  1. It's all a Democrat conspiracy! The super-ethical GOP are the victims here!
  2. Its official: through their magic wands Biden and Trump control the US and global economy LOL
  3. This somehow makes Trump's coup attempt ok? Trump's was also illegal. I'm eagerly awaiting the trial sentencing from his guilty verdicts. He should be in jail within a year or 2.
  4. Taking it in the rear-end? Canadians have so often been bottom-b*tches and the say "sorry" after getting slapped around, and then brag about being "nice". Yeah it's easy to be called "nice" when everyone pushed you around. Doesn't mean its good though.
  5. If Trump wins he may get sentenced for one of his current criminal cases while in the White House hahaha. Sorry I don't get the jokes about the incest and cum stains. Don't quit your day-job (toilet cleaner).
  6. So even if what you're saying is true, you're willing support a man who attempted an illegal coup he'll probably still serve jailtime for and risk turning the US into a banana republic in order to lower inflation a bit?
  7. Donald Trump is garbage. If you enthusiastically support him that also makes you garbage. Not as much garbage as him because he's obviously duped you, but Trump supporters are also responsible for their own thoughts and actions. I honestly believe most of the Jan 6 rioters were, at the time, patriots and they themselves believed they were patriots because they truly believed the election was stolen because they believed Trump's lies. if you still believe the lies today you're either naive and lack critical thinking or you know he's lying and are spreading con job because like Trump you value winning over democracy. That's pure evil. Trump is evil. He values his own power and ego over democracy. If you don't realize that then i'm sorry but unfortunately you're not very smart. I have a few blue collar working class conservative relatives and they aren't well-educated and didn't even finish high school but they're ethical people and they have enough common sense to know a con-job and a dangerous politician when they see one. Wake up America.
  8. Every government official from China should be banned from the country. If this doesn't fix the problem then only Canadian-born people should be able to run for political office because they're far less able to be compromised and blackmailed than those who have close family and other interests overseas. The lack of honour in our officials is insane. If a politician or any government employee gets threatened or had attempts at bribery on them they should all be making a bee-line to the RCMP immediately. The fact that Trudeau and his PMO has been sitting on all of these names and info and never even did an investigation on it until it was leaked is disgusting. Thankfully we have some patriots in CSIS and elsewhere to blow the whistle. Trudeau needs to resign ASAP, he's a disgrace. Same with anyone else who sat on this info.
  9. If you vote for Trump, fine. If you actively support and like the guy you're either garbage or you're incredibly naive and not intelligent enough to realize he's conned you and all his other supporters. The belief that Trump won the last election is a fraudulent lie based on nothing but faith and not evidence. It's a conspiracy theory without evidence. It's like believing in Adam and Eve. It's BS. The conservative-dominated supreme court even rejected the court cases on the stolen election. Trump lost and his ego couldn't handle that. Denial is a great coping mechanism. Also PM me I have some miracle tonic to sell you.
  10. 2. Why do you constantly repeat this whattaboutism? It's a red herring logical fallacy. This is like arguing that climate change is a more important than economic issues therefore let's stop talking about economic issues. Inflation and debt problems in the US isn't a valid reason to ignore the rise of racism and decline in race relations in the US. They're both problems and both need to both be solved. Anyone who says rising multiculturalism won't cause social instability is wrong. Period. The evidence is so overwhelming, both now and through history, its not refutable. 3. Ok? Sounds like another whattaboutism. Comfort and convenience are not the most important values in life. People are getting lazier and more selfish, we seem to agree on this. 4. Exactly. These progressive values will go the way of the dodo bird because the people who believe them will cease to exist and pass on their ideas. I'd prefer we realize how bad these ideas are before we go extinct. No different than climate change. Call me a birth-rate alarmist LOL 5. Young men are getting red-pilled and turning to men's rights, Donald Trump, Jordan Peterson and the like. Some progressive ideas, like some aspects of feminism that are anti-masculinity or even anti-male, or woke hiring policies that's leaving them out of the job market, isn't working for them. 6. Sure, seems pretty vague though. Not much in terms of actionable solutions there.
