Some of the excuses I have seen is that A/R 15s make giant wounds or that when he dropped down they used ketchup on his ear. Truth was the AR-15 he used is a cheap one with a red dot with no magnification. There is 0 chance you can make that shot at that distance on purpose. Even if your red dot was dialed in the dot would almost cover Trumps head. Not even your best marksman can make that shot under those conditions. They are more likely to shoot you in the head and kill you than hit your ear. The AR-15 uses a .22 caliber bullet,which is small and doesn't have an explosive charge on them If it hits the fleshy part of your ear it is going to go straight through and not leave a wound cavity much larger than the bullet itself. It was truly was a miracle that he wasn't killed. Quote
