Is Tim Hortens OK?

perhaps when Tim Horton himself founded it

but after Tim died on the QEW at St Catherine's in his De Tomasso Pantera

and Ron Joyce stole the franchise from Tim's defenceless wife thereafter

I've never had any fealty to it

I've made a point of getting my coffee from McDonald's ever since actually

McDonalds outbid the Tim Hortons, for their contract with the Colombian provider in the early 2010s. So the coffee you drink at McDonalds, was what Tim Hortons used 15 years ago. Now the coffee sucks at Timmy's.

MacDonald's has the better coffee therein

did you know that McDonald's McCafe is also a Canadian invention ?

as it was the CEO of McDonald's Canada whom actually initiated said coffee war against Tim Horton's

I prefer Tim's...for what it's worth. I remember Tim Horton. Good defenceman. I wish I'd seen him in his prime during the '60s.

Love the coffee. The cheese tea biscuits too.

I honestly don't care about Toronto anymore

as it bears little resemblance to Toronto the Good which I arrived at in 1978

in fact, I can't stand Toronto now; since it has become a dystopic hellhole

I can't stand the people who live in Toronto anymore neither ; they are a pestilence

I don't even give a f*ck about the Toronto Maple Leafs anymore

and neither would Tim Horton,

when he realized what a bunch of treasonous leftist kooks were running Toronto & MLSE now

our Canada is gone, and it's never coming back

let it burn in a fire of its own making ; Liberal Party of Canada Post National State

suffering is good for the soul

It certainly has not been easy in 2024, to debate with a bunch of MAGA Hyenas

Name calling demonstrates a lack of ability to engage in intelligent meaningful debate.  It is an admission of failure.

He keeps switching between yardarms and lamp-posts.  Who can stick with such a wishy-washy commander?

the yardarm is an official execution by order of the chain of command

while the lamppost is being hung by an unruly mob incited into a rage

historically, at the downfall of a civilization, you get a bit of both in the mix

either way, rejoice at the coming of the angel of death,

for the Nazarene is the sinner's friend

Naw. I'm no fan of Toronto. But I do want a lake-side retirement cottage here. I'd prefer somewhere on the Okanogan but, the wife simply has to be close to the kids.

Both sound painful but take heart, most army guys (at least those who haven't done the mountaineering course) aren't so good with knots.

the yardarm is a naval execution

the army of course executes by firing squad

with 25 Canadians shot in the Great War

22 for Desertion, 1 for Cowardice, and 2 for Murder

Ya that's nice...and there's a Chinese food place in Guelph that I like. I'd also like to see the Halifax area before I decide. But again...the wife and her Kittens. Maybe they'll all scatter around the globe?

One can only hope...

well you don't want to be right in the Golden Horseshoe anymore

it's pretty much a hellhole along the lake,  all the way from Toronto to St Catherines

it's like one big ghetto now

Mississauga is overrun by immigrants

Brampton is the new Hood

the gangsters are shooting it out in the streets of Hamilton

and St Catherines to Brantford is a junkies paradise

Oakville is swanky, but you'd never be able to afford Oakville, it's like the Beverly Hills of Ontario

He used to be one of the better contributors here, not sure what happened to him today....

We, the willing, led by the unknowing, are doing the impossible for the ungrateful. We have now done so much for so long with so little, we are now capable of doing anything with nothing.

Hence why the army stole the airforce Zap straps... the only way to go....no more knot classes

Everyone else calls them tie-wraps or something else. You just made me realize the 2 main jobs I worked at that only called them zap straps both employed many ex Air Force people.
Even asked an employee once to order more zap straps to dress computers and he came back saying he couldn't find 'such a thing' online. Should've made them all learn to 'lace' cables with waxed string like the phone companies did in my day.
