The thousands of troops deployed to the southern U.S. border will most likely spend Thanksgiving setting up camp and eating prepackaged meals instead of being able to return to their families.

But they had to be there before last week so President Hairpiece could jin up the fear or racists.

Sure they're an clear and present danger to Western Democracy. 

They're also still several hundred kilometres away from the border and yet you have troops sitting there eating MREs for a month in tents, missing Thanksgiving with their families, all because Trump had to have them there for the Mid-terms.

Hey if they want to ban people being able to seek asylum the GOP had two years of absolute rule, in which they could have accomplished just that.

All I'm saying is the reaction to this Caravan is a political stunt. If you notice Trump isn't talking about it anymore. He's on to French Wine Tariffs and avoiding the Rain.

It isn't a threat per se...other than it being 90% young men with limited skills, education and such. But if you just let this caravan in thinking it a one-off...you're in for a surprise when the million strong one arrives on your front door demanding entrance to your homes.

Let's just say that's true. Then appearing at the border, claiming asylum would cause them to be turned right around and sent in the other direction. 

Now if they plan to cross the border illegally, then travelling with a well publicized Caravan, that's being tracked, isn't the most sensible way to do so. 

I'm sure they can find their way in the US the same way drug runners do.

Reports from the caravan said one objective is to simply get close enough so that Coyote Services can smuggle these illegal invaders across the US border if they're not let-in unconditionally. Seeing they are penniless and jobless...one has to wonder who will be paying Coyotes the $2k US+ charge per criminal invader.
