It's pretty straight forward. GHG emissions went down under harper even before the recession kicked in and stayed low - they went up with the liberals including trudeau till we shut the economy down for covid. In fact harper inherited a rapidly climbing GHG emissions number and not only got it under control after year it dropped. Then as part of the economic stimulus he did the GST rebate for people who upgraded their furnaces and insulation etc, and a hell of a lot of people took advantage of that (which our GHG numbers still benefit from today). Justin inherited a low ghg growth and squandered it, till covid shut the place down. And justin is no where remotely close to achieving his paris agreements despite numerous times saying it was his priority. His carbon tax has hurt the economy and people's ability to afford food and homes tremendously, and yet it's is an utter failure to achieve the goals he said it would. Harper very arguably did more long term good without any promises than justin and the liberals have done with all of their promises. Kyoto, paris, etc. Edited to add chart link i forgot. https://www.canada.ca/en/environment-climate-change/services/environmental-indicators/greenhouse-gas-emissions.html2 points

If the people who pretend to care so much about global warming were legit, their solution wouldn't be: "Stop burning Alberta coal right beside the mines - ship it 10,000 km to China to be burned there." There's nothing about our "Global warming" targets that doesn't benefit China. Buy their batteries, buy their solar panels and other green tech, sell our cheapest fuels to them at a discount, and make energy costs here skyrocket, while they use all the cheapest forms of energy available. And do we really believe in the purchase of these "carbon offsets"? Does Trudeau really pay enough money into a legitimate carbon offset company to make up for the fact that he flies his own sycophant mediatards around in a jumbo jet, or is that BS as well? Who owns these companies? A bunch of cronies? Celebrity global warming pimp: "Yeah, I fly a private jet and cruise in circles in a yacht - burning more fuel almost every day than you burn in your entire lifetime - but I pay for some tree-planting. If I didn't pay for those trees to be planted, we would eventually run out." Sure buddy, I totally believe you. Thanks for saving the planet.2 points

Insurrectionist Quote: “Stop The Steal” If Trump believed the election was rigged, he had the right to legally and lawfully challenge it. He did not have the right to pressure state election officials in Georgia, Michigan, and Arizona to violate their state laws and “find Trump votes” which weren’t cast, or appoint electors who weren’t duly appointed by law, or to overturn the legitimate legal outcomes. He didn’t have the authority to order or persuade Mike Pence to corruptly refuse the electoral votes lawfully out before him, and he certainly did not have the authority to whip his supporters up into frenzy which lead to rioting that lead to five deaths and the interruption of electoral ballot counting. He had the right to sue, to obtain evidence through court order, to request recounts. He did all that. No result was overturned in a single precinct. You have been buying into lies, my friend. That is why the piece of shlt Donald Trump is facing 91 felony charges. He knew the rules. He knew the laws. His attorneys advised him on what was and was not lawful. He thought laws and rules don’t apply to him. They do! And he’s going to go to prison because of it. His own ultra-loyal attorney general told him he lost. That there was no evidence of widespread fraud. Trump made up his mind before the election even happened; his strategy was to remain President no matter what. All he had to do was step aside after the legal oaths were exhausted. He refused. Now Trump is filing all sorts of motions claiming “Absolute Immunity,” and the courts are consistently saying “No way; the President has no such immunity.” And he knows it; he is going to trial.2 points

You pick and choose the parts in your favor in any post and then ignore the parts which are not. I said Hamas started it by most violent crime (gang rape of defenseless women) and killing unarmed civilians. For these acts they should be shot once between their legs and once between their eyes. I also said that Israelis are not responsible for civilian deaths because Hamas use civilians as human shields. Unlike Hamas, Israelis don't target civilians but they are killed because coward Hamas fighters are hiding among them.2 points

There is a hot book on Amazon called: "O CHINADA, The Manchurian Canadaian: Communist Patsy of Canada, CHANNELING CASTRO" O CHINADA, The Manchurian Canadaian: Communist Patsy of Canada, CHANNELING CASTRO eBook : Rosenberger, Richard Abram: Amazon.ca: Kindle Store "We are witnessing the globalist hostile takeover of Canada through Justin Trudeau. Following the World Economic Forum playbook, Marxist powers of this age have "penetrated" the Liberal Government of Canada by the Queen's Royal Assent. Foreign actors and interests currently control the Prime Minister, all under the guiding eye of the Monarchy. An autocoup has already dismissed our Constitution, mandated tyranny, holding many nations. Treaties are signed, but you were NOT at the table!" Is this for real or is this some kind of scam? I don't know. We do know the Trudeau government puts a lot of trust in what the U.N. says and parrots them on some things like Covid vaccinations, climate change and now the war between Israel and Hamas, and mass immigration into Canada. Canada already seems to be less of a sovereign country and more of some kind of property of the U.N. We know Canada also sends billions of dollars to other countries. Four billion to Iraq. And we know Canada is spending tens of billions of dollars on EV battery plants as part of their war on climate change and the U.N. has been banging the gavel about the war on climate change along with COP28. We need to ask why Trudeau and his minister Guilbeault need to using Canada on the war against climate change likely more fervently than any other country in the world. Why are we paying such a heavy price for this war on climate change? Maybe I will get the book on Kindle or get the paperback. It is hard to judge a book by its cover.1 point

