All adult passengers (18 years and older) flying within the United States are required to present an acceptable form of photo ID at the airport security checkpoint. I have a lot of sympathy for the trans. They have a mental health issue that needs to be addressed. They have been led to believe that if they cos play as the opposite sex that they will get better. That rarely, if ever, works. Mental health is a big problem. I don't know if Trump's insane asylums are the right move. Probably not. There needs to be a full program that starts with removing the stigma of mental health and encouraging treatment.

In this case there do seem to be delays certifying a few planes which could be speeded up in a way that does not endanger safety. But no, Trump had to threaten Canada publicly again in a way that, if carried through, would impact both civilian travel and the military in the US because he so enjoys doing that.
