I suspect that most Canadians are too dumb to realize that Carney didn't kill the carbon tax.

Canada's food price report 2026

Canada’s Food Price Report 2026 predicts Canadian families will spend up to $994 more on food next year. One-quarter of Canadian households are considered food insecure.

Halifax, Nova Scotia — Canada’s Food Price Report (CFPR) 2026 forecasts that overall food prices will increase by 4% to 6%. The average family of four is expected to spend $17,571.79 on food in 2026, an increase of up to $994.63 from last year. Food prices are 27% higher than they were five years ago. Annual food price increases are currently within the range predicted in the 2025 report (4%), however meat increased at a faster rate than predicted (5% to 7%). Alberta, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Ontario, and Quebec are forecasted to experience food price increases above the national average next year.

10th Liberal to breach conflict of interest laws.

Another Liberal MP has been caught breaking the rules and fined for violating the Conflict of Interest Act, bringing the total number of Trudeau government current and former members found in breach of the Act to a staggering ten, according to a report by Blacklock’s Reporter.

Liberal MP Randeep Sarai was fined $200 for failing to disclose “all relevant information” to the Ethics Commissioner within the 60 days of his appointment as Secretary of State for International Development.

A $200 dollar fine. No wonder Liberals don't take ethics laws seriously. The Liberals have rejected the Conservative proposal to increase the maximum fine to $20 thousand.

Monumnetal breach??? LOL

Where did I say 'monumental' breach?

You responded to my post with your usual downvote. Was Juno News reporting on a valid story? Yes. Were they factually correct? Yes.

So you just don't like the messenger even though they got it right.

I don't like the CBC overall, but I will and have posted their links here because they get it right, sometimes.

Breaching conflict of interest laws?  Not exactly - these are only administrative fines $100-250 for missing deadlines to file your paperwork.

Since enacted in 2006 there have been some 68 fines issued. Mostly to Liberals, 4 cabinet ministers under Harper's watch, twice in Peter McKay's case - and it was Harper's Conservatives who created the Conflict of Interest Act and modern Ethics Commissioner's role and system of fines. These and their Accountability Act were well intended and I'm sure their hearts were in the right place but they're obviously lame in scope and easy to circumvent.

Maybe next time, if at first you don't succeed, try try again.

It’s too bad poll numbers don’t fix problems.  We wouldn’t be waiting 11 years and counting for solutions.

I do not make the polls...they are all by some polling company...and they all seem to indicate the same thing...conservatives are falling behind. I do not make up the numbers...all those polling companies asking Canadians and that is what they all came up with. Arguing with me is useless LOL

Maybe if conservatives had a leader...they would not have blown a 20 point lead last election we wouldn't be waiting 11 years and counting for solutions and to fix things either???

We officially have a globalist banker for PM, no budget officer, no banking fail safes, no limits on spending, no parliamentary approvals on moving money.

And that's with a minority government.  Imagine what he'll do with a majority.

Canada voted in a criminal cartel, not a political party.

Taiwan asks Canada to export oil, calls it a “National Security Issue”

I guess we would have to clear it with our new 'strategic partner' first.

https://www.junonews.com/p/exclusive-taiwan-asks-canada-to-export

It's a pity that our own federal government has been the biggest obstacle to more oil and gas development.

They're both being scammed by Carney.  Just like the Canadian people.

Under the Liberals, our resources will never be developed.  Our taxes will never benefit Canadians at home.  We will continue to crumble.

Canada is lost.

"The 2025 Canadian federal budget (Bill C-15) passed a crucial confidence vote on November 17, 2025, with a  170-168 margin,"

It looks like he would and could do the same thing he is dong now considering the Cons are abstaining LOL

Yup and the conservatives have had 4 elections and 4 leaders to try and overturn them ...but failed each time. Seems Canadians like one more than the other :)

What facts?

You, and a few others on here, are here every day posting that you don't care about deficits, you don't care about budgets, you don't care about policies, you don't care about scandals, corruption and millions going directly into Liberal pockets.  You're going to vote Liberal no matter what they do.  Because Poilievre is ugly.

And you all think this makes you look like intelligent, well-informed voters?
