Do you have any information on it? Some stats that show Syrian refugees tend to be more violent?

"One Sunday when I preached on how the Bible does not teach socialism, a woman said to me afterward, “I completely disagree with you.” “Wonderful! What do you disagree with?” She said, “I believe we are our brother’s keeper.” I said, “I completely agree with you. I believe we are, too. The difference with you and me is I believe we are our brother’s keeper, and you believe that the government is our brother’s keeper.” Her mouth fell open, and she walked out without saying another word. Are there so many jobs now because of the unemployment rate improving. Or is it a function of people not wanting to come off CERB? IMO, it is too soon for re-opening the economy. The supports like CERB should continue as long as the lockdown and the lockdown should continue until everyone is vaccinated. People on CERB are doing the right thing. It is the sh--heads who won't get vaccinated who are to blame.
Queenmandy85
Unfortunately, Mr. O'Toole lost some support for the same reason Mr. Sheer did. For Mr. Sheer, it was a question about women's choice and for Mr. O'Toole, it was the questions about gun control and vaccines. He should have been prepared for the question and given an unequivocal, clear decisive answer. It is better to alienate a few supporters with a clear answer they don't like than to alienate a lot of voters by not answering and appearing indecisive. It was the vaccine question that really dogged him. All he needed to say was "all our candidates are fully vaccinated because we don't tolerate stupid people in our caucus. We will use every legal tool at our disposal to vaccinate everyone in Canada." On the gun control question, it never should have been included in the policy book. "We support the ban in place." The one big complaint the average voter has regarding politicians is they are afraid to answer questions clearly.

ironstone
You should read from page 6 on in the link I posted above. I'm talking about those people that do not work most of the time. Able bodied people who don't contribute their fair share to the system. Anyone gainfully employed has little reason to move if they support themselves. I'm fortunate in that I have never been laid off since I started working 38 years ago but it bugs me that a lot of people in this country game the system and only work enough to collect benefits or they won't work at all. And I mean able bodied people, not anyone with disabilities.
Zeitgeist
The Canadian electorate have short attention spans on the whole. Not much digging into issues. Trudeau wins on style and these days it’s about style over substance — and getting stuff. There’s no thought to tomorrow and debt, no hard choices. Come to think of it, have another look at that map. If you exclude the north it's a pretty tiny section of Canada that wanted clown-shoes to lead them. We could kick them out and be proud again easy peasy. We'll keep the North and give them access to more honest media.
