they don't control the pandemic they control the people2 points

the vaccinated still get sick and still transmit the disease that's what the science says if the vaccinated couldn't get covid, the unvaccinated wouldn't be putting them at risk so either they pose no risk to vaccinated or the vaccinated pose more risk to unvaccinated than the other way around either way, vaccine mandates are anti-science and pro-control2 points

Yeah. What a bunch of Meanwhile normal people like me are just trying to make it to the end of the day and set you people straight, when you come up with these cocamamie ideas. Sorry I think you want to lock everyone up. Goddam antivaxxers don't care. Kill em all, kill em all... Hey maybe we should follow China and put all these people in cages if they don't comply. Would that make you feel safer, Citizen? Probably.2 points

I have to be honest here: I could care less if some of the unvaccinated are going to die or get really sick. But I do care that they are taking away beds and costing me, as a taxpayer, money, by going to the hospital.1 point

Seriously, this is how it works in your book? Someone has done something entirely stupid (your word); they remain in the position of authority without any oversight or accountability; they are free to do whatever they like. And they are expected to do something better this time around, because the accountability starts with the next? Why would they do anything better in this picture? Where is the logic in this? And surely here's what was done (incomplete list above). How can you prove that masking worked, not as a tool in specific situation when necessary and justified, but as a universal panacea, if waves two and three reached all-time highs with full masking in place? How do you know that anything you say makes sense or works in this picture when the conversation is only with yourself, and any fault or failure can be dismissed with ok it was yesterday but we're now so let's just begin all over again.1 point

You are the one that lacks any credibility here period. You still believe in all of this covid bull chit with no end in sight for you. You cannot be reasoned with at all anymore. IMHO, I believe that you have gone crazy in your covid head and you are lost forever. There are so many doctors and nurses out there that are trying to tell fools like you the dangers of anyone taking any of those dangerous experimental covid vaccines. And they should know this as a fact because they are the ones working with patients who have taken their covid vaccine jabs and are the ones that are mostly entering into hospitals in seriously ill conditions. But your love and belief for the lying and fake Canadian media that you believe and trust in are telling you the gawds truth about covid. Just remember that there is no real and honest true media left in Canada anymore because they all have been pretty much bought off and paid for by your dear comrade hero Castro Trudeau. We can thank our lucky stars that we have alternative media websites like Rebel News and so many others out there that truly do give us the other side of the story that the liars in the Canadian bought off and paid for MSM do not want anyone to know or hear about. Only buffoons and idiots listen to the Canadian MSM today. Sadly, Canada has still plenty of those buffoons around. I was born free. I will live free. I will die free. There will be no vaccination jabs in my life. That should be my choice to take it or leave it. It's not for our lying and crummy comrade politicians to dictate to me that I must take their covid jabs or lose all of my rights and freedoms that I once had just two years ago in Canada. I say that there should be more demonstrations in front of all of our hospitals to try and let the people know that if they keep taking these experimental vaccine drugs that they will eventually end up becoming very sick or may die. Let the demonstrations begin. Works for me. ?1 point

Now as to the Southern States vs the Northern States I think the best measure of that would be to use the 4 biggest states. If you judge all the differing factors against each other they pretty much even out by my estimation. North versus South or Left versus Right. Check it out: https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/us The obvious difference ( and leftists, RINOs or CINOs can feel free to stop reading if you're not allowed to know this) would be how the economies have been faring lately. By that measure the 2 largest leftist states (California and New York) are being waxed and wiped off the map recently by the 2 largest Republican states (Texas and Florida.)1 point

