Funny how that happened when all of the passengers on board were all fully vaccinated or no one is allowed to board the ship. No non vaccinated on those cruise ships. The anti-vaxers are the real smart ones here because they already know full well that vaccinated or not vaccinated they may still get the covid bug. So what? Every year in the past few decades people have been getting sick from flu like symptoms all the time, and they all did what everybody should be doing? If one is not feeling so great then stay the hell at home until that person gets better. Why all this need for more vaccines, vaccine passports and constant mask wearing is beyond me. All those precautions mentioned above have done nothing to stop this so called convid virus from infecting people. I am at a loss as to why there are so many stupid and gullible people out there? We are talking about coerced corrections and social credit in remote places, but here's a thought: is it already here, just by another name? Just off the radio, vaccines offer only 15% protection against the new variant according to Ontario science table. So how are the passports still justified, by what evidence? Are they still there to provide a strong, or critical even given the extent and implication of the restrictions, benefit to the society? Or mostly, only to reward blind compliance and "good behavior" - as defined by anonymous bureaucrats with no explanation and accountability, responsible to nobody? In those remote places it's called something like "politburo" but surely it's so very different... is it, though and how would we know? Talk about the irony... and no one talking about it being only temporary anymore...

Being able to see people’s faces, including the workers, has value. Having normal freedoms has value. In many US states people are living their lives mask-free. Many are vaccinated but not all. Omicron is spreading just about everywhere. Almost everyone is recovering fairly quickly. We need to let go of our chains and get on with leading healthy normal lives. An individual? I can tell you how much gasoline I burn weekly - it is about 35 liters with my personal vehicle, and another 40 liters with the company pickup. My family generates one 60 litter bag of plastic waste / week , one 20 litter bag of foam / week , one 40 liter bag of recyclable plastics, 7 glass bottles of wine, 24 beer cans I use about $250 worth of electricity per month in the winters (always wondered why they called it "hydro" here, which suggests water). Then you have the food items for the week, with the associated emissions to produce those and deliver them to market. But that's me only. You go to the next person and his consumption may be 10 times higher than mine because he only drives a pickup, has a snowmobile , a boat, just bought a new property and spent a few weeks of excavator work to "develop the land". He works in forestry and also burned 1,000 liters of diesel a week, but in addition he also destroyed a chunk of forests that would have cleaned some of his mess, if he did not wipe it out. Or you have the homeless bum, who does not have a vehicle and generates very little carbon emissions. Then you have a moron like Bezos fly into space, so he can look at the Earth from there, hide it under his thumb, to only then supposedly realize that it is vulnerable. But he will insist he needed to look at it from space because then the humanity can really take it seriously. Seriously? You can see what kinds of huge idiots we have in the cockpit and that is because we have a system in place designed to produce and reward the idiots. And that is the really sad part for the rest of us.

I am a conservative, although not happy with the present CPC party, and I support all the health guidelines, vaccinations, and mandates to fight Covid. I think it is a serious threat to the world. It has already taken many lives. I don't think all Canadian conservatives oppose vaccinations, mandates, and the health guidelines. So it is wrong to generalize and accuse every conservative of being opposed to mandates and health guidelines. A small percentage do and they have given the majority a bad name. The opponents may come from other parties as well. Also many of those protesting against the mandates and health guidelines might not be supporters of any particular party. Many think their rights are being threatened although I disagree with them. They are still a small minority of Canadians. I think something like 80% of Canadians support the health measures. The U.S. is a different story. There are likely more conservatives in the U.S. who oppose mandates, although I think more are getting vaccinated as they see the writing on the wall. But the U.S. is not Canada and they have a different view of things. One should make it clear if they are talking about Canada or the U.S. because there is a big difference.

Well most classes in the lower grades teachers teach multiply class subjects math , english , etc.... then there is the substitute teacher, they do not know who they are going to be filling in for, or what topic it is. and lets face it, there are specialty teachers, such as Gym teacher, music teacher, French teacher, that does not really need these skills, I would think it would give yourself a greater strength in the old resume if you did have the basic skills. As a parent i would hope when my kids graduated they could read write, do math and science...and someone held my kid accountable to learn it... 4. They are after all taking the same university class as the next guy, one would have to ask why a university student could not do the basics reading, writing, math, English or French. but i guess they are pushing them through if we have to lower standards to include everyone...and i think this was mentions before , do we really think that certain races are not capable of learning math, or the other basics...that sounds a little racist to me, and it discredits those that have already passed or meet the standards, regardless of race or color...I mean they are going to be paid the same right, why not have the same level of education...

None of the draconian carbon taxes that are raising transportation and food costs for workers will make any measurable alteration to climate change. They’re taxes on existence.