Here's the thing. In the past it's paid off. They're like a little pissy kid who throws something at a bigger kid and then hides behind the teachers begging for help. And it's worked - they attack israel, israel retaliates, they run to the UN and cry like crazy and the UN puts a stop to it and gives them all sorts of pity and they get a power bump. That's what 'compassion' is to these people - something to be exploited for political and financial profit. But this time - the UN did not step in to hold Israel back. This time israel is off the leash and is determined to end the threat. I suspect hamas is brutally surprised and shocked that they're having to fight the war they started. So now they're hiding among the people and using them as shields and THAT"S not working. I have no doubt they're in their little holes right now thinking "But but but but.... THEY'RE supposed to have to play FAIR?!!?!?!"1 point

I've posted the facts for you. You just ignore them. Instead you cherry pick a few that you feel makes it seem less worse and claim that all is well. @Nationalist is correct - the people are aware of the truth. You can tell them their economy is great but they know better because they see it in their day to day lives. And the numbers show the truth - people's income is way down, any gains to the stock market or gdp is due to insane levels of gov't spending that are unsustainable and have driven inflation through the roof. People are worse off - and they know they are. SO when you lie and say "the economy is amazing!!!" They say "Yeah.... we'll take trump please. "1 point

The GOP was instrumental in encouraging corporations to move offshore, convincing its dupes/supporters to embrace and celebrate it by largely cultivating the sense that its critics were liberals, lefties and commies. Nowadays its critics are the same GOP dupporters who've dimly woke up to some sense they've been screwed over. Now they've been duped into blaming liberals, lefties and commies for being the ones who screwed them over. Fair and equitable amongst the oligarch class, maybe. These are like piranha, happy to swarm and devour hapless dupes but just as happy to take a chunk out of one another too if need be.1 point

Said like a true weenie on willing to identify and address their own issues. Other than the sheer comedic value it doesn't matter to me in the slightest two wins. So if anything I am a Nicely impartial observer Ah, so in other words your defense is to attack others for doing what you are doing yourself in order to hide your own hypocrisy. They at least have a valid reason, they said to lock her up but once actually in power Trump said no we're not going to behave that way. Democrats said the same thing after that and meant it. They are bound and determined to turn the law against Trump inappropriately. The repiblican supporters must feel like complete losers for coming to their senses and backing down when trump told them to. I'm sure they won't make THAT mistake again. You seriously need to get your heads out of your asses as a country and put your democracy and your Freedoms ahead of this pathetic political squabbling. The rhetoric on both sides should be unacceptable to everyone1 point

First of all, it's the way it is. My feelings are irrelevant - that's what happens. It's like if i said 'when you pull the pin on a grenade it goes off and kills the people in the immediate area' and you claiming 'i'm ok with it'. IT's just the way it works. Don't like it? Don't start wars. I don't think that's "obvious" but it's possible. I'm not sure they can protect themselves leaving gaza in tact after all and they may come to that conclusion Fortunately hamas can stop that and end the killing by surrendering tomorrow. That will bring an end to the conflict and israel will be forced to stop. Easy peasey As it is, they're still trying to kill as many israeli civilians as they can every single day. So it may come to a question of whether or not it's possible to have peace with hamas and gaza in place. I guess that's up to the people of gaza1 point

Right? The health of the economy isn't a guessing game. It's not a paint-your-feelings-by-number art project at the asylum. It's measured extensively and consistently on a huge number of metrics year after year. It's a fact that the Biden economy is night and day better than the dumpster fire he inherited from Trump, but it's also a fact that I'm just measures it's as good or better than pre-covid Trump. Most Americans are financially better off than they were four years ago. Math is math.1 point

The House Jan. 6 committee has already laid out the case very clearly. No need to restate it all. Trump refused in September 2020 to state he would support a peaceful transfer of power if he lost. He told the proud boys to Stand By. There’s abundantly documented evidence that ALL of his advisors and his attorney general told him he lost and that there was no evidence of widespread fraud. He illegally pressured election officials to corruptly change the voting outcome. He illegally established “alternate electors,” including fraudulent certificates. He chose to rally on Jan 6 specifically. He had other protests and rally’s rescheduled to Jan 6. He conspired with those organizers to tell the Park Service there would be no march to the Capitol, and to say so on the permit applications. He called supporters to “Stop the Steal.” He sat for three hours watching the attacks on TV and doing nothing to stop it. He didn’t call any National Guard, Army or police units to deploy.1 point

