I think everyone felt like an islamic state terrorist could have run for POTUS against Trump and it would have been close, but it's scary to think that Biden won the Dem primary. Their paty is a shambles. Corey Booker is raging tard, AOC is an extreme idiot, Pelosi and Schumer are hacks, Mayor Pete is a whiny loser, Beto is a sideshow freak at best, Kamala has been more of a disaster than poopy Joe... the only decent candidate that they had in the primary last time was Tulsi Gabbard but I don't think she's even a Dem anymore. Newsom was actually a rising star but then he fell from grace to the point where they had a recall in his state. It's bad over there. They need a new star in that party, bigtime. It's hard to come up with a good candidate though, in a party where lying and corruption is always their plan A.2 points

I don’t think I’ve ever hated a politician more than this POS that’s currently PM. Iran loves this policy. Saudi Arabia loves this policy. China loves this policy. Russia loves this policy.2 points

Canada's climatards: "Alberta oil is bad. We need to buy our oil from ethically challenged countries like Saudi Arabia and get it shipped thousands of miles across the Atlantic in supertankers, which are the only oil-bearing vessels which can sail through our tidewaters." Right now the US is begging OPEC to increase oil production because Biden and Trudeau did everything that they could to curtail our energy sectors in NA. In actual fact they're traitors, but leftists are so stupid that they can't get enough virtue signalling, no matter what the topic is or how much it harms our country.2 points

Speaking of governments in Canada spending money like it was growing on trees, I heard Saskatchewan gives fathers four months of paid maternity leave when wives have a baby. Meanwhile the federal government is promising billions of dollars for third world countries to help fight climate change. And some wonder why people are distrustful and dislike governments. Governments in Canada are out of control and spend taxpayer's money like it grows on trees.1 point

Where you stand on any issue depends on where you sit. It is interesting that the British are ruled by a foreign monarch. You never hear them complain about living under a Canadian Queen. By the way, my avatar is one of the designers of the Canadian flag but I forgave him because he is my second cousin.1 point

Only part of the story. We don't have so much of a CO2 emissions problem as a CO2 absorption one. The oceans are THE main sink and store of CO2, but since we have poisoned them so horribly and are killing off plankton at a phenomenal rate of 1% per year, they no longer can absorb the level of CO2 required to maintain a balanced carbon cycle. Most of the anti-CO2 campaign seems to be for the benefit of those who wish to profit from selling cars, etc. that use THE most polluting metal (mining of Lithium) that is insufficient in total know or predicted reserves to put even a small dent in our needs for transportation. The solution is not what the Euro-weenies and looney libs are proposing - to do MORE of the things that are destroying our sustainability but in different ways but to do LESS, MUCH< MUCH LESS of those things. Starting with less pollution of oceans. That, and stop reproducing like rabbits. This is a nice, little sustainable planet - for a couple billion or so people, not 7 and well on the way to 10.1 point

It is not needed it is a nice to have, and at it's price tag to expensive...and i worked 34 years in some of the most hostile work places known to man..., with more than 8 over seas tours in some of the worlds least known vacation spots, Afghanistan, Bosnia, Rwanda, Sinai Desert all quite nice this time of the year or so they say at the recruiting office...., except the few bad guys trying to shoot at you... Thats how i got my "overpaid pension" i worked for that pension. and while it does not compare to the RCMP or Ministers or all the most of the other federal departments.. I do not complain...it was not just given to me because i am good looking, OK maybe it is ... But every Canadian with a grade 12 education can step forward and join, unless of course you don't do so well on the attitude tests, or physical... and if they all live to the end 20 years which = 40 % of the best 5 years or up to 35 years= 70 % of your best 5 years...And while i don't live in trump towers i do better than the average maritimer... You do know that you had the same opportunity as i did, the government does hire Maritimers as well, the military is actually over run with them...The same goes for all those families that have for generations collected welfare, or drawn poggy while earning a 6 figure income doing seasonal fishing...1 point

Sometimes, I feel like I am talking to a fence post. Oil and coal are not the only sources of energy. Western Canada is blessed with enormous riches in uranium. We are in a position to export reactors all over the world which means jobs all over Canada. It means enhanced revenue for the Provincial and Federal Governments. The re-building and electrifying transportation around the world means jobs around the world. Transitioning away from global dependence on coal and oil fuelled energy will extend the supply coal based products and petrochemicals for centuries beyond the current expectations. In the near future, thorium fuelled LFTR reactors, which are already being tested in China, will also come on line. Our solutions are simple. With fighting global warming, stop burning precious coal and oil. Change to something else.1 point

Time to raise the flag. Natives need to smarten up. There is a lot of goodwill out there, which is evaporating the more they keep the constant demanding.1 point

Radical climate change policy is anti-human. We are carbon footprints. We need heat in winter, shelter, food, and reliable means of transportation to our places of employment. Carbon taxes drive up the costs of all those items and are an assault on humanity. Why do you think the US hasn’t implemented carbon taxes? There are millions of climate change zealots who are quite happy to watch humanity live under a form of low emissions subsistence slavery. This movement is real and unfolding before your eyes. Canada’s leadership is in full support.1 point

We are witness to the unraveling of our country. Foreign investment discouraged, an up and coming work force that won't work, and everybody thinking they're a victim. Canada's fucked. It will never be what we have the potential to be. A country of cry-babies. Yes, some my kin have been here for thousands of years, and again, yes, the buffalo are gone. They're not coming back. Get over it.1 point

The problem is that since the Liberals have had years to stack the courts with progressive ideologues the outcome of any such case is fairly obvious.1 point

Case? What case? You don't actually have a right to post on a website. Part of the problem is hysterical people who confuse rights with options. You don't have a right to go into a McDonald's but if you follow whatever rules they lay down, you have the option.1 point
