  2. IIRC conservatives were the only people who reserved judgement of the vaccine until it was in use for a while. Conservatives had an open mind for HCQ, Ivermectin, Remdesivir, Vits + zinc, and all kinds of other therapeutics. Leftists started off with two camps of people saying either "NOTHING ELSE WILL EVER WORK. ONLY THE VACCINES WILL WORK. THEY WILL BE 100% SAFE AND EFFECTIVE!" or "I won't take the vax because Trump said to take it", and as soon as Biden was 'elected' 100% of them went full-vaxtard. The reason why I never got vaxed is 1) I didn't feel like I was in an at-risk demographic 2) I was waiting to see how effective the vax was and how many side-effects there were. Keep in mind, no one wanted the vaxes to be a total flop, we all wanted it to be safe and effective because we hate covid. It just wasn't, and we were following the 'stats', not 'scientific dogma'.

  3. true, but that is just a symptom of the failed Canada Act 1982 the Charter of Rights & Freedoms has proven to be unsustainable as Section 1 is being invoked in ways not "reasonable in a free and democratic society" yet there is no effective mechanism to protect us from this tyrannical overreach this is a fatal flaw being exposed in real time, deep in the constitution itself it's tearing the society apart to the threshold of civil disorder thus Canada, as it is written, has become an anathema to its own stated purpose no longer reaching the level of a free country, by the poison pills written into its own Charter it's a failed state, and now we simply live in the rubble of it

  5. Potential bias is important to me. This is why I pay more attention to doctors, scientists and studies that are NOT funded by Pfizer. And yes, I check out potential biases in every article, study or scientist I read. Like this $2.8 million wire transfer from Pfizer to the FDA, attached to their application for approval of the vaccine.

  7. 1. Immigration? Are you saying immigrants are the ones driving up housing sales and prices? 2. Are you insinuating that a person cannot own more than one property? 1. Are you saying that governments are not allowing housing development? Maybe it is the NIMBY crowd opposing. Look at the shit storm going on in the York region with government opening green space and the public is outraged. 2. Government red tape is for sure a big factor in development costs. that is a given.

  8. Yeesh. ? It hasn't worked out so well for the Chinese citizenry. Something to think about: A cashless society means NO CASH. Zero. It doesn't mean "mostly cashless" or "a wee bit of cash here and there" Cashless means fully digitized, fully traceable, fully controlled No more tuck-away cash for those preparing to leave domestic violence No more purchases off marketplace unless you want to risk bank transfer fraud No more garage sales No more cash donations to homeless people you pass by No more cash slipped into your grandchild's hand No more money in birthday cards No more piggy banks or tooth fairy for children No more selling bits and pieces from your home that you no longer want/need for a bit of cassh Less choice in where you purchase based on affordability Banks and governments will have full control of every cent you have Every transaction will be recorded (Reminder that the gov't froze bank accounts and is implementing further power to do it again) All your movements and actions are traceable, meaning if the government doesn't agree with what you do or where you go - you are cut off financially without a hearing at the flick of a switch and with no recourse or warning Your ability to buy and sell will be tied to your behaviour You really need to research what it is. Of course, it's going to be touted by the governments as a "convenience" and people who have no critical thinking ability and have ignored the example of the Chinese citizenry and think "it will never happen here".......seriously need to think this through.

  9. A system like that makes a lot of sense actually. Maybe then we could start doing something about all the money laundering services our financial institutions and legal system is providing to criminals and oligarchs.

  10. Try uploading the one document that brings it all together then. Surely there's one somewhere. Okay, here's a simple question, how many people are involved in this program?
    1 point
  11. Can you show me the documents that organize and dovetail all this together with similar efforts other countries and governments are implementing? How about assessment reports gauging success or failure of the program?
    1 point
  12. Can you show me a copy of that official policy? Again if all the 10's of thousands if not hundreds of thousands of people acting in concert can accomplish all this without a written document to guide them...my hats go off to them and I will happily submit to their competence.

  13. And all this organizing of a program designed to oppress and control humanity on an international/global scale is being accomplished without a single memo, meeting note, email, audio/video recording, whistle-blower leaking a single bit of physical evidence. It's incredible. I mean, if this organization is so competent, capable and skilled to be able to pull this all off without anyone coming up with a single shred of evidence of it happening they probably should be put in charge of the world.

  14. To add: Russian peasants and the Khmer Rouge learned to distrust people who could read, or who had glasses. The latter would just kill people with bad eyesight. You can see how they get there, I guess, but that doesn't explain four-eyes Poilievre.

  15. Not even the Chinese do that anymore. No governments want a Tiananmen caught on camera. The way to oppress people and violate rights now is through deplatforming. Basically freeze bank accounts, shut down people’s social media accounts, take away their license to work, declare their views unacceptable in public, etc., without actually kicking anyone in the face or getting your hands dirty. I mean you can do that behind the scenes Stasi style like the international cops did during the Emergencies Act. This is the new totalitarianism. It’s digital totalitarianism, a social credit system. Download the app. Canada already has ArriveCAN and is abusing anti-terrorist legislation to suppress political dissent. President Xi and PM Trudeau are the “global leaders” ushering this in. Canada is the perfect beta test for this because U.S. Republicans wouldn’t stand for such clear violations of their Constitution. Our Conservative Party is de facto Liberal and half the party is in full support of these policies. Ask Charest, Rempel, and others like them. Don’t forget, the political opposition to the Liberals is always “racist-misogynist-fringe” with what our dictator calls “unacceptable views”, even when the protesters or political opponents are people of colour, Indigenous, etc. The police will trample Indigenous protesters with horses and the MSM and their shills like Eyeball will defend government actions. Big Tech is in on the action too. Bill C-11 will cement this. That’s our country now.

