Because they hate themselves. You would too if you wasted your life on university courses that only qualified you for a job as a barista, or to work behind a dumpster as a CrakHo, and you were still single and living in your mom's basement. Everyone wants to feel important, and since leftists are people who have never accomplished anything worthwhile, or contributed to their community in any meaningful way, their only source of self-esteem is pretending that their morality is on a higher level. There's no quicker access to a leg up in the nobility department than: "You're only successful because you're a racist! So I'm a better person that you."2 points

Any point. Even now, ICE is not out of control. There are thousand of agents across the country daily doing their jobs and you don’t even notice. The issues are caused by the radical leftists you support unlawfully trying to interfere.2 points

the firing of Noem is meaningless at any rate. As long as you have the most immature Whitehouse Administration ever running the show the slow Train wreck will continue until the mid terms. Hopefully the world will not be turned into a glass parking lot in the middle east while a 12 year old department of war plays call of duty. Shrug. They voted for it.2 points

^FALSE equivalence FALLACIES. US was COMPLICIT and ENABLED Gaza deaths and we had nothing to do with protesters in Iran, except that OUR SANCTIONS were a big part of their suffering. Got a clue for you: Gaza deaths were way out of proportion to the deaths of 1200 Israelis, and as I told you before, Netanyahu was just as much at FAULT due to FAILING to DEFEND that border even though they KNEW about HAMA's plans and paid for them. I swear talking to you is like talking to a BRICK.2 points

Big celebration and fire play all over Iran. A large crowd all over Iran in spite of danger to their lives poured onto streets, playing loud music, dancing mixed and shouting long live Reza Pahlavi. BIG BIG CELEBRATIONS.1 point

It doesn't, actually. Again, go look at the video with the angles synced. Plain as the daylight between body and car, he didn't get hit.1 point

Nah, none of them have balls. Seriously, that lapdog sycophancy was a HUGE part of the selection process. Trump HATED it his first terms when he appointed some competent people who then responsibly resisted or blocked his whims. And who, after they left, told public how useless he is.1 point

He is literally getting hit in that picture. Why are you denying the obvious?1 point

Hey jerk-off. Why dont you make a case for this one way or the other? I'm curious too. I've seen Libbies say things like "white privilege" and I've seen Libbies literally apologize for being white. So have you. So why? What is it that makes you silly fops think white people are so bad? And Sally...please try to keep your response within a relevant time frame. This century would be fine.1 point

Gas prices are still $2.00/gallon lower while Trump is attacking Iran than they were when Biden was attacking America This war with Iran was never going to be easy, but it was always going to happen at some point. Just be thankful that "not easy" at this point means "6 US soldiers dead and gas prices up by $1/gal in exchange for: the ayatollah dead two replacement ayatollahs dead the vast majority of the top mullahs dead the vast majority of the top military leaders dead the vast majority of the top political leaders dead their navy sunk their radar and anti-air capabilities destroyed their ballistic missiles depleted and destroyed their drone fleet being dismantled IRGC bases and checkpoints being obliterated everywhere etc, etc, etc" All of that, and the civilian casualties are at an unbelievable low. Persian people are still alive and their violent oppressors are dying in droves. John: this is war. If the US lost 6 soldiers in exchange for just 6 fighter planes and nothing else that would be an extremely successful trade-off by the standards of every war in the history of the world prior to this. But it's 6 US soldiers vs 18 ships, 3 ayatollahs, hundreds of planes, hundreds of ICBM'S/BM's, dozens of generals and other high-ranking officers, dozens of mullahs, all of Iran's air-defence systems, etc. This is a f'ing SMOKESHOW of BIBLICAL PROPORTIONS. To this point, it's like if Mike Tyson fought an 11-yr-old. That's exactly how close it is. Judges aren't scoring this one 30-27, or 30-24, it's 30-0.001. As a side note, 2 of China's favourite sources for oil are no longer favourites of theirs. Is America winning right now, John?1 point
-
Hm... Is that how it went in Venezuela? Did he hand the government over to the opposition party that actually won the last election? Or did he keep the same corrupt government in place and squeeze them for oil? Trump did something that benefitted you. Don't confuse that with thinking that Trump did it to benefit you. He acts out of self interest. He will happily leave some version of the current government in place if he feels he can benefit from it. He simply wants to be involved in picking the next leader so that he can extract concessions and $ from them.1 point

It is fake. When democrats get people to rebuke Trump they always use round numbers.1 point

Can't talk sense into someone incapable of understanding.... Yes, we've been dealing with forever, they've been investing in our country forever, and both will continue to. Trade with a population of over 3B people brings the opportunity for economic stability in agriculture, energy, tech, etc.... and you have a moral epiphany now because it's a liberal gov. As you sit on your high moral pedestal it's convenient you don't question your American idol Trump's morals...why not?1 point
-
Why would I care what you question Carney about. Try talking in facts though... It's her opinion....nothing more nothing less. Bottom line is that we've been dealing with both forever and will continue to, such as we've traded with the US forever and will continue to. Why aren't you happy considering the Prairie conservative premiers and farmers very much welcome the agreements and economic benefits?1 point