  11. Some people also want power or material wealth and other self-interested things and will do unethical things for it.
  12. @Michael Hardner Heard this quote today, thought of you regarding Trudeau and this interference: "Never attribute to malice that which can be adequately explained by incompetence." But...I guess we'll see. We're talking about politicians here 🙂
  13. 4 politicians have been named. I think 3 Liberal politicians (including 1 independent Senator nominated by Trudeau) and 1 Conservative Senator. Some info about the CPC leadership race as well.
  14. I'll try to make this replies more concise. 1. I don't think the human race will go extinct either. My point is it will if trends don't reverse (which they will, or technology will change, e.g., vastly enhanced life expectancy from stem cells or who knows what - but we're playing God again). I do think western societies are under threat of disappearing culturally. e.g. Italy won't be very "Italian" anymore etc. Ethnic Italians are going to become a minority in their own country after enough decades. The odds this will also cause social and political schisms is 100%, and we're seeing it already. 2. You could do it, you just don't want to. This is a choice. 3. Is this any different than how western societies were 150 years ago? Poorer, lower life expectancy, infant mortality etc? But the population in society was self-sustaining and actually grew. 4. Yes. My concern is society. 5. My grandad was in the military. They give you a card you can show to get personal discounts on hotels, restaurants, flights, insurance etc for the businesses that offer them. He always refused to take any of these discounts because he said he didn't serve to get benefits and nobody owned him anything, he wanted to serve his country. He had a sense of duty and honour. Of course not everyone is like this, but I think this was more common in past times. 6. Things were much more difficult economically for the vast majority of human history. The most economically well-off societies in human history don't want to have children. Think about that. 7. Agree. Selfish short-term thinking. 8. "Pursuit of happiness" is subjective. For most it used to mean having a job, a home, a spouse and a family. 9. The new messiahs, prophets, and preachers. Now they're thought leaders as you say. Feminist thinkers through the decades have influenced a lot of women. Now we're seeing the male version of that, like Peterson, which is interesting. Feminism? Nothing is more female and feminine than child-bearing & child-raising. Maybe future feminists will start valuing that more. 10. Progressive vs conservative isn't much different than Catholic vs Protestant. Heretics will be burned at the stake. "I'm progressive, I can't marry a conservative!". 11. Yeah Peterson has been getting worse. He's doing more of what you don't like, which is being a kooky arse. His tweets are bad. More and more young people seem to be rejecting social leftism and are looking for something else, sometimes a return to old values. It's just like religion. Your teachers and media brainwash you into a certain way of thinking growing up and then when you get older you realize you've been duped and start rejecting it. I'm sorry that you're devout Christian and this may offend you 😂. Call me a Nazi (Satan worshipper).
  15. 1. Roughly half of all countries have birth rates above replacement levels. We're the global leaders and thought leaders of this problem. If the problem isn't solved the human race will go extinct. 2. You work for a bank and I think your wife is a teacher. You could make sacrifices necessary if you wanted to have more kids. Move cities, live in a cheaper area and have a longer commute, buy a used car, buy used everything. People used to do this. Economics is an excuse. People in sub-saharan Africa are poor, but their societies will outlive ours a the current rate. Darwinism: adapt or die. People want to have 1 or 2 kids max, or none at all. That makes sense. But having 2 kids isn't enough to sustain any society or species on the planet now or through history. We need to have these conversations. Adapt or die. 4. Sure, but don't and shouldn't force anyone. 5. Cops and soldiers choose hard lives out of a sense of duty to their societies. Nobody thinks like this now. No sense of honour and duty. Military recruitment in Canada is at crisis low levels. "What's in it for me?". Softy parents have raised spoiled and entitled adults. It's also another consequence of low birth rates. 6. Bullsh!t. People want to maintain a certain standard of living and aren't willing to make the sacrifices. 7. Bonkers is fighting for massive unprecedented changes in society and not bothering to think of the consequences of those changes. We've done this with a lot of technology. You can't un-invent social media, but people can stop using it so much. 8. Yes its all Thomas Jefferson's fault even though the trends only started in the 1960's. 9. You're right, there's lots of blame to go around. And solutions are better than blame. The first step is reject bad ideas. 10. Our moral leadership used to come from the church. Then the 1960's came and we all wanted to have sex before marriage, birth control, abortions, divorces, so we rejected the morals of the church and forged our own path into the great unknown, rejecting thousands of years of morals that weren't perfect but worked well enough to help us become the most successful societies in the world. Oops. Christianity has been replaced by progressivism. Be kind to everyone, help the weak and the poor, non-violence, social justice etc. But now with more premarital sex and abortions! If we rejected the "bad ideas" contained in Christianity we can reject the bad ideas contained in progressive ideology (including woke nonsense hehe). Join the choir. I'm the new Martin Luther, a pariah who will be scorned by the dogmatic progressive/feminist zealots, the pro-choicers etc, and will get fired from my job for speaking publicly about this or that. Nailed to a cross. I don't want to ban abortion. I want people to stop choosing abortions and take responsibility for their actions. Women have done well the last 60 years. Has anyone bothered to ask how the children have been doing? I'm also not saying reject all progressive ideas and values, just the specific ideas i've laid out that are harmful. We did the same with Christianity. I don't want to roll back civil rights for ethnic minorities or stop giving the poor free dental care. Live with compassion, with both rights and responsibilities, with a sense of duty and honour (including among our politicians), and prioritizing love and family over material comforts.