  16. Except we need to compensate for the shitty upbringing too many kids do get at home. The phrase garbage in garbage out comes to mind. Some parents can raise kids responsibly and some can't. It just is what it is.

  17. It's not so much "terrified" of a vaccine, as cognizant of the fact that it is experimental, and neither as safe or as effective as touted. You may not agree that these are important factors to consider when it comes to making individual long-term health decisions, but a lot of the rest of us - do.

  18. Has anyone actually seen a picture of someone being physically restrained as they were injected with vaccine? Of all the billions of vaccinations being administered somebody must have one or two by now.

  20. I’ve said all along, when you’re sick, stay home. The vulnerable can double-mask, quadruple vax, take anti-virals… Enough feeding hypochondria and other psychological problems by stoking misplaced fear over Covid. Enough excuses for doctors and executives to work from home. Enough over the top quarantine rules and other mandates that are causing attendance problems, hurting businesses, taking people’s jobs, and contravening our constitutional right to medical discretion.

  21. A few years ago beds were going for $1500 per month and more around the Alberta oil sands towns. Rents are the same as houses for sale, supply and demand. Low demand, low rents, high demand, high rents. Rent controls only lessen the rental availability in most places. If landlords are held to increases regardless of cost of maintenance of properties (repairs, mortgages, taxes, general costs) then they sell and get out of the business.

  24. Sick people should be at home, whether it's Covid, the flu, pneumonia or even a cold. That way, they protect "the vulnerable" from perhaps getting very sick from something that most people may only get mildly sick from. And hasn't that been the rallying cry of so many of you - "protect the vulnerable, let us get on with our lives!" Although any time anyone suggests what you can do to "protect the vulnerable" you all get pissed that you're being inconvenienced in some way.

  27. I want a social conservative AND a fiscal conservative. End this creepy Marxist-nihilist dictatorship in Canada. End ridiculous soul-destroying policies like vaccine mandates and Nazi digital vax passes. Stop teaching young children racist ideas like that they are victims or oppressors based on superficial qualities like skin colour (CRT). Stop confusing children by promoting unscientific notions like the idea that gender is entirely a social construct and there are 150 genders. Stop declaring rights that are supposed to be constitutionally protected non-essential, such as the freedom to practice one’s religion or participate in a political protest. Polievre is right now the only political force that has enough support to actually restore democracy at the national level, but the anti-democratic Liberal-MSM-Big Tech alliance is actively trying to smear and destroy him. I don’t know if sanity and democracy are salvageable in Canada. There’s barely any distance between government and the press and big corporate Canada. Without a free press or a government that respects the Constitution, I think it may be time for freedom-loving people to leave Canada — if you can. After seeing Steamwhistle pile on against Polievre, I’ll never drink their beer again. https://apple.news/As78qVvFCTUyDsIDABNyEww

  29. Very true. Based on current data, it’s unclear why we still bother having isolation requirements and why people keep doing at-home tests for what has become a relatively mild sickness in the vast majority of people. Three months ago it was clear that our workplace attendance problems had much more to do with Covid quarantine policies than the actual impact of Covid on people’s health. We’re back in Salem again, seeing witches where there are only hysterical and fearful people. The government is perpetuating this. They should simply treat Covid like the flu, offer vaccines to those who want them, and tell people to stay home when they’re sick, no matter what the illness, as we did pre-pandemic. The vaccine and mask mandates have become the trump card over constitutional rights. They are destroying people’s sense of autonomy, stunting them socially, and reinforcing superstition. There’s no hard science behind any of it, not anymore. Every day at work I hear of colleagues and clients who are shut up in their homes over Covid policies and fear, yet none of them are very sick.

  30. I notice they tend to count all unvaccinated cases and deaths then compare it to the vaxx number omitting the fact that for a year the majority were unvaccinated.

  31. Here, Eyeball. I found some information that may help you grasp what is going on right now. Ontario, reported on January6, 2022: That is 11,100 VACCINATED people and 1,797 UNVACCINATED people. In Ontario, 83% of people are vaccinated, leaving 17% unvaccinated. If this were proportional, there would only be 8,661 VACCINATED cases, instead we see a disproportionate number of VACCINATED cases. This may have been the case for a short while, but it is no longer representative of what is happening. The vaccinated are contracting and dying at twice the rate of the unvaccinated. Try to keep up.

  32. They can't admit that because if they did it would be an admission of guilt. Especially because much of the basis for medical discrimination was based on faulty science and assumptions from a non-proven vaccine. Of course if you know business the reason for the vaxx push was likely not related to "the science" but rather a return on investment to Pfizer and Moderna investors. Likely in the contract governments signed with these companies to guarantee vaccine supply.

Why the 'slimeball' label for Pierre Poilivere when other contributing citizens of Canada would apply that moniker to you and your 'slack-assed' life style?