That the vaccinated can spread the Covid, you mean? I agree with you that The Lancet has spread some disinformation recently about covid. In particular, concerning the origin of the disease and the effectiveness of Hydroxychloroquine however my impression is you leftists generally consider them credible so how about The Lancet: Transmission of SARS-CoV-2 Delta Variant Among Vaccinated Healthcare Workers, Vietnam I've heard Jabunists try to discredit the above study on the grounds it was done in Vietnam but they're just racial bigots. Here's another interesting one: https://www.reuters.com/article/factcheck-cdc-vaccines-idUSL1N2PB2WH Now that comes from one of those leftist "fact-checking" sites you guys usually enjoy. If you want to call Reuters a disinformation site I won't challenge you but not only do they repeatedly claim the CDC has studies showing vaccinated are as likely to spread the variant as unvaccinated but they link to other leftist media or as you would call them "disinformation sites," claiming the same thing and claiming there is data to support it. Now as to whether or not the asymptomatic can spread the disease there are contradictory studies on that one and claims on whether or not the data is credible - from both sides. I don't know who these guys below are but even if you can find some propagandists like MediaBiasFactCheck to slur them it won't matter. My point is only that there are contradictory studies on the asymptomatic question. Prove that false if you like. Or at least try to without the use of one of your disinformation slur sites: Over half of COVID-19 cases are spread by asymptomatic carriers, CDC study finds1 point

The UK has demonstrated that responsible government balances multiple interests. They figured out that passports would unnecessarily add stress and bureaucracy to daily life and literally push some people into psychologically and sometimes medically destructive situations. For what? To increase vaccination levels a few percent? If we consider our society free and liberal-democratic, such draconian policies have no place in Canada.1 point

Is it said now (2021) or twenty years back (SARS, 2002)? Sure this can go on for- funny- ever, always next time to hold accountable. In place of a grown up intelligent conversation. Nope, zero interest in this old and tired tune. Who spent two decades and countless taxpayer billions so that our great healthcare ended up in a state that can be easily decimated by a long predicted epidemic? Who sang "not a problem for our great system oops"? And how do they look now, with please (scratch that) you mask up and march up and down here and there? Is there a mirror around before embarking on great endeavors of holding accountable, always next time though?1 point

That's inaccurate. When's the last time that you saw a 13 yr old put on a helmet and then keel over, dead? When's the last time that a 13 yr old put on a seatbelt which caused serious heart problems or blood clots? Why is it that medical professionals can instantly proclaim that people died of covid, even if they were already walking on the edge of their grave, but when they die of the vaccines their deaths remain 'under investigation' for months? Why do we hear anecdotes about "a 59 yr-old with no pre-existing conditions who died of covid in England" (which is on a different continent fyi) but not a 13 yr old who died from the vaccine in Detroit, which literally starts exactly where Windsor, Ont ends? Why did all of the liberal politicians in North America do everything that they could to help covid get here, and then all of a sudden go nutso for lockdowns and make covid into a political issue? You can't find an example of a leftist that fought covid before March 16th, but they suddenly claimed it as 'their cause' soon after. Why is that? Why do you accept that? FYI Big Pharma was a trillion dollar/yr industry before covid even started. Ask yourself "Why did Biden and Harris, who were openly skeptical of vaxxes before the election, suddenly hop on board? Why did they go from no-mandates to mandates are the way to go? Why did the vaccine goalposts get moved back from 'herd immunity' to 'no one will get sick', to 'it will keep people out of hospitals' to 'it will stop people from dying' to 'only the elderly with pre-existing co-morbidities are dying'? And now Fauci just went back to 'if we get 97% of people vaxxed we can get herd immunity', how is that a thing? We all know that's just a sales pitch and a lie.1 point

While the pandemic still goes on, unvaccinated people are risk to themselves. They choose not to follow public health guidelines, therefore they're going to be treated differently than the rest of us.1 point

History shows the far left are vastly more murderous than the far right1 point

the vaccinated still spread the disease, you are the one's putting the unvaccinated at risk, not the other way around you can pretend to be pro-science all you want, but y'all are actually just pro-control and disregard science when it doesn't agree with that agenda1 point