  16. I'm trying to save our country from those that wish to harm us. Bad actors both foreign and domestic. This includes some of our politicians. I'm trying to save our society, our culture, our civilization from the threats that endanger it. This includes some of our politicians, whether they even realize it or not. Why are you getting in my way? Forget all the bullsh!t you've been brainwashed with for your entire life and grab a keyboard and join the fight my brother. If you don't want to fine, then just move out of my way and make way for someone who will. You're definitely not going to stop me from trying. You're a submissive person. You do not rebel. You don't like upsetting anyone, and everyone likes you. You've drank the progressive and woke kool-aid. I don't care if that hurts your feelings. I'm not submissive. I fight. And i'm ready to offend a lot of people if that means they're told the truth. Our society depends on it.
  17. 1. Do you agree or disagree that declining birth rates are an existential threat to western civilization? And sure in other countries too who believe as we do. If you disagree, explain. Because the trends are clear. Unless birthrates reverse western civilization will cease to exist. We're importing people from other civilizations and cultures to replace us. We're on the path towards literal extinction and I see no reason why the trends would reverse. In fact they're getting worse. I don't hate immigrants, I have many immigrant friends, this is not their fault, this is a self-made problem. Lowering immigration won't fix declining birth rates. If immigration was lowered to zero the population of Canada would become zero after several generations unless trends reversed. Do you deny this fact? 2. Christian bible-thumpers warned us of the dangers of divorce rates, the dangers of birth control. They told us birth control was immoral and unnatural. There's certain cases where divorce and birth control is appropriate obviously, but they were right. We went too far, we didn't listen. We wanted our sex and our freedom and look at society now. Broken families and lonely people. If you don't have children who is going to look after you when you're old? The state? The state doesn't love you. Some PSW's might care, but they don't love you. And they won't look after your finances. You go to a poor country and the elderly live with their children, everyone looks after each other. They don't send kids to daycare, they stay home and raise them, the elderly live with them and help look after the kids. We live in a sick, selfish society. We send our parents to retirement homes and our children to daycare and go to work so we can make more money and go on our vacations and "live out our career dreams". Our selfishness has eroded the family unit. Capitalism existed before the 1960's. Feminism caused this. The sexual revolution caused this. Progressives caused this. The Christian conservative bible-thumpers were right. Or at least more right than the swinging 60's and 70's progressives like yourself. We've been sold a poorly thought-out ideology focused on short-term selfishness and completely oblivious to the longterm consequences and how it would affect our children, our parents, and our society. 3. Do you think having kids was any more stressful or expensive during the 1930's. It's nonsense. It's an excuse. People did what they can and got buy. Now people would rather drive a new car than pay for a child? It's called love. it's priceless, and we're deficient in it. There's like 8 total people at my largest family get-togethers. It's depressing. 4. If every country in the world followed our lead on birth rates the human race would go extinct eventually. You realize this right? Suicidal death cult. Free abortions for Africa. 5. You can't fix it with policy. It wasn't caused by policy (well, in China it was). You can't force people to have children, that's immoral and something akin to The Handmaid's Tale. This is an ideology. A way of thinking. This is a choice individuals and families make by free will. They have been sold these ideas by feminists. They've been told that having a career is as or more important than raising a family. It isn't. NOTHING is more important than family. You're right that capitalism plays a role here, but it still comes down to choice. It now takes 2 incomes to own a house and raise a family when it used to take 1 income. Did anyone think about this 40-50 years ago when we were telling women they should enter the workforce and stop staying at home to raise a family? Progressives can be quite foolish, because social change has consequences. You need to look before you leap or you could dive into some rocks.
