If they do reach the U.S. border how far will they go to stop them.   If any of these people are hurt or killed it will play right into the hands of the Democrats.     What makes these people believe they have a right to invade another country?

and they are being organized

The caravan doesn’t have any single leader but various activists are involved. After it crossed into Mexico, an international group called Sin Fronteras (Without Borders) has been helping it organize. While the Mexican federal police stopped the caravan going over the border bridge, they stood aside as people went over the river. However, the Mexican Interior Ministry issued a news release late Saturday saying that those who crossed the river illegally could be detained and deported.

Many of these people had previously lived in the U.S.  and had been deported, (Wash. Post)  joining the caravan to get back into the U.S.

This is a setup for Trump, a disaster the Democrats are waiting to happen if the military has to do what - water hoses, tear gas?   Trump should call an emergency session to bring them so both parties can discuss it, let the Democrats voice opinions and make suggestions, let's hear if they want to let them all in, and how many more after that.

https://www.frontpagemag.com/fpm/271692/impending-alien-invasion-michael-cutler

On June 11, 2018 Attorney General Jeff Sessions laid out his concerns about the misuse of Political Asylum in prepared remarks he delivered when he addressed the Executive Office for Immigration Review Legal Training Program.

Here is an important excerpt:

The asylum system is being abused to the detriment of the rule of law, sound public policy, and public safety— and to the detriment of people with just claims.  Saying a few simple words—claiming a fear of return—is now transforming a straightforward arrest for illegal entry and immediate return into a prolonged legal process, where an alien may be released from custody into the United States and possibly never show up for an immigration hearing. This is a large part of what has been accurately called, “catch and release”.

Beginning in 2009, more and more aliens who passed an initial USCIS credible fear review were released from custody into the United States pending a full hearing.  Powerful incentives were created for aliens to come here illegally and claim a fear of return. In effect, word spread that by asserting this fear, they could remain in the United States one way or the other. Far too often, that rumor proved to be true.

This is an invasion plain and simple and needs to be dealt as one. This can be considered an act of war by an enemy bound to enter America illegally. The military should be sent to the border and to do whatever it takes to stop this alien invasion by alien invaders to happen. If it is not stopped then how many more of these caravan invasions will happen in the future. It needs to be stopped now or else it will be giving a signal to the rest of the 3rd world that America will do nothing to stop you.

The traitorous demoncrats are responsible for this. They all hate America and support this action being done by these caravan invaders. They appear to want to turn America into a 3rd world hell hole of poverty. There are many Mexican groups in America that want to take the South back from the Americans and hand back over to Mexico.

All I can say for now is thank gawd that Canada is not the one about to be invaded by this caravan. I can see our dear leader standing there at the border handing out free passes to all of them and welcoming them all to Canada. Canada is safe for now because we have America in front of us.

A book written many decades ago called "The Camp of the Saints" is coming true. The invasion of the 3rd world into all Western countries is a reality. It has been going on for decades now with no end in site. Heed the warning from what the book is telling us or else. Just my opinion.

No doubt Trudeau is having invitations printed up, maybe he'll even be at the border handing out vouchers for a year of free living and maybe a bag of this stuff to help smooth things over.    :pot:

Maybe the Americans will simply escort them through the US to the Canadian border...

The Department of Homeland Security confirmed President Donald Trump’s assertion that there are criminals traveling in a migrant caravan bound for the U.S., in a series of Tuesday tweets.

Guess who said this in 2006:

"We are a generous and welcoming people, but those who enter our country illegally, and those who employ them, disrespect the rule of law.

"And because we live in an age where terrorists are challenging our borders we simply cannot allow people to pour into the U.S. undetected, undocumented and unchecked.

"Americans are right to demand better border security and better enforcement of immigration law."

It's this rhetoric that appears to have set off the Pittsburgh shooter. Lou Dobbs was recently spreading unhinged conspiracy theories that the "Soros-controlled State department" is orchestrating the caravan. It's the same old anti-Semitic ZOG BS, completely manufactured for the midterms, and very, very irresponsible.

