This morning, I left my community of Baltimore, a drug infested area where a lot of the drugs we're talking about today have already taken the lives of so many children... Rep. Elijah Cummings 19993 points

Obama sent US taxpayer money to campaign to oust Israeli PM Netanyahu. Which I’m pretty sure is foreign interference in an election.2 points

He'll also be able to tell you the motivation of each Muslim that does something before any of us are aware of it. I mean that is Uri Gellar level right there.2 points

Anyhoo, the key advantage of the Armalite Rifle and why it is America's choice for the Well Regulated Militia, is that's it's very easy to use and requires minimum training and experience. The 12 gauge slide action shotgun is actually a more devastating weapon, and as you can load shells directly into the breach, the "magazine" capacity is however many shells you can carry on your person, the shotgun however is much harder to master, it's a beast, whereas the AR is point and click.1 point

Good, I hate that shit. So does everyone else I know. Not only is it the cheapest of crap that can be made, it's made by some poor, uneducated sad sack. Production cost, 10 cents, because they don't need to dispose of the waste in a responsible manner. Neither do they need safety standards for their employees. So now, you go on and tell me why I should want to buy that crap, and keep them in business. Go on... Very doubtful and there is no indication of hostility or threats. No need to lose sleep over it. Per your own post, To me that sounds like they had a good meeting and now just need to go home for a while, and talk it over with the big boss. They'll be right back.1 point

Wippee. Considering the alternatives between these two, trade war sounds pretty darn good to me.1 point

Bullshit. They gonna move the Tim Horton's to the Philippines to get workers? Go for it. Free trade and immigration are linked almost as closely as rowboats and elephants.1 point

There is a problem. There are too many strict laws and too many guns who are banned.1 point

This is classic Liberal cos Liberals are now insisting that much of the blame for Trudeau's horrendous India trip wasn't because of Trudeau - oh no, it was Sophie and India's prime ministers fault… Surprised they didn't blame Harper. https://o.canada.com/news/canada/we-walked-into-a-buzzsaw-how-the-most-image-conscious-prime-minister-in-canadian-history-made-himself-look-foolish-in-india/1 point

Bernie and others don't understand the difference between US health care system and Canada health care system. Just look at ICBC, you know it will never fly in US.1 point

If and when Trump gets re-elected it is not even because people would be satisfied with him but because the alternative is far worse. Two too old men one of whom is a creep, two women one of whom thinks she is an indian. Elections are always won on the centre-ground while keeping hold of your core-supporters on either side of the political spectrum.1 point

I still find it entertaining that if you find one Snopes article you quarrel with, the entire site is then deemed as trash. That standard is not the same given to Right-Wing media or Trump.1 point

Trudeau brings a professional camera crew into a gay bar to shake some hands and pretentiosly display his superior virtue, and no mention of the obvious insincere, shallow pandering. Yet this somehow becomes a story about Scheer's apparently flawed moral character.1 point

And like I said, we don't need to. Conservatives are now running things; this is only the beginning. Trump's gonna win, and he knows it. I predict the next US president after Trump will also be Republican, and In Canada, Doug Ford will soon be the PM. Conservatism is on the rise across this great nation. There is no need for us to fire a shot, when we have the authority, and the legal POWER to make sure you people never get the chance to get back in like that again.1 point

There is a bit of truth here. I've shown many times in similar threads how badly Canada lags behind the US in reducing our emissions from refineries. That said, your country's success at reducing its CO2 emission are more a result of local, city and state governments taking action. Almost like sanctuary cities that refuse to get with programs your federal government would prefer to see.1 point

Now that the evidence for climate change is overwhelming, some other reasons for inaction have to be found.1 point
-
So you have lower expectations for your own country, and look to the Americans to provide the leadership. The U.S. has already lowered emissions more than Canada, so it isn't working anyway.1 point
-
So you want the Americans to do the heavy lifting...not China...or India...or Brazil...or the EU. The US is not forcing anybody in North America to fight climate change....people can do it all by themselves if they wish. It is ironic to me that after all the bashing America takes on any number of issues, it is also expected to lead/force climate change action.1 point

Get rid of gasoline (et al) arbitrarily...billions die...simple as that. Better have cold fusion ready to go...heh. Or does one think the excess billions will make a go of it as hunter gatherers?1 point

Someone should mention to Trudeau that Scheer is the leader of the opposition, not Doug Ford. I guess the whole "Scheer is a white supremacist" narrative must not be reverberating the way he had hoped, have to find a new angle.1 point

Why cite, surely you agree the media is often controlled in high profile legal cases. Are there no publication bans? It did seem like information about the Danforth one was being kept out of public view, though we are not always told why. What are we talking about? Whether or not people care more if the shooter was white? A rather macabre and stupid discussion. The poster who raised that question exposed that they judge through these base assertions. I would never even consider it. I assert that most Canadians do not judge such situations by the shooter's skin colour, and will still be just as upset if a little girl is killed, regardless of her skin.1 point

You're still not getting it. This is a matter of a foreigner coming here, saying women here dress like sluts, and then refusing them service on a public bus unless they change their ways to be more in agreement with his people's culture. This is a fairly clear demonstration, in miniature, of what almost everyone opposing mass immigration is afraid of - foreigners wanting to change our culture and values to mirror theirs.1 point

Islam isn't a skin colour. Even those 'white men' you hate so much can be Muslims.1 point
-
Why is it urgent that the US provides the desired leadership compared to another nation ? The US already provides more investment in climate change research/data collection than any other country in the world.1 point

It's not true at all compared to Muslim countries actually when you look at the data.1 point

They so wanted it to be a MAGA hat wearing Trump supporter. Instead they got an Iranian Italian teenager who loves Satan and hates Jews.1 point

The only reason why this trans thing won his/her trans case, in a non real court, is because of the newly brought back British Columbia Human Rights Commission by the communist NDP party in power here in BC that ended up siding with the trans. Having an HRC in control of human rights in any province and be giving the power and authority to trump over other people's politically incorrect rights will always lead to foolish leftist wins for the likes of people like this trans. Too many good non politically correct people have been dealt a dirty blow by that communist HRC outfit. The only reason why Canada and BC and other provinces have laws against discrimination and have an HRC around to fight so called discrimination is because Canada and BC have become leftist liberal and socialist social justice warrior paradises where political correctness can be enforced on anyone from a complaint by the likes of people like this trans that was started by her/him and who are allowed to make frivolous ridiculous problems for other people whom they do not like and can be listened too. This case should have gone nowhere. The woman that lost her business should of had the right to refuse to want to wax this trans balls. The owner was not even trained to do that kind of job demanded by the trans. There were other businesses in the area that would cater to what this trans wanted done on his balls. This is just another disgrace and another deplorable politically correct disaster that has fallen on Canadians as a result of voting for liberals, socialists and communists. A real and true conservative party would never allow or have any HRC courts around. If one has a problem then take it to a real court of law, not a kangaroo court like the HRC outfits who have said in the past that "truth is no defense". WTH.1 point

Would Sadiq Khan say the same if the same happened in London if it were a Muslim? My opinion is nothing. I hold no power in society. Sadiq Khan is the mayor of London.1 point
