It is hot in Florida in the summer. That's  climate.

Malaysia generally gets heavy rainfall, known as monsoon. That's climate.

2. There is no such thing as a global climate. There are different climates at different parts of the earth. They are known as "climate" because they are prevailing weather conditions in unique areas.

 

3. For the climate to CHANGE, it would have to SNOW in Key West, Fl, EVERY YEAR.

There would have to be monsoons every year until the Sahara  Desert is under water.

Siberia would have to reach high temperatures of 100 degrees in January.

And so forth.

 

4. Humans are ill equipped to even PREDICT THE WEATHER with any accuracy  more than ten days out (and sometimes ten HOURS out) so only a total M0RON can imagine that humans can change the climate.

 

5. Today, THE CLIMATE IS NOT CHANGING. It  likely will be the same in 30 years.  Maybe even 130 years.

FL is underwater, more and more as the climate continues to change and the ocean in FL has hit 100F.

The whole reason why the term Climate Change exists is because the world DIDN'T warm to the point where the poles would melt and Florida would be underwater. (Interestingly enough, a few hundred thousand years ago this land mass now known as Florida WAS underwater.)

When you ask a typical brain dead blue state to define Climate Change, he/she/it goes right to a change in TEMPERATURE.

Excuse me, but climate is defined as prevailing weather conditions in a specific area over a period of time.

The Kalihari Region of Africa gets ZERO rainfall and has ZERO surface water. That's climate.

For that to change, there would have to be monsoon season in that region for several years, flooding everything.

Key West has very mild winters and scorching hot summers. For that climate to change, there would have to be SNOW in the summer.

That is CLIMATE CHANGE.

In 30 or 40 years, hybrids or EVs will be practical. The technology will take at least that long to solve the problems of (a) HEAVY use of fossil fuel electricity to charge them (b) batteries that cost more than the car itself, and (c) EVS that catch fire, killing the driver and passengers.

The internal combustion engine car had many years of development before it became the supreme method of transportation today. There were no government mandates to buy them by a certain year, like this ret@rds in Califagula are doing.

I have done enough research to know that they are practical for myself now. A bit pricey but in most cases, they do the job fine. I do not agree with mandates being as they are expensive and do have a few more issues. Besides some folks need a genuine truck for work and in the winter.. commuting. Back to the point though. I do not do this because of some deep seated need to be a climate change warrior.
