liberal voters gave him the power 3 times in a row, that does not make them smarter it makes them idio!s...So excuse all of us if we don't trust anyone that voted for the left side, to make any smart decision.....2 points

"Trust the science" ๐ Most of which are done with a goal in mind, or funded by groups whose desired outcome is well-known. And they can even get several studies done if they want, and only publish the results that they like. Studies are no more than dishonest talking points most of the time. Or to quote Carney: "The world is more divided than ever." If you think Canadians are somehow better, look at our leftist losers in this thread: And this is the "anti-gun" crowd... "We are against guns, but this guy was just going to the WH to kill people, so it's ok." Probably 50% of LPoC voters are ok with the idea of an assassination.2 points

There are a lot of things that young people look forward to, thinking it will make them happy, eg "I'll feel better when I _________", and a lot of times "_______" is a really bad decision. Eg, get some weed, get drunk, have sex with that guy/girl that my parents hate, drop out of school, play video games for 16 hrs straight, beat up that kid, do parkour in that abandoned building, get a tattoo on my neck, etc, and then they regret it. As long as those mistakes aren't fatal, most of them can be undone. But rendering yourself infertile can never be undone, and it cuts to the core of "life as a mammal". As such, it's not a decision that a child should make, especially based on the lies of left4rd cultists who are pretending to help them, with no input from their parents. People who tell children that "men can get pregnant" should be thrown in prison with the r4pists and murderers.2 points

Isn't allowed to have partisan politics in China. So you're saying if we want to stop assassination attempts against Trump we just kill or jail all the liberals who don't tow the party line? Of course right after the attempt failed a bunch of liberals flooded social media upset that it didn't succeed. This is the fault of the left completely. There was a interview with a Democrat politician where he was asked if maybe rhetoric is the reason and his answer was that we don't use rhetoric we just oppose his policies and his AUTHORITARIANISM. Its like saying I don't hate him him but hes an evil pedo.2 points

yup this clown is yet another indoctrinated radicalized Democrat scumbag. What else is new. The mystery of the WHCD shooter, Cole Allen, has completely unraveled. There are no doubts left. According to reports from the Secret Service and Montgomery County Police, after interviewing his sister: โข His manifesto directly targeted officials from the Trump administration. โข His social media was saturated with anti-Trump and anti-Christian hate. โข His own brother alerted police in Connecticut after Allen sent the manifesto to the family before the attack. โข He trained regularly at a shooting range, was a member of the political group โThe Wide Awakes,โ and attended the โNo Kingsโ protest in California. โข He had a history of radical statements and constantly repeated that he was going to โdo somethingโ to โfixโ the world. โข He bought two pistols and a shotgun, and hid them in the family home without his parents knowing. This was no lone madman or a spur-of-the-moment act. It was a man who wrote a manifesto, armed himself, trained, radicalized himself in a political group, participated in protests, and crossed the country to execute his ideology with bullets. A full-fledged political terrorist.2 points

So much for 'life saving' gender affirming care | National Post Now you never want to look at just one study, even one that's fairly comprehensive as this is. But as noted it's one of the only ones with any length of time and decent sample size. So it's the best indication we've had so far of the effects. And so far the indication is that if anything people's mental health deteriorates somewhat and that this 'care' isn't very useful. To me, this is especially a red flag for kids. Many people here and elsewhere have suggested that if you don't want to allow transgender surgery for children you must hate children and want them dead. ( @CrakHoBarbie ) But this indicates that those of us who had serious concerns about transition for youth were correct and it probably does more harm than good.1 point

Using GIC's as an example, they are general well run. What is critical to their success is their independence from government oversight. They make investment decisions based purely on the merits of the business case. So there is no government manipulation or political ideologies mucking things up. Carney has made it clear that this is not THAT. It will likely reduce competition, since the government will be stacking the deck against those who are not the chosen ones. It's basically the government saying, If you want this approved, give us your profits. So the investors (and Canadians who invest) take all the risks and the government takes the profits from the risk-taking. That sucking sound is the government sucking up pension funds, savings and profits and directing them into a "sovereign investment fund" of government approved projects that will never turn a profit.1 point

