Well to be fair, the US taxpayer (and its debt responsibilities) pays for a lot of the defence of the western world, and its allies (including parts of Asia). Trump has a right to have a beef on that. At least he's not in the pockets of the military industrial complex, which is essentially corporate welfare for US defence companies and has been since WWII. I guess it doesn't matter where the taxes come from, they need to be charged by government somewhere. I guess the debate is from where and from who?

If progressives keep choosing to not have children then more immigrants from poorer countries will be needed to come to Canada to prop up our workforce, and they will have more conservative views than western progressives, at least until some of their children are propagandized into the ideology by our society (western media, education system, peers etc). By the numbers (demographic trends), a modern socially progressive society is unable to sustain its own population based on its reproductive choices, and will be replaced by other societies and cultures whose ideologies and cultures are better adapted to the modern world and its technologies, or less exposed to them... Modern western reproductive attitudes, including many aspects of feminism (not all) are a societal cancer. If other societies wish to survive they will need to reject these modern western values.

America has every right to defend its own national interests. I don't think isolating themselves by picking unnecessary fights with its allies like Canada, including 51st state threats and rhetoric, is wise. The relationship is already damaged for many years after Trump leaves because the US can no longer be trusted as a reliable ally. No matter how much it spends on defence, non-superpower countries with small populations like Canada are unable to defend itself against superpowers and thus needs to seek allies for mutual security, like NATO. If the US wants to drive countries like Canada and the EU towards alliances with a superpower like China out of necessity due to US threats that's their prerogative. It's an incredibly dumb geopolitical strategy for the US. The US can't defend itself against the entire rest of the world. It couldn't even defeat the Vietcong or the Taliban. If Canada needs to join China, Russia, India, and/or the rest of NATO to remove a Trumpster authoritarian regime from power due to existential threats then Canada will do that if it must. It would make more sense for the US & Canada to be allies against common enemies, but if this is what America wants then Canada will do what it must. Canada already abandoned protection from Britain post-WWII in favor of US protection when it suited Canada's interests. The US economy also can't live in a bubble. If it wants to drive Canadians and Europeans towards buying more Asian products that's fine. Americans will go broke when the world turns on them for being so arrogant. The tourism industry within the US has already been devastated.

Those are just a-holes. A-hole is a non-partisan issue LOL. When I post on forums with mostly lefties they call me conservative. When i post on forums with mostly conservatives they call me a lefty. So basically if you disagree with someone they assume you're some caricature that's their complete opposite. They do both. The left is feminine. They want to help and mother and take care of people. Sometimes people genuinely need help. But sometimes they also create government dependents in the process instead of encouraging them to look after themselves. They take away their independence and create dependence. Like an adult child living in his parents' basement. Look at how we've treated indigenous peoples. Adults who are incapable of providing basic needs for themselves either suffer from a severe disability or need to be helped to show how to look after themselves. Essentially they are treated like dependents until they can become independent. If they refuse society's help, too bad.

