Is Leftism a kind of Religion?

What exactly did I write and then change though?

I'm sure lots remember the gist of it - but it doesn't really matter. The point is you did it, then tried to cover it up when i called you on it. And you know what you did - seriously how pathetic are you exactly? Honestly i never would have thought you were that sad.

And what's your explanation for not covering it up when you did this? I mean in your case no one has to remember what happened they can just go look.

Sure, who needs evidence.

you did this kiddo. And you DID try to cover it up. You're that pathetic

Nobody. They saw what you did, they can see what's still there, they can check the timestamp but at the end of the day the details aren't important to anyone.  The only person who thought this was so important that they should go out of their way to cover up their "big lie" was you.  And that's all people are looking at right now - you're the kind of guy who'd  say something on the internet and then when they get called on it go back and edit it out and pretend they never did.

You're THAT pathetic and now everyone knows :)

I know. But you did. And that's the problem.

Cover up what exactly? You've still never told us what that is and nor has anyone else. I bet your invisible friend knows.

I've said it many times. You falsely pretended to quote me with words i didn't say and then covered it up when you got called on it.

Which is beyond pathetic.

The real problem is that you don't have any actual evidence of who said what and I do.

Called with what though? Nothing but your word for it and some desperate appeal to "everyone else saw it".

In the meantime your words are in a quote box with my name on it. How did you explain that again?

If you go back over all the posts where you've replied to certain posters, you'll find that regardless of how correct you are and how much evidence you provide to prove it to them, some of them will just continue gaslighting you.

They have no shame, and it's not beneath them to falsely accuse you of anything.

Your interaction with those people can never be positive. Their goal is always to drag you down to their level and beat you in the mud-slinging contest.

You're lending legitimacy and credibility to that poster by pretending that they deserve a reply, and it just encourages them to keep coming back and doing their thing.

I honestly don't even understand their life. I can't imagine having a goal of going on the internet and slandering people and lying to them all day. The only thing that makes sense to me now is that some of them are bots or paid shills.

At some point you just have to let toxic people like that go, like Bill Burr did with his religion:

Honestly, I can't even get any leftists here to admit that more people died of covid in 2022 than in any previous year, and I showed them Health Canada's weekly covid death chart 50 times last year, plus an article from The Toronto Star.

If a paper as far left as the Star is saying it, it's obviously not "alt-right disinformation", but leftists CAN NOT acknowledge it. It's like trying to feed lettuce with mustard on it to a cat that just ate a can of tuna.

What exactly is it that prevents a human from taking stock of the truth? What makes them so whacked that they'd rather slander people who tell them the truth than even consider it for one brief second?

It's religion. It's a cult. Nothing else puts people in that frame of mind.

I won't argue that, but I guess that now we have to create a working definition of the term 'vaccine'.

The definition that you get from online searches from places like Merriam Webster and Oxford used to say "providing immunity to a pathogen" but this latest vax sailed so far under that bar that it knocked earthworms up into the air.

Clearly the covid pseudovax isn't something that should be "required" anywhere.

Considering no vaccine is 100%, that definition actually should be changed. The best vaccines offer near immunity, but no vaccine has a 100% success rate.

This is so blatantly stupid.  You basically say that anyone who calls you what you yourself claim to be is a Nazi.

I didn't bother reading your post after this, because it proves you didn't read mine.

I blatantly said the cultural marxism theory is a nazi theory. And while people like Ted Cruz probably aren't nazis, he's still promoting the theory for nazis.

Conservatives have really given up defending their points, all they do is strawman now.

And it's a lie. It's a lie you use to call people nazis' when you're not wanting to say it out right.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cultural_Marxism_conspiracy_theory

"According to Samuel Moyn, "[t]he wider discourse around cultural Marxism today resembles nothing so much as a version of the Jewish Bolshevism myth updated for a new age." Maxime Dafaure likewise states that Cultural Marxism is a contemporary update of antisemitic conspiracy theories, such as the Nazi concept of "Cultural Bolshevism", and is directly associated with the concept of "Jewish Bolshevism".[60]"

Sure - it's a typical lie for you. You obviously do think ted cruz is a nazi but nobody's going to buy that. So you say he's a nazi 'indirectly'

TBH, I think Cruz is just an opportunist. He hates Trump, but he still sucks up to Trump because he thinks it helps his career. I think he feels the same way about nazis. Cruz is extremely well-educated, he knows where the theory comes from and why it's bullshit. But he also knows that there is a growing nazi movement in America, so he figures he can make some money off of them.

Right, but there’s a big difference between:

1) “99.99% effective, polio deaths are unheard of now” and

2) “86.7% of the people who are dying of covid are vaxed, and deaths went up by 30% after the massive vaccination campaign.”

If number 2 is a vaccine, I have a horse cork.

Leftism is a kind of religion because it fits the definition:

"a pursuit or interest to which someone ascribes supreme importance:"

It is also a false religion in the sense it promises utopian results but delivers misery and destruction to society.  That has been the case in many countries where Leftism has been imposed.

the left right spectrum is secularism on the left, religion on the right

the left was towards the Commune, the right was towards God's representative on earth

so if the left has become a religion,

then it's no longer the left anymore

these people would have flipped over to the right therein by definition

"

Socialism fails because it suffers from four fundamental design defects.

First, socialism eradicates private property and markets and thus eliminates rational calculation.

Second, socialism allows soft budgets, so there is no mechanism in place to discard inefficient production methods.

Third, abolishing private property and replacing it by the state distorts the incentives.

Four, the socialist system with its absence of private property and of free markets inhibits the economic coordination of the system of division of labor and capital."

Socialism and the left are not the same thing

for example, classical liberalism is on the left

yet it is antithetical to socialism

Yeah - posting a wikipedia page that doesn't actually address the issue doesn't make your argument.

You either call people a nazi directly or if you think it's going to be hard to sell that you call them a nazi indirectly by claiming they think exactly like  a nazi or that they've elected nazis.  Everyone's a nazi to you except your own tribe - the conservatives, men, whites, definitely the jews, any non-woke media or talk personality, virtualy everyone.

It makes you a bad person. Your hatred and bigotry are  no different than that of the slave owners, or the actual nazis, or the communists during the revolution. It's all about hatred and demanding that "the other" is a lesser, barely-human and there fore deserves to be mistreated. For their own good i suppose.

It's odious.
