You sound so childish.

You are random. Do I tell you anything about how you should live your life? Why do think I would expect anything different from you?

If it's you or them, the truth is equidistant

For instance we should be mad at Canada for coming nowhere near the success of Australia.

Interesting that you mentioned that. The restrictions in Canada are on the same level of draconian as in Australia, population and social factors similar but the results, dramatically different. It tells us that the management is really off, among the worst of the both worlds, intelligent coexistence (none) and strict management (bad).

Ottawa Councilor calls for Federal RCMP intervention

https://montreal.citynews.ca/video/2022/02/02/ottawa-councillor-calls-for-rcmp-intervention/

She said, women are being violently harassed. Seniors are being yelled at.

The chief of Ottawa police said there is no police solution!!!!. So call on the army if you are not capable of enforcing the law and protect the defenseless citizens from this mob.

100% agree, I strongly support your recommendation. It's time for the Canadian Forces to be called in, force these violent people out of the city.

It will do wonders, globally ;)

Be reasonable.

I want to see Trudeau. come out of his hiding spot and explain why he pushed people to lose their jobs and then denied them EI benefits to leave them starving.

Hope Ottawa stays under siege for months and Trudeau is unable to make it Parliament hill.  He does not belong there.

The Chief of police is sending the wrong signal. If you are a strong group of people you can break the law and there is no police solution.

Hi is being realistic.  What do you suggest should happen?

Like making them lose their jobs and denying them benefits after that? That type of care?

If Ottawa police is powerless to deal with the situation and end the illegal occupation and sufferings of Ottawa residents then additional forces from all levels of governments should be called in to enforce the rule of law. I feel thousands of Downtown Ottawa residents are unprotected tonight now that police chief says he is not going to do anything. .

On the news, the Ottawa police are just walking around the protesters in small groups watching them.  They obviously are not doing anything to clear them out.  If they see anybody causing a particular problem they will deal with that, but they obviously have been told to let the protesters be.  The citizens of Ottawa who live or work in the area are getting fed up with the situation as it caused businesses to shut down and the steady honking has kept people awake for days on end.

What is very apparent, is that unlike our media which desperately tries to hide and silence Canadians, the rest of the planet is watching very closely.

Yeah...send in the Army you fascist sons-of-bitches. Prove to everyone who you really are.

Yep.

Go on... make your move.

Trudeau should have thought about that before making stupid unreasonable decisions.

Now he can put all those vulnerable old people in hotels / motels / whatever ; then apologize to them profusely, then apologize to the truckers and all those who lost jobs because of his stubborn stupidity and finally resign.

He can go play golf with O'Tool; I don't care.

Was the pandemic related hardships and loss of jobs only in Canada?

You look at what is done in your country.  Leave the rest alone.  Fix the problem with your backyard and your own job.

In this respect , Trudeau should take the blame.

It was mean of him to deprive people of EI benefits.  He should go......

I was saying it happened in all countries regardless of who was the governor or what form of government they had. I agree that financial support to those who lost their jobs as a result of pandemic should continue.

Do you make any distinction between those losing jobs as a result of disruptions the pandemic caused and those who were forced to lose jobs by government vaccination mandates?   It is two completely different things.

Let's be honest here. The mayor of Ottawa overreacted and shut down the mall.

Now they are refusing to allow a permit for porter potties.

Their strategy appears to be deny basic necessities in hopes they go away. Very Canadian

You still don’t get it.  Our Charter of Rights and Freedoms has been totally violated. Your protections are gone.  The pandemic is being used as an excuse to oppress people. You can’t excuse the government from violating the rights of people you don’t like, because at some point you may need your rights to be protected.  “I may not agree with what you say, but I’ll fight to the death for your right to say it.”

The Brits and most Americans won’t stand for vaccine mandates.  If we accept them we’re less free as citizens to make decisions for ourselves.  This should be obvious. Our persistent mandates make Canada second rate. We must not treat unvaccinated people this way and we must not require that people prove that they are vaccinated to have basic freedoms.  Of course!
