  4. Look, as unfortunate as the Palestinian people are for their own plight, they did this to themselves. Their children suffer because their parents did not stand up to Hamas. Arab Israeli peace is happening everywhere except Gaza and Iran. The Abraham accord shown that peace between Arab and Israel is possible. So it was never about the Palestinian, it was about hating Jews, peace is possible when you’re not threatening to kill the Jews. There is no moral high ground to claim when you support the Palestinian people without condemning HAMAS and their anti-Semitic tendency.

  9. We don’t charge a 400% tariff on anything but maybe we should take the lying scumbag at his word and and start charging a 200% tariff on all dairy products instead of just those that exceed the quota’s he negotiated under USMCA. If he can break trade agreements, so can we.

  11. This has been on his radar since the last time he renegotiated the free trade deal. In fact as you'll recall we gave up some ground on supply management back then and allowed more American products into the country. He just wants it gone, and his theory is if the Americans know they are allowed to import as much as they want they will flood the market and we will only buy American Products because they're cheaper. And they are cheaper because the American government subsidizes them. Why the supply management farmers absolutely want this off the table. If the restrictions are removed then America will re-gear itself towards flooding our market which they don't currently. This is the very reason we have supply management. One of its primary purposes was always to guarantee that our industry survived in the face of American subsidized farm output.

  13. No, you have to think the democrat cult is saying shit about American patriots because you also are a left-wing psychopath, and you're saying it too. Tell me, LinkMissing60, what would you do without me shedding light on your constant bullshit? Are you addicted to being corrected?

  14. So... your position is that we need to rebuild the Ottoman Empire? And? As I pointed out in another discussion, so what? Israel is not going to give back the Golan Heights, which is a strategic high point in the region, when the surrounding world wants to destroy them. If you are so concerned about this, then put the pressure on the surrounding countries to want peace more than seeing the obliteration of Israel.

  17. OR PROPOSED A CHANGE!!! This is the thing that's REALLY starting to honk me off, it's been said 1 million times that this is the law, always has been, and now they're enforcing the law and they're doing so in a lawful manner, so if you don't like this then you have to explain WHAT YOU WOULD CHANGE IN THE LAW!!!! And also make a case as to why that would be better. And yet.... silence. Not a word as to proposed changes. Not a peep as to what the law or practice SHOULD be to be 'better'. No examples of a path to citizenship, or a deportation process that's more fair for everyone without tying up the courts forever, or anything. Just "orange man bad" and "fascist". It's impossible to take these people seriously. I look at what's happening in the states and i can say to myself "Seems a little harsh even if it is legal to punt people that fast without letting them get their affairs in order", but that's MEANINGLESS unless someone proposes an alternative that addresses those concerns AND STILL lives up to trump's plan to deport unlawful residents. At this point it's just complaining for the sake of complaining

  20. Voters are desperate for change which is why they can vote for a right-wing populist in one election and a left-wing candidate in the next. What they didn’t want was the status quo offered by the Democratic establishment - a disgraced, elderly politician backed by millions of dollars, much from right-wing sources. Mamdani sounded fairly out there on some proposals but he ran an energetic campaign, hardly surprising given the fact that he was literally half the age of his opponent. The Dems should have two priorities - to sweep away the gerontocracy and start listening to voters. https://www.theguardian.com/news/ng-interactive/2025/jun/29/does-zohran-mamdani-new-york-primary-victory-offer-roadmap-for-democrats

  21. Sorry, are you talking to the loser who just got elected and is suggesting taxing white people more? It was his idea, I never brought it up other than to quote him Not all minorities are poor. And he specifically brought up white neighborhoods, not rich neighborhoods but white neighborhoods. It is 100% racist. Yes, but by god you have to admire his consistency.

  23. The really stupid part of all this is that you support gun control here... Also, ordinary people can in fact stand up to Hamas if they really wanted to. Amazing how you don't have any insurgents or guerrilla warfare... if a population really wanted to fight back against their oppressive rulers, there are ways. I mean, it is almost like when they do polling Hamas has a strong plurality of support and when they are attacking Israel they have even more.
    1 point
  24. Polls suggested that people supported Hamas. The simple fact of the matter is right now if they wanted to get rid of Hamas they could do it, they would just have to talk to the Israelis and agree to let them in to seize the known as Hamas members. And at the end of the day they're still getting blown up and killed so realistically they would have been better off putting up more of a fight to begin with They were complacent, they've been supportive of all of the attacks which have happened over the years, they voted them in the first place, and now they're paying the price. I guess the lesson is maybe you're better off to try and take the guns yourself and get rid of the problem people rather than face a war where all of your friends and family are going to be dead and your homes are going to be rubble

  27. Awwww.... did you look bad on the internet again so now your wittel fewwings are hurt? LOL, every single time you wind up looking stupid you're like this. It's a weird theme we have around here, every leftie has their weird or childish behavior that's their way of saying "Crap i lost and my butt is so hurt imma gonna do THIS stupid thing". Sorry you feel stupid kid. I'd have though you might be getting used to it by now So once again, the magazine has nothing to do with the gun. It would be like claiming the gun is 'Military" based on what type of bullet you loaded into it. And no. You were entirely wrong on ammo capacity, as i've mentioned. I don't know the model of your gun but i bet there's extended capacity mags available for it. Soooo... wrong. and thus butthurt. Magazine capacity has nothing to do with it. Did you want to have another guess, Alleged fellow gun owner? LOLOL calling it military based on the size of the magazine currently inserted certainly doesn't.