Exactly. We're borrowing or printing the $25 billion for it. It's not a Sovereign Wealth Fund. It's a Sovereign Debt Fund. I have a Sovereign Wealth Fund, too. It's called Visa. If I had bottomless contempt for the intelligence level of the average Canadian, I would promise them a high-speed train and a sovereign wealth fund. Actually, I think that was an episode on The Simpsons, wasn't it?1 point

You're one of the rare posters who have figured out my angle on this stuff. It's the public sphere. How do we deal with controversial, strange, impactful, expensive, or generally politically divisive issues? If we don't do that honestly and giving the other side a bit of the benefit of the doubt, we're hurting ourselves.1 point

Nope. Which is why you couldn't come up with any .Shootings where somebody just goes out and starts shooting people, which is what most people think of when they're talking about mass shootings, are called 'rampage' shootings and represent only about 2% of the national databases mass shooting numbers Here's some actual research Comparison of rampage and non-rampage mass shootings in the U.S.: A 5-year demographic analysis - ScienceDirect And mass shootings only represent something like one percent of shooting deaths. So obviously people on guns for more than one reason, and seeing as yours is broken down by specific reason it's reasonable to assume that most of the rest are primarily for entertainment instead of hunting. I have no doubt that many people who own guns either for hunting or for entertainment also would say that they would use them for home defense should they need arise but that's not why they bought them. And? It's not even so much that I disagree with you, I mean obviously in Canada we have say storage laws and I generally approve of that. But the problem is that you're getting to this conclusion through just honesty. You haven't demonstrated that there is any such need, you've been slightly dishonest about the facts and figures that you've given to say that there's a problem, nor have you offered any indication as to how any changes would actually impact the bottom line. And the problem that gun owners in the states legitimately have is that they watch things like that and they think you've got motives that aren't being driven by logic or reason but rather by ideology. And they're not interested in your ideology. I wouldn't be either That's not actually irony. I believe that people should have the right to drive a car with the proper training and licensing, that doesn't mean that if I get run over tomorrow it's irony. People accept that with freedoms, certain level of risk. We could catch more bad guys if Cops were allowed to search us or listen to our conversations or walk into our house at any time without warrant. But there's problems with that. Freedom it means that there is a certain level of risk. They would be less car accidents if nobody was allowed to own a car and everybody was forced to take public transportation. But is that a world you want to live in. What comes next? Safe storage laws tend to prevent accidents, they don't actually do much for Crime. I still think they're worth it for that and don't see why guns shouldn't be locked up if they're not in use or in your possession. If you want to carry one for self-defense put it on your belt where you can get at it and deny it to others in a proper holster. But everybody knows that people like you and the democrats will never be satisfied with reasonable laws. You're not coming at this from a point of view of being fair and reasonable you just don't like guns. So why on earth would republicans in the states listen to democrats or come to the table to discuss these so-called reasonable regulations knowing damn well that they're just one step closer to losing their firearms?1 point

Not many countries have SWFunds. China, Saudi Arabia, Norway, Quatar, Kuwait are a few of them. Their SWFunds generally do NOT invest in their own countries. That's the norm. One company all of the above SWFunds all invest in: Brookfield. Carney says a Canadian SWFund would invest in Canada. I suspect your taxpayer dollars will be going to......Brookfield. And China. Liberals, including under Carney's "advisement" have a really, really bad track record of investing with taxpayer money. They've lost billions of dollars in the last decade. I wouldn't trust them to invest in a lemonade stand. But I think all the pom-pom wavers should invest every last penny they have in it.1 point

