Why didn't Canada stopped America from invading Iraq?

But weren't they angry about that? The can find their will through that....

And even today, they are still angry.....

Agreed...they were very angry about the invasion of Iraq, but there was no political will or military capability to do anything about it.   Canada did not even try to get the UN General Assembly to pass a resolution to stop the invasion, mostly because Canada is very dependent on exports to the United States.

Chretien basically said that he hoped the "Coalition of the Willing" would win, since they're our allies, but that Canada didn't want to participate in the war in Iraq because the reasons to invade Iraq were dubious.  Canada was right.

Chretien was more than happy to support the invasion of Iraq in 2003 if the UNSC authorized the use of force.    Canada still provided material support to the war.

They had no military power to do so is the real answer. America spends more on the military than the next 10 largest nations combined.

Canadians are not low iq enough to support a senseless war. Its not our job to stop the Americans from being stupid.

The only thing the world can or could do to stop America, is what they have done, get America in a protracted military conflict with locals.

So...... get America in a protracted military conflict......... and when that happens, America will be gone and everything will be happy?

No...the Americans have only grown stronger with additional military conflict(s).

The USA was born with war, expanded with war, and is now the world's lone military superpower.

C’mon, Iraq was a mess.  You can draw a direct line between countries having to accept hundreds of thousands of refugees and the war in Iraq, which, along with pro Shiite support in Iraq, spawned ISIS.  Countries like Canada are now dealing with that fallout.  The US has turned its back to some extent.

Canada is a minor player with no national interests in the region besides more oil services contracts and SNC-Lavalin bribes.

Nobody is forcing Canada to take in more Syrian refugees except Justin Trudeau.

So why didn't Canada stop America then?

Actually accepting legitimate refugees is a good thing to do as long as the country can afford it, which it can.  So can America.
