What if someone who doesn't like you tells ICE they think you are or are sheltering an illegal. They barge into your home and before you know it ,you or someone you love is on a redeye to el Salvadore. As with most things, I don't think you've thought this through. We didn't have RINOs. We just had Republicans. That's just what Republicans were for many decades. The right wing radicals taking over that party are the ones who are outliers adopting a new name. Right now it sucks to be any American who believes in American values. People who believe in the virtue of the constitution, in checks and balances, in the rule of law, civil rights and democracy in general are not having a very good time, watching 250 years of idealism unravel does indeed suck.