She should be used to "hateful and violent rhetoric is intended to divide our country" because Donald does that all the time. Thanks for you uneducated, thoughtless and emotional input. If you had any actual facts or relevant data to your point, maybe it would count for something. Spring economic update comes out next week. Real fiscal responsibility isnโt complicated. Itโs what every sound-money, small-government era in history has proven works: Stop the "citizens-last" insanity. End the flow of billions in CCB and benefits to temporary residents and non-citizens while legacy Canadians wait in ERs. Unleash Canadian energy instead of suppressing it. Approve pipelines on day one, kill the industrial carbon tax, and use our resources as leverage instead of calling our biggest customer โweak.โ Balance the operating budget with actual cuts, not slower deficit growth. Slash foreign aid, NGO grants, and the bureaucratic bloat that now costs more in debt interest than entire provincial budgets. Prioritize the people who built the country: Lower taxes, reduce regulation, let markets set prices instead of central planners. The Carney Liberals will never do any of this, because their entire project depends on big government, endless spending, and blaming everyone else for the failures. The Spring Economic Update on Tuesday will be more of the same: pretty charts, big words, and zero accountability. This isnโt leadership. And the only way we get it is by refusing to swallow the narrative that inflation, debt, and stagnation are someone elseโs fault. Theyโre Liberal policy choices โ and history is littered with the corpses of exactly where those choices lead.1 point

Letโs recap. At a time when the west should be united like never before against the Russia-China axis, Trump has: 1) severely damaged the economies of US and its allies with his unnecessary and foolish trade wars which NOBODY supports,, driving up the costs of necessities including industrial inputs needed for defence 2) further politically divided the alliance by threatening annexation of Canada and Greenlan, providing comfort to subversive pro-Putin factions in Europe and pro-separatist factions in Alberta, many of whom use the economic damage inflicted by Trump to propagandize against their own government, and now threatening new tariffs or even kicking countries out of NATO(which isnโt a thing) if they donโt join his unnecessary and disastrous war of choice against Iran 3) AIDED Russia by driving up the price of oil providing them a vital lifeline all while he REDUCED US oil sanctions against Russia to alleviate the global oil shortage crisis that TRUMP caused 4) Massively depleted scarce stocks of vital US munitions at a reckless pace for his unnecessary war choice vanity project.1 point

Don't forget the blue terrorism like Killing Charlie Kirk, trying to assassinate Trump, riots in major public cities, trying to kill ICE agents or dox them and terrorize their families, trying to kill prominent conservative figures like Benny Johnson and Dan Bongino and so on. The left in this country is attempting to take over with violence and intimidation. Those actions have to be met with overwhelming force. Americans will not be subdued to left wing extremism.1 point

At least mine works Yup. Which is why their cfo and carney are talking even tho they werent' supposed to. LOLOL Well you just displayed the depth of your ignorance there kiddo Clinton is estimated to make about 30 million a year just from the Clinton foundatoin alone. I used to work for a charity and god paid nicely. Nobody works for free at that level, they all get paid. And the board of directors is an easy way to repay someone who's done 'favours', they don't have to do anything but you get to advertise they're on your board and you can pay them and it's not a 'bribe'. This has gone on for many many decades. Trudeau is making money from his charity again same as he did before Here ya go: Do Executives of Charities get paid? - Google Search And in fact the old 'mockudrama' Yes Prime Minister made note of it frequently and that's in the 90s Kid, it's a well known fact and i just provided proof that people in charities get paid and get paid a lot, There's an old joke, there's a tonne of money in poor people. He was still on 2 dozen even when he was running for prime minister and lied about stepping down from all of them Carney says he resigned from 'all' his roles. Turns out he hasn't | National Post and he has been on many more since leaving the boe Do you ever tire of being wrong? Of course you'll demand i post the same link in an hour LOL except that it's true, and unlike you i do provide links and facts to back up what i say. Your post was just your usual denials and name calling when you know you're wrong and losing. Carney still has massive investments in brookfield and their subs and lots of stock options too, and is already doing things that will benefit them. Charities pay their execs LOTS of money, and if he was on 24 boards at a time before after being with the boe he'll be on 50 or more after being prime ministeer and he'll get a couple hundred grand from each. Carney is funnelling tonnes of money into "Charaties" such as diversity in rice farming in vietnam where there is no real accountability as to how the money is spent and the execs get paid. They will pay him back when he leaves1 point