Twitter is national. It's international if you wanna be precise. Trump absolutely told his supporters to stop 3 times in 2 hrs. Obama didn't tell people to stop murdering in 3 years. He literally stood at the funeral of 5 murdered officers and blamed racism, slavery and Jim Crowe laws. Stop trying to make things fit into your narratives, just open your f'ing eyes. Not having been there I'm not gonna say for certain who was right/wrong and how much each of their actions contributed to Trayvon's death, but I'll tell you this for 100% certain: he wasn't just a nice, polite kid who was marked for death just because of his skin colour. In that moment, he did things that caused his own demise. Caused. It's possible that Zimmerman was a huge a-hole. It's possible that Trayvon was minding his own business when an overzealous idjit cop-wannabe walked up on him and started flexing. We've all been there. A that moment you just have to let them power-trip and then be on your merry way. If you fight them - which is absolutely stupid AF - you're better off losing right away than giving them a good fight, because if they feel like they're losing they'll have a decision to make, and it doesn't end well for you. OMG, for real? Here's a thing: Cheating in a game of Go Fish is not okay. Murdering kids is not okay. Both are shameful. But one is worse than the other by several orders of magnitude. Obama inciting riots and supporting all of the carnage was off-the-charts bad. The 3+ yr long Russian collusion witch hunt, and all of the lies and crimes and offers of reduced sentences for false testimony was off-the-charts bad. Trump beefed about Dem election cheating for two months, TWO MONTHS, and the Dems/FBI are 100% known to be election cheaters, then when one brief riot happened he condemned it 3 times in as many hours. FYI #3 is not as bad as #1 or #2. It's not ideal, but it was far more reasonable. The Dems and the dumbest 10% of NA feel like what Trump did was an abomination and even the FBI's crimes were ok. Get a grip. You sound like a child. Trump was better, and different. It's just a fact and it's impossible for you to not have noticed that Trump was an anti-riot president and Obama was 100% in love with rioting. You never denied that Obama incited and cheered on riots? You said this: Not the same thing. He didn't orchestrate the riots. He did nothing about them, but is not responsible for causing them. Here's the thing dude, you're trying to say that he was an insurrectionist, but all you can point to is a speech where he talked bout being peaceful and patriotic. When a lukewarm riot broke out he called for it to stop, in no uncertain terms, 3 times in 3 hrs. I'm not gonna go along with the 'insurrectionist' drivel, it's total bullshit... Just like collusion was, just like their covid narrative was, just like their global warming narrative is, etc... Buddy, not a singe thing that I said is 'far right propaganda'. Trump didn't do a hellfire and brimstone speech to get people into a frenzy, and he didn't ask them to do anything illega. Your id10tic story is "He tried to get them to storm Capitol Hill with subtle hints." Pound sand. Buddy, you asked for proof that Trump asked for an end to the rioting, and I gave you that. Sending Tweets was by far the quickest and most direct way to ask for an end to the rioting. It was the only way, tbh. IDGAF what your personal standards for communication are - they're nonsensical. It's an actual legal business standard that communications are sent and received the same way, in the same format. If you want to give someone official notice from one company to another, to cancel a contract for example, and you've been sending the contracts as PDF's via email, you can't just randomly send them a fax and consider it done. For legal purposes, that person has not been notified. If you've been sending/receiving faxes, then only a fax can be considered proper legal notice. It's like if you send someone a text like "Let's go to dinner at The Keg in Langley at 6:00" and they text you back "Sure thing, see you there", then they send you an email an hour later to cancel... you'd be pissed when you show up and they don't come. It's completely ridiculous to send an email to continue a conversation that was being conducted via text, right? Trump's most devout supporters follow him on Twitter, that's his standard for communicating with them. Plus, they didn't bring their TVs to capitol hill, so a video msg on TV wouldn't reach them in time to make a difference. If the rioting was going on for years on end, as with Obama's riots, it would have made sense to do a TV broadcast as well, but the rioting didn't last long enough for that to be necessary because it was over before any of those guys had a chance to see anything on TV. Right?1 point

There are many different voting systems. But the Dominion voting system is actually very good. It prints a human-readable ballot. The voter gets to see who he voted for on a piece of paper that prints out. He then hands it to an election official and it is stored, so if there’s a recount, they have both the electronic and the paper ballots to go back to. The Trumpers create their own reality by fabricating stories of what could theoretically happen. That does not make their fantasies true. For instance, the Trumpers say that it is theoretically possible that an unemployed 18 year-old single girl without a passport somehow got a passport without leaving a record, bought a very expensive international plane ticket, flew to an undisclosed country, gave birth, then flew back to Hawaii, got a birth certificate faked, conned a doctor into falsely claiming he’d delivered her baby, got him to sign a birth certificate, got the newspaper to publish a false birth announcement… all for no discernible reason. But it’s possible, so therefore, it must be true? You can construct any sort of bizarre fantasy you want about Hugo Chavez and aliens from space faking ballots… that doesn’t make it true or provable in court.1 point

