Me too. Clinton says whatever people want to hear and her opinions change with the times whereas Sanders has been speaking his mind consistently for all these year, popular opinion or not.

Sanders does speak his mind, but the fact that he calls himself a Socialist should make voters very wary.

You can't make your billionaire self and regular joe both happy on every issue. US conservatives always say they want a Reagan. Trump ain't Reagan, he's Reagan's rich obnoxious narcissistic uncle. Good enough for some people I guess.

Trump is a billionaire, but we shouldn't forget that Hillary and Bill are also extremely wealthy thanks largely to political connections and their use of capitalism for themselves.

Don't forget the trading of political favours in return for bribes donations to the Clinton Foundation.

No, it's not a trick question.

Standing around the Christmas tree, I was forced to answer this question.

OK, who will win the US Presidency: Gandh(Mahatma) or Clinton(Hilary)??

In a fair fight, who would win a fist fight : Steven Seagal or Jesus Christ?

Gawd knows.

I was not forced to choose between Hillary and Donald. Worse, I (a Canadian) was forced to say what American voters would choose between these two people in November 2016 if this were the final choice.

I went with Donald. But gawd knows.

Donald is sort of a scoundrel with a big ego and some sort of charisma that may bamboozle enough Americans. I don't really care for his politics, there are at least 3 other Reps I'd rather see best Hilary. But at the end of the day, at least Donald could run the country far better than Obama has done. And he's not a politician, which is a breath of fresh air for many.

With each passing day (Paris, Sweden, Germany etc), It gets harder and harder to deny what Trump is saying.

Does it get any easier figuring out how to live with the fact most of what he's saying can't be done? Or shouldn't be done?

Clinton seems very oily and greasy, and the stories of how much money were given to Bill and the Clinton foundation by companies and nations who were doing business with Hillary make me extremely uncomfortable, as does how sanguine she seems to be about her husband's infidelities and allegations of rape.

But, you can't claim that Hillary scores very high on the "emotional stability scale" either.

Why not? I haven't seen any sign of emotional instability in her. If anything, she's a cold assed calculating machine.

Because God knows we don't want someone with any experience running government....

Maybe he does, but he also strikes me as a bull in a China shop, and a guy way more likely to decide to nuke someone than Clinton ever would.

It's Trump's philosophy to use money and influence more than military might when dealing with other nations. He's said a number of times that the USA should have stayed out of Iraq and Afghanistan and used the money more wisely. You people that think Trump is some war monger simply heven't been listening.

I'm interested in who they are going to pick for VP, it may make or break the two leaders as Prez.

Asuming that Donald Trump is the Republican candidate for president and Hillary Clinton is the Democratic candidate, it is hard to imagine a VP candidate. It's like a NASA telescope detecting a flashlight beside a Red Giant 3 gazillion light years away.

Nevertheless, you may have a point, Topaz. As in 1976 when Reagan chose a Connecticut RINO, Trump - in his selection of VP - might want to appear to appease.

I'm still hoping for Bernie Sanders. Anything else results in more nonsense.

Let's form a 'we heart Bernie' support group.

But unless the NRA lovin, fossil fuel supportin, warmongering congress changes, Bush&Cheney are right - nothing will change.

I would love to see a woman lead the most powerful nation in the world, but Hillary Clinton is just so sleezy.

Conversely, Bernie Sanders is the most refreshing thing I have seen in politics in my *entire* life. I can't think of one single politician who has so much sincerity and conviction as Bernie Sanders. Not in Canada, not in the US, nowhere.

He's in a class of his own.