  18. 3. Social change is a choice. It's based on our beliefs of right and wrong. Collective morality, but each decision is made by the individual. Having a career instead of having children is not a collective choice, its made one couple and one woman at a time. As I originally stated, not all aspects of progressive morality or feminism is bad. But a bunch of it is, and its destroying western civilization. Prove me wrong. 4. My arguments are well thought-out, not based on blind stupid anger and ignorance. I think a lot about these issues. I'm not a chud. Trudeau makes me mad. That's because he's been harming this country for a decade, not because he crosses his legs when he sits down. 5. I'm a proud Canadian and won't apologize for it. I'm not ashamed to be white, I don't feel guilty for being white in any way whatsoever. White people have done many bad things in history. But compared to who? Are Africans and Arabs and Asians or first nations any better either now or through history? It's fine to criticize "white people" for past wrongs, but if e.g. an African-American thinks we're some unique evil to be resented then go look at sub-saharan Africa right now and see how they treat each other. And maybe ask why west Africans invaded nearby villages and kidnapped their men and women and sold them into slavery to the white man. Ask an indigenous person why indigenous men are raping and killing so many indigenous women. Is that all the white man's fault. No. This whole leftwing oppressor-victim ideology is toxic. This rant would get me fired today. #woke #PC #doublestandards #whiteguilt 6. Ok great. Our leadership right now sucks. What's the problem then? The visa removals were a bad policy. Prove me wrong. Stop looking for excuses. Trudeau isn't just a bad policy maker, he's also a bad person. A selfish and corrupt and unethical person. Just like Donald Trump is. It's ok to say these things. It's ok to be angry at unethical leaders damaging our countries. This is the place to express those feelings.
  19. 1. I'm calling a spade a spade. I'm the George Carlin of MLW haha 2. Ok. 3. Ok. How does this make removing the visas not terrible policy? Harper put the visas on, Trudeau took them off. I don't see how NAFTA comes in to the equation here and all you've said are vague references to NAFTA that I still don't see the relevance of to visas being added or removed as a general policy. All I see is me criticizing a Liberal immigration policy and you not being able to handle it (yet again) for some strange reason and then blaming it on "me just hating Trudeau". This is a weak argument. 4. Show me how my argument about the visas is deficient. I'm still waiting. It's me "just hating on Trudeau" or "people blaming immigrants for all our problems". Do you hear yourself? 5. Harper inherited the no-visa policy from the Martin/Chretien gov. I just explained this to you and provided the link. Then a few years into office the CPC saw that a whole bunch of Mexicans were using it to come here and overstay their visits or make bogus asylum claims so in 2009 he out the visa requirement in. Nuff said. Saying "Why did Harper have it during his gov" means you're not even reading my replies and the links I send or you're engaging in a bad faith argument and are being manipulative. So which is it? If you won't even acknowledge the facts or read my replies how am I supposed to have a discussion with you? It's like you only read what you want to believe and ignore the rest. That's on you. I think you're afraid of reality and live in your own little safe cocoon world. This isn't the way to solve problems. Do you find this insulting? It's what I think is the truth. Truth is more important than people's feelings. 6. Someone makes an argument criticizing immigration and your first reaction is that they're just being racist or they just hate Trudeau. No actually sometimes the policies are just bad. 7. I don't care. 8. No not probably. Our government is run like crap. Maybe some of that has to do with the fact that they best people aren't being put in cabinet positions to run the departments of our country? Have a va.gina? Here's an important cabinet portfolio for you! Not a good way to run an organization 40 million people depend on. 9. No idea, haven't really noticed. I don't watch his campaign stops. 10. Are you seriously trying to argue that PP hiring decisions and whatnot are as "woke" as Trudeau's? I find this doubtful and a false equivalency. If he does end up doing the same thing as Trudeau i'll be raking him over the coals for it when he's PM, you can bet on that.