Here’s your problem: You say the economy is bad. That’s just talking shlt. There are objective measures of economic performance. Lots and lots of them. Figures that Trump used all the time — Unemployment (we’re all-time low), the DJIA (we’re all-time high), and so forth. And you’re incapable of pulling one single measure out of your ass which objectively makes your point.1 point

Sure they did, and still are. They're still holding hostages. They're still fighting, still firing rockets into Israel. The fact that they're doing so as an insurgency hidden within the civilian population they're supposedly "elected" to govern paints a clear picture of what their priorities are. That doesn't make Israel the good guys here, or excuse their carelessness and indiscriminate force, but there's no reasonable reality where Hamas remains the governing authority in Gaza after what's happened.1 point

Hamas numbers aren't just unreliable. They're completely worthless. With Iranian funding, they started a destabilizing conflict they knew without a doubt would invite a heavy response. Holding together this whole "insurrection" accusation has become a full time job for Libbies. There was no "insurrection" on January 6th and the released video proves that. Trump did not call for an "insurrection" and the video and other evidence proves that. PLUS...if Trump believed the election was rigged, as POTUS it was his duty to call that out...which he did and millions believed the same. Hell they still do. This belief is what's really got the Libbies' panties in a knot. It delegitimizes their election. Their POTUS. Their "criminal in chief". The SCOTUS will overturn this because there is simply no proof an "insurrection" took place...let alone that Trump called for one. In 10 months the American public votes for POTUS again. If Trump is not on the ballot, then we might see a real "insurrection". It's now my belief that that is really what the Libbies want. The utter destruction of America.1 point

I think the main issue that people of most political stripes and economic status can and should rally around is the idea of subsidiarity: Keep decision-making as local as possible. Whenever too much authority accumulates at the top over how people should live their lives, alienation and oppression ensue. We absolutely must be wary of unaccountable organizations, especially global ones, influencing national and local policy. We must also be very careful not to let “crisis” or “safety” become the justification for suspending or removing constitutional rights. The ends don’t justify the means. I think that the main reason Canadians feel such frustration with government is the sense that the people at the top are out of touch with the grassroots and don’t face the challenges of most Canadians. I’m always wary now of elitist trends/hobbies, because they tend to treat regular people like play armies to be moved around on a battlefield, sacrificed, and pressed into the service of some Cabinet or Politburo central planning dream. It’s fine to have causes, such as climate change and inclusion, but when the policies created to champion these causes lower living standards and alienate people on the basis of race, gender, sexual orientation, etc., we are creating new problems with no assurance that any significant impact will be made on climate or equal opportunity. There are many revolutionaries who want to destroy the institutions and esteem for the people who built much of Canada: scientific, religious, white, European, etc. There’s a desire to destroy our industries and energy sector in the name of “saving the planet”, but rather than actually making industry cleaner in sustainable ways and creating more opportunity for all, the revolutionaries in government are simply raising the cost of living and shipping industry and jobs overseas. We lose our strengths in the process, feel ashamed of what is good about Canada, and feel like our political and organizational leaders don’t actually have the interests of ordinary Canadians in mind. They use their platforms to make themselves look good internationally and throw Canada under the bus. Of course none of their policies meaningfully reduce climate change. Our inhabitable land simply gets more crowded with immigrants to meet some international UN/WEF target, emissions go up, and per capita growth drops along with our living standards and quality of life. Generally I would call what’s underway an attack on tradition. What are we getting in return? We have the freedom to have government help us kill ourselves, the right to take hard drugs and abuse ourselves in countless ways, yet we have made homes unaffordable for young people, raised the cost of living, and cheapened life by ridiculing those who proclaim that life is sacred and constitutional rights are inalienable. Canada is worse today than it was several years ago, not just financially but politically, socially, and spiritually. Somewhere along the way too many bad influences gained too much power. I hope we can rediscover what made us strong. I’m not sure the country will be as good as it was in the past in my remaining years. There’s a dark, anti-human nihilism in the movement to reduce our carbon footprints. There’s a divisiveness in the equity movement and identity politics. There’s a dangerous overlap of biotech, government, surveillance, and automated data collection in the mission to “keep us safe”. The growing influence of A.I., if left unchecked, adds to human vulnerability.1 point

Global warmingcooling is real! If you don't want to die in one of the global warming floodfires that herbie foresaw, you need to vote for AOC, Trudeau AND Biden. Luckily it's easier than you think. Just grab a local phonebook and go from polling station to polling station in the areas where voter ID is verboten, and pretend to be anyone with a white-supremacist-sounding name.