CTV and CBC, etc. only give a voice to people who are against these protests. We never get to hear a rational argument from the other side. Instead the trot out extremist nut-jobs to give their crazy point of view, to demonize people like you and me. That is how they shape public opinion, showing people of all different types saying the same things, until you identify with these people, and the message itself. Then the magic bullet enters your brain. Result is what we see before us today. The mad march of the dunderheads, begging, nay demanding to be hooked up to the harness and the yoke, to be led by the nose. And why not. Too stupid for much else...1 point

So many mixed up people in our society on the pandemic issues. Sad really. Many people do not understand and are willing to protest anything even if they are wrong. The solution is not to protest against our hospitals and health care workers who have been sacrificing greatly in the battle to save people's lives.1 point

Health care workers and allied support staff protest outside of hospitals, their workplace, all the time. They do so on behalf of their union, when called upon. Seen it with my own eyes.1 point

Justin Trudeau has promised that if re-elected his party would crack down on protests outside healthcare facilities, as demonstrations denouncing coronavirus-related public health measures have taken place outside hospitals in recent weeks. https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2021/9/13/canada-trudeau-pledges-to-crack-down-on-hospital-protests I am deeply disturbed by anti-vaxxer gatherings outside of hospitals and health care sites in the last few weeks,” Trudeau said. “These people are intimidating our health care heroes and putting Canadians seeking health services at risk. I will not accept this. That’s why we’re going to take strong action to ensure everyone has access to the care they need and keep our front-line health care workers safe.” A series of rallies are expected to take place outside health facilities across Canada on Monday to denounce efforts to stem the spread of the coronavirus, including vaccine mandates1 point

Hospitals are not the place to protest. They block access for staff, patients, and ambulances and intimidate them. Arrest protesters and throw them in jail. Where are the police?1 point
-
? Do you even know who the protestors are? Those rallies are organized by frontline workers & hospital staff who worked through the whole last year of covid and are now facing suspensions/layoffs if they don't get vaccinated: Leftards supported violent riots for half of 2014, all of 2015 and 2016, and half of 2020. Now you're acting like peaceful protests should be illegal. A basic concept of democracy is that you don't allow or disallow peaceful protests based on whether or not you support the cause.1 point

who is attacking the sick people or the health care workers by merely protesting outside a hospital? there is no need to ban them, free speech hater1 point

Which is idiotic, considering people that have recovered from covid have 13 times better immunity than fully vaccinated people.1 point

1) So I heard of Marcuse, and he died in 1979. Wrote about culture I think and critical theory. While influenced by Marx I don't think he was considered a 'Marxist' and died decades before 'woke' came into common use. Gramsci died in the 1930s according to Wikipedia. I never heard of him and his Wikipedia page doesn't mention identity politics or racism at all. I suspect this is just something you read somewhere and not your own ideas. As such, it's likely somebody's attempt to explain away Peterson's ridiculous term or disparage wokism. Weak. 2) Now you are talking about postmodernists that I know a *little* about. His views were highly philosophical and nothing as basic as "wokism" plus he's accused of rationalizing a contemporary who wrote in a Nazi paper, anti-semitism etc. 3) Marxism is dead. If you can't criticize the new 'woke' ethnic without trying to tar it with dead ideologies you are weak. As I said, older Marxists don't buy into this stuff from what I can tell. Chomsky signed the anti-liberalism letter in The Atlantic or Harper's - I forget which. If you want to convince yourself that Marxism is back, go ahead. I don't believe you have enough knowledge of these topics to convey an argument and from the little I know of philosophy, I don't think you are putting together a solid argument. If you still want to fight with me about something, pick another topic... maybe "Be it resolved that Maxime Bernier is leading a successful resurgence of the right" or "Be it resolved that Maxime Bernier's nose doesn't honk when you squeeze it"...1 point

Amazing how quickly they downplay the injuries from vaccines upon citizens, but immediately point to the tragedy of the individual when it comes to death by covid. To me, what you people are doing is totally bizarre. Buncha ###### up, #####bag turd ####### with no mind. Never mind...1 point
