Nothing we did was going to please Trump. This could backfire on Trump and Smith in long run. We need to be united, Canadians have never backed down from a fight before. But do we have that backbone anymore?2 points

Maybe you should read the article. The stupidity of MAGA never ceases to amaze. Even the dimmest bulb should understand that if people are unwilling to share information because they don't trust you, that makes you weaker, not stronger. As a matter of fact, just about everything Trump is doing will ultimately make the US weaker.2 points

Lmao.. ok whatever. My rule #8 is, if the libs hate it, do it twice.if they hate that, do it more.2 points

Do you know where it is? The silly b*tch in this video doesn't know where it is, so maybe one of you more experienced race hustlers can help her out.2 points

it's somewhat surreal when high ranking Republicans like Rand Paul and Mitch McConnell are pleading with Trump not to impose the tariffs. This will ultimately lead to perhaps the greatest recession since the 1930s2 points

I don't think we should reciprocate. We should escalate.1 point

I don't know how many times I can say this. The Democrat party uses the same tactics as cults like the Scientologists. If you dare escape the cult, then they come after you with a well orchestrated smear operation to discredit your negative experiences within their cult. The mob also uses similar tactics. They are mean. They are ruthless in that they'll try to ruin you financially and otherwise. They go after your family members including minors. They instill fear through retaliation and violence. Honestly, any academic worth their weight should be studying this for cult like behavior.1 point

MAGA CULT doesn't care about FACTS. Trump manufactures his own reality cause he's that sick.1 point

It's literally irrelevant thanks to the Orange Hitler down south. 25% tariffs on everything we export can literally sink us financially, especially when the justification for the tariffs are based on lies. Nobody is going to care about the Carbon Tax, with Trump wanting to annex Canada, and threats to ruin us financially. Do you think Austria Poland or Czechoslovakia cared about a relatively minor tax, when the Nazis were pushing them around, threatening invasion?1 point

A spy's #1 rule is never trust a politician who could use classified information for political gain. Other countries won't trust someone like Gabbard with their sources or sensitive intelligence. Even lot of high ranking Republicans are saying she is a bad choice.1 point

If Smith was really smart she'd see how this could result in the end of the discounted prices for Canadian oil that America has enjoyed for years. No more Canadian subsidies for America. If Canada was really smart we'd see that using our oil to play hardball might cause the blob to have an apoplectic stroke.1 point

Just cancelled a cruise on an American cruise line and when I get home I will be closing a bank account I have had in the US for years. I don't plan on visiting the place for at least 4 years.1 point

Why should I be forced to pay to protect individuals who can't provide for their own protection? That's pretty much the core definition of being woke if you ask me.1 point

It's very strange that two of the biggest Quislings in the forum are both retired veterans. Most veterans I know were proud to serve Canada, and would never betray their country.1 point

If you look at all the FBI's known lies, crimes, errors, omissions, entrapment schemes, their withholding of evidence, fabricating of evidence, embedding agent provocateurs in the J6 crowd (or at least downplaying the seriousness of the event to the extent that there was inadequate security to defend Congress), and their efforts to discredit the NYPost and the Hunter laptop information, doesn't it seem like there's enough evidence to start a RICO trial? How much systemic criminality within an organization is required to trigger a RICO case?1 point

You don't find it odd that every single one of your "opinions " directly coincide with far right propaganda. Right wing propaganda has a way of turning folks into belligerent authoritarian toadies. Perhaps if you packed all of your gish gallop nonsense into the shape of a dildo, you might be able to relieve some of that pent up frustration.1 point

A. Within 36 hours 5 people involved had died. B. How is that farking relevant to your asinine claim that firing the agents who investigated this massive, violent attack on our legislators amounts to dismantling a banana Republic. Obviously--hugely farking OBVIOUSLY--that incident must be investigated. Only in a "banana Republic" would a politically constituted police force not investigate something like that perpetrated by "their side." Which is exactly what Trump is broadcasting loud and clear: no independent justice to hold him accountable.1 point

My wife gets this at work. They have a master schedule that they use. She is a corporate instructor and has to use the term master when talking about schedules. The Microsoft bot keeps telling her that the use of the word master is not inclusive and she should consider using another word like primary. The battle with AI is not what AI can do, but what is it programmed to do. He who programs AI wins the information wars.1 point