  20. 1. It's called feminism. I grew up thinking the Christian religious folks saying birth control and divorce were bad were a bunch of nutters. I spent decades fighting against their nonsense for women's rights and the like. Well 60 years later we can look at the state of society and it looks like they had some really good points. That's not to say all feminism is bad, or birth control and divorce is always wrong. But we've just took it to an extreme because of "our rights". We threw our responsibilities in the trash because we're selfish and lazy. 2. People in our society who don't have kids argue it's because the economy is so tough and they can't afford it. This is total nonsense because the poorest countries in the world have the highest birth rates and the richest countries in the world have the lowest and its been this way for decades. It's a choice. Taking the pill is a choice. They don't want children. Women want fulfilling careers etc. That's understandable but no society can survive with longterm birth rates below replacement levels. We're now important people from countries that do have high birth rates in order to sustain our economies. If every country in the world made the choices western countries do the human population would go extinct unless birth rate trends reversed. But why would they? The trends have been the same for 50 years with no sign of reversing. This part of feminism is a cancer on our society. It feels good to support women to feel empowered with careers and shove our kids in daycare to be raised by strangers but if its at the expense of the death of our civilization then its a suicidal death cult.
  21. @Michael Hardner said: I want to open-mouth kiss you while fingering your stink hole. But sincerely, thanks for the compliments. I don't think you fully realize what's happening to our society. The threat that leftism is socially and culturally, and what is taking hold, slowly, over many decades. This goes far beyond "wokeness" or what race the actress in The Little Mermaid remake is. It is an ideology that's a suicidal death cult. It is the Jimmy Carter's and Neville Chamberlain's of the world taking the reigns and leading us into battle. The progressives criticize the patriarchy, and sometimes with good reason, but nobody messed with Winston Churchill or Dwight Eisenhower. The progressives brainwashed me into their belief system growing up. It took me decades but I've broken out of it. Free your mind Michael. I'm trying to make you see the light. In a world filled with wolves, nice guys finish last. You're far too indoctrinated and compliant to ever get it though. Oh well. You need a strong assertive "masculine" type to defend a country. It doesn't have to be a man (see Margaret Thatcher). Trudeau behaves like a woman (feminine). Putin would eat him alive. Let's stop worrying about everyone's feelings and call a spade a spade. Truth > feelings. At some point we have to stand up for ourselves and take pride in who we are. The left is much too crippled with guilt to do that.
  22. @Michael Hardner said: 1. What do you mean by Harper had done the same thing? Can you provide a cite? Harper put the visa requirement in place in 2009 because of all the bogus asylum claims from Mexican travelers here. The Mexico government were PO'd. Boo-hoo, go cry in the corner Mexico. If you don't want a visa requirement then make your citizens stop trying to take advantage of our border and migration system. They also overstay their visits and just "disappear". I've met some myself. I didn't report them to the authorities because they seemed like nice people. Maybe I should have, I dunno. They're criminals committing fraud and breaking the law after all. https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/stephen-harper-won-t-drop-visa-rule-for-mexicans-source-says-1.2538820 2. Progressives are softies. You're a softy. The Liberal government are softies. People who are too "nice" and afraid they might "hurt someone's feelings" or "offend someone". The Liberals (and NDP) aren't tough enough to defend the security of this country from threats. It's harming the country. Ask Jimmy Carter. Jimmy Carter is a kind man who should be serving food at homeless shelters instead of making decisions on military and foreign policy. I consider you like a Jimmy Carter. "Every virtue, when taken to an extreme, becomes a vice". Remember this always. It takes courage to risk offending people in order to do the right thing. 3. No I look at a gazillion terrible policies Trudeau has made, look at all his unethical actions as Prime Minister, and conclude the man is a bad PM and an unethical public servant who's mainly only in it for himself, his power, the public attention etc. He's the progressive version of Donald Trump (minus the Jan 6). Harper gov did have a visa requirement. They're the ones who put it in place in 2009. The Liberals took it off as soon as they became elected. Why? I don't know, but they weren't doing it to protect our national interests. Then they just reversed it for the very same reason the Harper gov originally put it in place. 