I hate Nazis. I don't hate progressives, I just think most of them are extremely unwise, naive, and cowardly, and have thus ruined many aspects of our society. But I can't hate naive fools just for being ignorant, they usually mean well. But you know what they say about good intentions... I think many on the left are victims of moral bullying from the more activist progressives who are often dumber than rocks and then spread their pseudo-intellectual diarrhea on humanity and then call everyone racist and sexist when they don't go along with it. Remember communism? Oopsies! Maybe shoulda thought that one though more carefully. The only reason communism didn't take over the West is because you couldn't bully people into compliance by calling them racist or sexist or homophobe when they disagreed with it. Many progressive activist types suffer from the Dunning-Kruger effect. College kids who read a few articles or take a course and suddenly think they're experts who have the wisdom to change society in their image. I know this because I was one once. Most (not all) social change should be slow and extremely well though-out. Younger people want everything *now* without thinking through the consequences of their actions. The cost-benefit analysis isn't done properly. This is largely why society is in the shape it's in and is having most of the problems it's having. From Trumpism to housing....it's all rooted in this. Progressives since the 1960's have completely f*cked us over with so many of their bad ideas that people took to the extreme and now we're seeing the consequences in every aspect of society. Birth control pills? The sex revolution? Legalizing divorce? Safe abortions? Kids growing up in childcare? Recreational drugs? Social media? What have been the consequences of these ideas, especially when taken to the extreme? What are the most liberal cities in North America? Vancouver, Portland, Seattle, San Francisco? And what do we see? Suburbs lined with broken homes filled with drugged-out kids addicted to smartphones. Sounds like Kurt Cobain, minus the iphone. The voice of a generation. Asian families DO NOT behave like this. There's 1.5 billion Chinese and 1.5 billion Indians to prove that, and they're taking over the world while we rot away. You wonder what they think when they move to these west coast cities of debauchery. And they're not soft on their kids like we are. They demand better. What's the lesson here, from time immemorial until now? You don't let children rule the roost. And it doesn't make me happy to say this, but you don't let women either. The patriarchy, for all its ills, at least survived, and in fact allowed the west to become #1 in the world and built everything we have. WE THRIVED. This isn't anti-female, they're no less important, maybe even more important, because when women convince themselves they need to become like men instead of embracing the feminine then society collapses. Many feminists are anti-feminine. Since many young liberals don't even want children anymore (women are men now, remember?), progressives will be all but extinct in a few generations. Replaced by the more conservative attitudes of immigrants from more traditional societies. Survival of the fittest. Darwinism always wins, in a way Nazis never wanted 😅

Refugees should be helped when they flee harm. However, people should also not be able to take advantage of that system and our kindness. Also, nobody should be able to stay in a country if they undermine the longterm interests and safety of the citizens of that country. The areas in my city (and many other cities) that have the most crime are ones filled with impoverished refugees, often from countries with high crime rates. Something needs to be done to prevent that. I suggest sending people with certain risk factors (such as income potential) to safe countries more line with their income potential and cultural background. The priority is their safety, not their standard of living at our cost. I will never advocate policies that make my community more dangerous in the name of compassion. At some point we need to stand up for ourselves and our interests. Unfortunately few politicians and people are willing to say these things publicly. They will be accused of being called racist.

The left focuses on helping minorities and the disadvantaged. Admirable, but how they frame things is flawed. Their kindness is often led by naive assumptions. Just because someone is a minority, or weak, doesn't make them virtuous and worthy of help. I'm not saying hungry Gazans don't need some food aid right now, they do. Netanyahu has gone over the line. Most progressives are racists and cowards. They hold racist double-standards and don't have the courage to hold people accountable who are seen as disadvantaged....because they're afraid of their peers calling them racist for it even when it's not. Progressives bully each other over nonsense, and thus remain in a state of delusion and enabling. Speaking the truth is one of the things worth risking offending people over. It is better to stay quite or lie and keep friends, or be correct and truthful and lose some? Sometimes people need to hear the truth even when they don't want to hear it.

Most politicians will do anything for power. The Clinton's are no exception. They aren't leaders, they're schemers and con-artists. It gets dirty at the top no matter the field, and it takes people with integrity not to be sucked into the temptations for easy gains. These same people are the types who would cheat on their spouses. They abandon all honour when you dangle a carrot in front of them.

Mr PP was desperate to win so he copied the style of politics that has been recently successful for conservative politicians in America. Unfortunately for PP, most Canadians don't support gorilla oaf politics. Dougie at least knows how to play the game a lot better. Toronto and Ontario have cautiously embraced the Ford brothers, which tells you that Canadians aren't as left-leaning as some think. PP should have copied what works in Canada instead. A lot of Canadians really, really dislike the Liberal Party (provincially and federally). Just not as much as Trump BAHAHA!

Science is neither progressive nor conservative. People who deny evidence-based conclusions in favour of what some talking fool said on Youtube deserves their fate. The thing with the Trump admin is that those guys aren't the smartest knives in the drawer, like RFK, but a guy like RFK, even if he's wrong, at least has the public interests in mind and isn't just working to enrich their corporate donors like the establishment.
