I can't believe CNN actually aired this. That old saying stands true. Republicans think democrats are people with bad ideas. Democrats think Republicans are bad people with ideas.3 points

The average person in China does not have a better standard of living than in Canada. Your figures are probably not correct either.3 points

When the courts and the Senate Intelligence Committee say Trump's campaign manager colluded with Russia, I believe it. Why don't you? You only like to believe what you want because you don't have the balls to face reality? https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2020/08/19/yes-there-was-collusion/3 points

Alicia Planincic: The immigrants most valuable to the Canadian economy are now the most likely to leave - The Hub As the title says. Not all the people we allow in are valuable, and the most valuable are the ones that are going. We've now become like a dirty oil filter for other countries, with the least desirable staying here.2 points

Well the truth of the matter is, people will flock to countries where their quality of life will improve for them and their children. If China or India was like this, we would inevitably see millions of Africans, Ukrainians, and people from other parts of Asia and Eastern Europe waiting to immigrate there. However, the population of these places remains homogenous. Since I can remember (since WW2), people Worldwide have always wanted to migrate to North America and Europe, since we have relatively stable democratic principles, and in most cases, are not engaged in conflict.2 points

How would you know what I am? My political discussions have centered mostly on how I find far right men to be impotent, gutless cowards Russian patriots say that. Patriots in the West don't.2 points

I believe that Trump colluded with Russia because we heard him tell Russia on live TV they would be “well rewarded” if they released Hillary Clinton’s emails. And then we saw him inexplicably develop a very pro-Russia/anti-NATO foreign policy, going so far as to tell Russia that they’re welcome to invade NATO members who don’t, in Trump’s twisted opinion, pay their bills. On top of that, a bunch of his top advisors were caught colluding with Russia and it didn’t phase Trump one bit.2 points

And far right extremists think CNN is the left.2 points

Didn't see the NDP fighting terribly hard for it either. I think the real problem is that people are concerned that you would get minority parliaments with folks like you who can't make reasonable arguments and instead are driven by hatred and anger an oversized voice that they really didn't deserve2 points
-
I don't care about your "Leftards" (or Maggots either, for that matter) the fact is most people aren't as extreme and unbalanced as those two groups. Therefore, if you actually wanted to make a positive change, you're not going to be able to reach the rational majority.with the silly primary school vitriol you use. I would suggest you don't really care about your claims to "morality" but just want to score meaningless, imagined points on some joke of a forum, because no one in the real world will even engage with your nonsense Again you obviously don't want to be taken seriously2 points
-
I'm convinced that you're plenty dumb. All you do is make this broad generalizations, claiming that the very f-cked up economy of Trump was fantastic and that the incredible economic rebound we've sustained is horrible. Every economic indicator today is better than it was when Trump left office. We couldn't get fricking toilet paper when Trump was President. That's not a great economy. Hospitals couldn't get face masks for their doctors and nurses when Trump was President. That's not leadership.2 points

Deflect, dodge, duck and weave, but whatever you do, don't answer basic questions. And be sure not to trip over that tucked tail. Do you dispute that Manafort was Trump's campaign manager? Do you dispute that regularly had clandestine meetings and communications with Kilimnik? Do you dispute that at those meetings he gave Kilimnik "sensitive" internal polling and strategy from the Trump campaign? Do you dispute that Kilimnik in turn relayed that information to Russian intelligence services? Do you dispute that Russian intelligence services was running an active election interference and disinformation campaign against US voters with the express aim of helping Trump win?1 point

I gave you two news articles from lwnj news organizations that say the reports conclude there was no collusion. Just because you want to inflate some coincidences to intent doesn't mean there was actual intent or collusion.1 point
-
I "never" cite their conclusions? Several posts above I saw you quote the partisan spin section of the Senate Intelligence Committee report. I don't think you know how to read the reports. So perhaps stick to the facts of the report rather than the spin. Again, do you dispute any of those facts that are a matter of record?1 point
-
Funny, you talk about these three major reports (2 or which I have cited) but you never cite their conclusions. Why is that?1 point
-
I know we're now on page 2 of this thread (and that's a long time to remember) but you know the Mueller report was just the first of at lest 3 relevant reports, right? I'm trying to figure out how any remotely rational person still disputes the fact of collusion. Do you dispute that Russian intelligence services was running an active election interference and disinformation campaign against US voters with the express aim of helping Trump win? Those are all facts of historical record at this point. Do you have secret information that indicates that any of them are incorrect? If not, then you must acknowledge collusion.1 point

I just can't believe how far detached from reality you and hodad are. I posted the links from 2 left leaning news outlets that summarized the Muehler and Durham reports as showing Trump DID NOT collude with Russia. And you still act like he did. It's crazy. Literally crazy.1 point

The cult is deliberately avoiding any meaningful conversation about responsibility, acceptance and commitment to democratic principles and values. Ex-NYC COVID czar Jay Varma fired from job after sex-party scandal (nypost.com) “Varma boasted about harassing people into submission over the vaccine mandate and admitted to participating in illegal sex parties, all while he, former Health Commissioner Dr. David Chokshi, and then-Mayor Bill de Blasio imposed draconian measures that shut down the entire city,” the Queens Democrat said. “The hypocrisy is outrageous.” Varma’s seamy chats — which included him boasting, “I did all this deviant, like sexual stuff,” and, “I had to be kind of sneaky about it … because I was running the entire COVID response in the city” — were made public last week by conservative podcaster Steven Crowder. His firing came as enraged city business owners and parents joined lawmakers on the steps of City Hall on Monday to rally against the randy doctor, saying that while they were masking up, keeping their kids home from school and taking other precautionary measures against deadly COVID — under his instruction — he was getting up close and personal with throngs of people. “While grandmothers took their last breaths alone on cold hospital beds, Dr. Varma was fulfilling his sick fantasies with hundreds of sweaty strangers,” city Councilwoman Inna Vernikov (R-Brooklyn) raged. "They never, ever, ever told us it was 100% effective." Uh-huh 🙄1 point

This may not be what some want to hear or even think about these days, but at this time, de facto the cult has already detached itself from democracy. It does not see itself a part of it. It suspects and despises it. And in the large picture, it can do without it. It thinks. At this time, it is a-democratic, ambivalent and detached from democracy. But if it sees a threat or a benefit, it can become anti-democratic quite easily and fast too. This path is wide open now. See, think for yourself, disagree if you will but complacency, playing with these things pretending that they are some funny fancies can be very risky. History tells us that in no uncertain terms.1 point

No the real reason is that so many people believe shit like that they'd hinder any process. PP would be screaming such an accusation at the top of his lungs. Just as he, a career politician at the top pension is blasting out ads that the only reason Singh won't support his obstructionist power seeking is so he can pad his. All we're ever going to see is oceans of lies and misinformation on electoral reform the average Joe will have to wade through.1 point

Trump managed the pandemic from March 2020 until January, 2021. That's only ten months. Biden managed it from February, 2021 until January 2025. That's four full years. So you're giving Trump a cookie because he only dealt with the pandemic for ten months? And, for every single day of those four years, I've been able to buy all the toilet paper and spaghetti sauce I want.1 point

So in other words because the voices in your head say so. The grits and the dips have driven this nation to the edge, trashed it's finances for at least a generation, turned everyone against each other, and broken all of our services and institutions. But you'll support them because a student of one of the most popular prime ministers in history is a (gasp!!!) EEEEVIL TOOOOORRRYYYY. (they steal children you know!)