  31. The procurement process belongs to a completely other government department....the military is not allowed to tell them exactly what they want, the military draws up spec sheets, of what they want...a civilian in PWSG then puts tenders out to industry and then PWSG then tells them to send the equipment or prototypes to x location for the military to test....Military sends those results back to government, politicians will then pick out what is best, what counts most is not what the military wants, but what offsets is the company willing to make, will it be produced in Canada, how much Canadian content will it have, how many canadians will it employ, So want to know why it takes so long to get something into military service, as the government....military has no control over any of the process, except testing and spec sheets... yes they are still voters, that make up less voters than say the LGBTQ , indigenous communities, the list goes on.... the majority of the military are conservative voters, and yet they have been burned badly by both parties...The majority of Canadians agree our present military status sucks...but this is not enough to put it on a major election platform.... Warned by the military, the last CDS talked to the media on a constant basis, telling them we are not ready to defend this nation, that most of our equipment is broken and lacks spare parts....take a look at the current NAVY admiral and his famous discussion with the media....we have a critical personal shortage, not counting all the media articles spelling it out line by line that our military is in crises mode....there are dozens of pod cast from ex military people begging people to take action....and if your not hearing all of that then i'm sorry you don't care... once again the government runs procurement including picking out the equipment we purchase, take a look at the new maritime helo we bought,it is a one off and already parts are hard to find...that helo was not a military pick , but rather a political one....don't get me wrong the military is quit capable of screwing up a purchase, and there are some that goes right normally it is the sole source ones, like the CF-147F, C-17, C-130J, maybe the F-35...but the list of bad procurements you could write a book about....Iltis jeep,G wagon jeep, LSVW, MSVS trucks, MLVW replacement veh...and thats just trucks... Our guys work for the government and when they are told to not talk about things thats what they do....or they find themselves being retired...or in some meaningless job, or some allegations being made about them....see a long list of Generals that were forced to retire or out right fired, but later cleared... nothing is going to change because Canadians don't want it to change....unless there is consequences for not making NATO target of spending, which is still being talked about....not that Canada cares, why would it, it already has no reputation globally....we have nothing to really offer, europe is talking to us because of carney promises and signing on to the new European defence pact...breaking that is going to have consequences....Carney and the liberals did all of that and yes i hang all my hopes that eventually something does get done, i have a son and daughter in the military...so i'm invested.... In my opinion, this nation is not really worth the effort to defend, don't get me wrong i would fight for those that served and are serving or family and friends....with my last breath.....but that's where my patriotism stops...,and thats a hell of lot more than most Canadians give...thats saying something...when it's own people can't even come up with the funding to properly equip its troops, kind of says it all... https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/nato-canadian-armed-forces-europe-1.7135390 We can't say the government does not know...it is being discussed, by the defence committee, and the serving government gets daily briefs...what DND and the military can be released is up to the government and security clearances... I below are just a small sample of what is out there in regards to our military, none of these articles paints our military in a good light, and most of these stories sources are military or ex military...so they are standing up and telling the military story, and for some it has cost them their career.... I'm i pinning my hopes on Carney , yes i am....and if he pulls it off he'll have my vote next election....don't get me wrong, i've seen this dozens of times during my career, but as i grow older i become a little more desperate, as my son and daughters have taken up the torch...which is the only reason i still pray, something gets done....trust me it is not out of patriotism, that left me decades ago...it is for my family. If you can not find any media storys covering our military in a negative way your not really looking, there are plenty of ex generals talking to the media, plenty of ex military doing pod casts, way to much info for Canadians not to know anything...not sure what it will take to get them motivated into doing something....funney how the anti war wing nuts can find the time to protest but to ask someone to get out there and protest for our military all you get is crickets...we need more from Canadians. https://macleans.ca/politics/canadas-military-cant-defend-us/ https://macdonaldlaurier.ca/canadas-military-left-behind/ https://www.19fortyfive.com/2025/04/canadas-military-is-slowly-rotting-away/ https://ottawacitizen.com/news/national/defence-watch/military-morale-sees-uptick-but-problems-persist

  34. So anyone who buys an EV or a hybrid is only concerned with the planet... Ever think about the cost of gas, costs of servicing, or they just really like the vehicle? But yes, some are concerned with what an ICE vehicle does to the environment and buy for that reason....

  35. Really! Well go ahead and do it then. Explain to me what makes your semi-automatic 308 different than a military semi-automatic 308? You claim you can differentiate between the two, so make it happen. Clearly state what the difference is between the two. People on the left have been claiming there's an obvious difference and then failing completely to be able to articulate that difference effectively since forever. But go ahead, tell me all about the shoulder thing that goes up. The one thing you see worldwide with gun bands is the very first thing they do is say we're only banning military guns, immediately followed by all guns or military guns

  36. So what you're saying is you don't know anything about guns, but because you own one gun or did at some point in the past you feel knowledgeable enough to speak on the subject intelligently. This by having admittedly low understanding of the subject. So you weren't aware that you had to have knowledge of a subject before you could have an intelligent opinion regarding laws with regards to that subject. Muh Feels is good enough eh? As it turns out you don't actually need any knowledge at all with regards to firearms in order to support laws against them. You just need to be stupid. However in my experience that tends to be those on the left more than on the right. The police have come out against the latest gun laws and gun bans and gun collections, absolutely no criminal expert has ever suggested that they would make any difference whatsoever, and the fiscal experts have pointed out is going to be a lot more expensive then the liberals have suggested and question whether that's intelligent at a time that we are already significantly over budget given the fact that nobody thinks it's going to help. But yeah, you can ignore the science and the experts and go with muh feels if that's the kind of person you are, sure.

  37. Wasn't aware and won't disagree with that, but what investment is required in EV infrastructure or sales investment for a dealership? The servicing of an EV is less complicated and sales are sales. Only thing I can think of for infrastructure is diagnostic equipment being different, and obviously costly....?