As I have explained before... FBI resources are a limited thing. There are only so many agents and so many lawyers in the DOJ, and they chose to make this the largest investigation in US history, pouring over video, investigating, using these resources for years... to go after the equivalent of misdemeanor trespassing charges? Yes, how dare they politicize the FBI and DOJ, wasting their time, money, and resources when there are other more significant crimes out there.1 point
-
I'm not backing anyone. I'm just pointing out how you invalidated your own argument. I don't know what he's basing this idea that Hitler was provoked, but how can we find out if your argument is the equivalent of "you're a dooty head"?1 point

The audacity of the FBI to investigate a deadly insurrection at the Capitol. Only in a banana Republic would such a thing happen. We should definitely fire all the agents asked to investigate that event and replace them with strict political loyalists who would never investigate such a thing. So that we won't be a banana Republic, you know? Jeebus.1 point

Because now they have made PP's main talking point irrelevant. PP won't have a target until a new leader is chosen on March 9th. They have over a month to schedule any debates.1 point

The second time a major trade agreement ripped in less than a decade. America is no longer a reliable partner and cannot get her act together. It's turning into a narcissist bully who every so often and on every pretext will seek to punish her partners for the problems of her own making. No rational basis for cooperation. Just too bad.1 point

It's the carbon tax that's mice nuts. PP's still sucking on them like they contain mothers milk. They're dried up shriveled and yesterdays mice nuts. PP's going to faint the minute he's tasked to suck back anything bigger than an apple.1 point

The leadership is not irrelevant in comparison. And you don't seem to have an answer for the fact that the liberals are doing exactly the same thing. We would have a united front if the liberals had done the right thing and Trudeau had called an election back when his time fell apart last year Seems like you love the liberals more than you love Canada. Canada becomes a convenient thing for you to pretend that you care about if it means you get to take a cheap shot at the conservatives, even if you can't explain why the liberals are doing the same thing.1 point

So the Orange dirtbag says maybe only a 10% import tariff on our oil...so maybe only a 15% export tariff from our side. Sounds about right eh?1 point

He pretty clearly said less was coming across from Canada on the news the other night. Of course he never said squat about taking responsibility for stopping American guns illegally crossing the border our way. I'm sure he knows all about them too.1 point

I'm sure they're both quite aware, they just don't give a damn. Trump is an arsonist and Lutnick just wants more wealth and power.1 point

Every country has it's demons, even Canada. It should be noted that pretty much every European country hates Trump, and many are seriously contemplating supporting Canada and Mexico, and weaning themselves away from American made products. Donald Trump is the worst thing to ever happen to America. Right now the US is in the F**k Around stage. The public will be in the "Find Out" stage soon enough.1 point

This was my first thought too. A reminder of his shameless sociopath behavior to spin any deadly accident into a low tier political point. And the point is so ridiculously dumb that it seems like he's deliberate trolling the victims so as to grab media attention for himself.1 point

You're literally spending hours posting in this thread all about canadians, you're either deeply concerned or have compulsive obsessive disorder.1 point

As a retired airline pilot I'm used to stupid opinions every time there is an accident but in the 60 years since I entered the industry I have never heard one so sickeningly politicized. It really is disgusting and if one of those victims was a family member of mine, I would want to put Trumps head through a plate glass window. The man is a disgusting piece of shit.1 point

Your version of reality is a meandering river of coping, goal-post shifting and re-imagining past events. It takes a special kind of deluded clown to conclude that Russia's original vision of victory was to see their army shattered and hobbled against an enemy 1/4 their strength, to see them isolated and have their consumer economy blown out, and for their already steep and catastrophic demographic decline accelerated all in exchange for some rubble in Ukraine's east.1 point

The Electoral College exists to prevent the tyranny of the majority. The only reason so many people hate it on the left is because it works. Getting rid of it would eventually lead to the separation of the states as it would become impossible for them to have diverse opinions politically. I don't know that birthright citizenship needs a constitutional amendment and I'm not sure that it would be the best way to address it. The reason I say that is because it is challenging to write the language in such a way that it allows legitimate citizenship when somebody is legitimately born in America and still exclude birthplace tourism and such. While that might seem like an easy thing at first it would be very easy to abuse the language. So amendments that allowed for congressional laws to be applied may make more sense. Very easier to fine tune and change if it turns that they are now out of date or need to be corrected. You have to have a little more flexibility to change with the times and that would be a better way to handle it1 point