Washinton Post: Russia is providing Iran intelligence to target U.S. forces, officials say The Guardian: Ukraine to help US and its allies counter Iranian drones in Middle East, says Zelenskyy And I bet Trump will find new excuses for Putin and still blame Zelensky for the war in Ukraine. If the US had a normal Administration in power, Russia helping Iran at this point would be a HUGE deal. And Nato countries are being sucked into this war... Stay Tuned!1 point

Hilarious. They fired an incompetent wanna be Barbie Doll who had no experience in the job whatsoever, to hire a plumber that cannot even string a sentence together to run DHS. Because tRump liked him on Tv? You can't make this shit up.1 point

I have. It takes about 2 seconds of thinking. -- Opposing the means to an end does not mean opposing the end. Done. Again, Gato meet Gato. You'll apparently be surprised by your differences in opinion: "It baffles me how much you want to defend people that are intentionally killing thousands of Americans. Why? You also defend illegal aliens that have killed, raped and stole from americans. Why?" This is what YOU said about opposition to ICE tactics and "war crimes" on the high seas. Yet in both cases no one anywhere, least of all me, said anything to defend any of those people. I simply think the government should have standards of conduct that respect principles of justice.1 point

I won't ever feel bad for being right. You did not even provide a single fact or opinion to oppose what I said. All you have proposed is belittlement and name calling. Still going with the calling me names to prove you don't call me names when you've lost I see. Good talk Russ.1 point

Yeah, I said I voted for Trudeau in 2015. After that...no. Other than that.... your typical partisan and rambling view of the world isn't even worth a response.1 point
-
He said 'our old relationship is over'. How and why could/would you possibly think that we're not going to trade with our neighbor and easily largest trading partner who happens to be the world's largest economy. Another patently false comment.... We were just in Texas for the event put on for the F35 delivery and he's clearly said we are allies and have shared security responsibilities. I do believe he also said yesterday that the US is an ally and in the hypothetical asked....we would put boots on the ground with and for that ally. Believe it or not I'm not I'm not sitting here defending the guy, but good god.... try thinking and speaking with facts, not your false perception of them.1 point
-
Yes...the MK 46 is/was the most widely produced torpedo in the west/world (about 25,000 produced so far)...many allied nations use them for anti-submarine warfare. Even Iran has some of them. Very capable as a lightweight torpedo and can be launched from many sea and air platforms. Once it locks on and enters terminal homing, the game is over.1 point

While I agree there should be some overlap in medical professionals going between countries, I think they should have to go through some kind of equivalency testing. Not all countries have the same medical standards we do. And given India's penchant for faking degrees, and the Muslim doctors in the US who were performing FGM in Minnesota....yes. Credentials should be thoroughly checked. Sask. doctor acquitted of sexual assault charges can still be sued in civil claim, judge rules Regina surgeon faces seven charges of unprofessional conduct | Regina Leader Post We wouldn't have such a shortage of doctors if the coronamaniacs hadn't fired all the doctors and nurses and EMTs who wouldn't get the jabs because the majority of them had natural immunity from having gotten covid after working through the pandemic before the jabs were available. Maybe we should hire some of them back.1 point
-
I'm sure in your little bent right mind he said it, but facts and reality say otherwise. You're very perceptive though in understanding the current relationship has changed and will look different in the future.... no kidding.1 point
-
We had the Mk 46's on the ship I was on. Nasty little guys that could go down and hunt subs autonomously. I don't know anything about those other ones you mentioned. I hear ya about the sunken ships. If I was in a naval battle of course I would go all out to kill or be killed, but I also find that as a fellow sailor, I empathize with the people whose Russian and Iranian ships were sunk lately. "There, but for the grace of God, go my shipmates and I." Oh yeah, and the idea of being on a sub that got sunk? Super-terrifying. Arguably one of the very worst ways to do. I would wanna be right there where the explosion happened, not trapped.1 point

Ahhh...so tell me, oh sopping wet one, what laws do you think ICE agents have broken?1 point

Because of an ad campaign? Well you got rid of Noem. Now you deal with Sen. Markwayne Mullin. He might not be cute and make ads for TV, but he might be even more determined to get deportations executed.1 point
-
Yeah, that's good for them. Us buying their goods benefits them. In exchange they tariffed our stuff so we couldn't sell them as much as we did in the past. That kind of proves @Army Guy's point, we benefit them and they stab us in the back and this is FAR from the first time. THey are unstable and unreliable and if we let them have power over us they will use it to force both trade AND policy decisions on us.1 point
-
My 2 cents.... Carney is spot on in saying 'we accept the world for what it is, not how we wish it to be'. So while I agree that China's human rights record leaves a lot to be desired we're also not in a position to forsake 130B in trade because of our high moral standards. Ask any business owner or the people employed at those businesses if they would forgo their equity and livelihoods so they could feel better about their moral decisions. Not likely at all.... Your affection for Trump and anything to the right skews the understanding of what he's done and wants to continue doing to many Canadian's livelihoods and our economy. We'll be just fine with the US when all is said and done but we also need to better diversify our trading relationships so we're better positioned for the next US president that tries to break our economy.1 point

DST is being blamed for cracked concrete, unwanted hair growth on palms of the hands, rising price of Hawkins Cheezies, and cloudy days. To listen to the hand wringing wankers moaning and b!tching is a perverse kind of entertainment. The sky is falling, the sky is falling . . .1 point