Obama said that in 2005 actually

Meanwhile they are refusing Mexico's offer of asylum  but I'm not sure all of this is going to give their children a better life as these thousands of people have openly stated they intend to break U.S. law to invade that country.

Personally I favour legal immigration but according to Pew Research, in 2015 there  more than 30 million legal immigrants in the U.S. which is higher than the population of Texas.   Legal immigration makes the country stronger and it is a lie to say people who oppose illegal migrants also oppose legal immigration.  Most people do not fit into the nasty stereotypes that the left uses to smear people with who don't think the same as they do.    Neither do the vast majority of Americans fit the left wing narratives and only want a functional immigration system that reflects U.S.  values.

This isn't going to end well, a child has been abducted so organizers are urging them to rest.

Yes. It is a dilemma the West needs to solve if it is to survive. The thousands will become tens and hundreds of thousands, and then millions and tens of millions.

Europe lies next door to a continent whose population will double to 2.5 billion by 2050, rising to an eye-popping 4.5 billion by 2100. This is the continent likely to suffer the most from climate change, already afflicted with desertification, and always prone to drought. It’s poor and corrupt. Its governance is broadly appalling. And most Africans have mobiles, connecting them to promised lands where life isn’t quite so nasty, brutish and short. For the US, that surge of Hondurans is a wavelet in an incoming tide; for Europe, 2015 was mere prelude.

Millions if not billions of decent, ordinary people in need of food, clean water, shelter and medical care are bound to constitute a form of moral blackmail. They will all have heartbreaking stories. And if we continue to confront the issue as a question of sympathy rather than existential self-interest, they will nearly all get in.

Thomas Friedman has astutely characterised the West vs the rest as order vs disorder. But with over-stressed welfare systems, accelerating cultural upheaval and rising right-wing militancy, the lands of order can slide to chaos themselves. If in the next few decades we’re looking at migration on the scale I think we are, we may be required to develop a hard heart, or simply surrender to forces larger than we can control. I’m not sure which is worse.

Where is the journalistic curiosity into the funding for the "Caravan"?

Who funds the needs of 7000 Folks who Spontaneously all decided to go on a march of some 1500 Miles..? Food, Water, Footwear, Bedding, BackPacks, Medical Supplies, the flatbed trucks that seem to be ubiquitous and a myriad of other costs - a trip that should take some 60-70 days by the mostly young males and all arriving just in time for the mid-term Elections? What an amazing coincidence that is! Astounding actually! And not one MSM outlet has questions as to how, why & who funds this? You have to go to the "outlier" news outlets to find out.

I try not to sound condescending or arrogant or belittling the problem of the caravan but I can't help thinking that if Europe had a problem of 7000 people trying to enter Europe illegally it would be just wonderful as that is the number who get in like every week if not day.

However, I do understand that when it is only 7000 people you get told that c'mon it is only 7000 people but if you cave in this time there will be a next time and the number will be much bigger.

It's astonishing how people can be so struck by fear by a political showman who admits he's a compulsive liar.

It's clear they're plan is to present themselves at an entry point, they're being closely tracked. To think, as soon as they get to the border thousands of people will cross swim across the Rio Grande and not be detected is laughable.

That number seems to have grown to over 10,000. And I have a feeling this is just the start of massive waves of people trying to enter the USA via their south border.

So what is causing the identical fear from irregular crossings into Canada ?    It is not Trump....

Cite an comparable level of fear. People fleeing the US into Canada because they fear ICE is financial inconvenience but it's certainly not causing widespread panic like this Caravan seems to be causing.

Like, the military, really? More troops at the border than in Afghanistan?

Such fear was evident in Canadian media and politics long before this caravan to the U.S. border, to the point of mocking derision for the very term "irregular crossing" instead of illegal.