😂 So yeah they're du mb incompetent foolz. 4. Ok. Well you said "We do have to accept NAFTA provisions". What does having visa requirements or not for general travelers here have to do with NATFA? Are you saying the Harper gov's visa requirements were against NAFTA? And even if they were, then great, renegotiate NAFTA or pull out of it. A trade agreement should allow travelers to easily travel here and defraud our country with bogus claims and then disappear and stay as illegal migrants or be used as an easier shortcut to get into the US to do the same. It also means the Trudeau gov is now in violation of NAFTA since they put the visa requirement back on. I don't understand your point, but you seem to be defending the Liberals. Why? Removing the visa was bad policy. They're reversing many of their immigration policies closer to what they were under Harper. Why? Because its harmed the country and voters are fed up. 5. See the 1st paragraph of #3 above. He's mishandled immigration badly on several fronts. He's a bad PM. He stinks at his job. His party stinks. He's harmed this country in so many ways and letting our enemies interfere in our democracy because it gets his party votes and who knows what else. He lets people walk all over this country because's a wimpy milquetoast "globalist" or whatever you want to call him trying to virtue signal rather doing what's in our best interest. Nuts to him and his party. If you think the Liberals policy on visas wasn't terrible policy tell me why. They just admitted such by putting it back in. 6. Ok then you understand why they should be in place for Mexican travelers and why taking the visa requirement away was bad policy and harmful to Canada. 7. Ok fair point. But he's the worst PM in my lifetime IMO. 8. Harper put the policy in place in the first place. He inherited the no visa policy from Martin/Chretien Liberals I assume. 9. I reject this premise. 10. I never said "wokeness is our #1 problem". Wokeness can be solved by no longer being woke. Wokeness is a problem. The GG was chosen because she's an indigenous woman. She can't even speak French! The previous GG was chosen because she's a woman but she was a nut. The speaker of the House of Commons was chosen because he's black. He seems like a nice guy but he's not very good at his job. Our Foreign Affairs Minister Joly is in cabinet because she's a woman. She seems like a nice person but she's just not very knowledgeable about much it seems It's embarrassing. When you choose people for jobs based on "woke" group identity and not by merit alone this is what happens. I assume this sort of thing won't happen under PP and it didn't under Harper. If you don't see the problem here and are trying to get people to stop pointing it out then you're part of the problem. JT doesn't understand there's far more important things than "appearances". He's all about appearances, and doesn't seem to care much about substance. It's all a performance. He comes from an acting background after all. And teaching. Up in front of everyone putting on a show. The government isn't a stage-show, things need to get done. It reminds of this video from years ago:
  23. 1. Paranoid about what? Are you saying the family unit hasn't eroded since the 1960's? Are you saying reproduction rates haven't plummeted far below replacement levels for decades and keep going down? Believing in an ideology is "free choice". Most of my friends haven't had kids and don't want them. This has very little to do with economics. The reproduction rate in Canada throughout the Great Depression was almost twice the rate of what its been the last 20 years. We've been below replacement levels since 1972. This is a choice. https://www150.statcan.gc.ca/n1/pub/91f0015m/91f0015m2024001-eng.htm 2. I'll read it on the other forum but I won't respond there. I have permanently left that forum by my own choice and won't log in again due to multiple issues I won't get in to.
  24. It's not because black people are "dumb". I have an African-American friend who lives in Georgia. He's so poor he lives in a motel room with his children. He's a sweet wonderful southern gentleman and one of the most amazing dad's i've ever met. His verbally abusive wife left him about 6 months ago and then he lost his job a couple of months ago and now he doesn't have enough money to pay his child support from a previous marriage so they just cancelled his driver's license. He can get another photo ID but if he needed it to vote he'd only have 2 weeks to get it before the election. How fast does your driver's license renewal come in the mail. Mine doesn't come in 2 weeks! There's other methods they can do for verification besides photo ID, like signature match or whatever.
