  1. Sure Okay. So they're saying it's going to cost about $4 billion dollars to do the infrastructure necessary to pretty much guarantee no future floods. Or minor flooding at best. That infrastructure should last about 20 years. And that's being generously short-lived. So assuming an average interest rate of about 4% which is what inflation is right now in fact inflation is slightly higher, that's about 23 BILLION dollars in economic activity directly, plus all the secondary and tertiary activity. On top of which you don't have to pay any money to buy up the properties or redo the transcanada. So for a couple billion you get a massive amount of economic activity based on your figures I figure climate change will ultimately settle the issue, probably sooner rather than later and it'll likely cost everyone a shitwhack. Well that's pretty big. The global warming just shows that we need more and more viable arable land. Yeah, sure. I can't argue, that's pretty definitive proof that our food supply is a delicate thing which can be impacted by climate change substantially. But we still have to live with that because climate change isn't going away. So adaptation is obviously the direction we need to move it Plant food that we're emitting??? Are you talking about carbon? Or did your geraniums just fart. Looks that way. We're already seeing some areas that weren't entirely viable becoming more so, growing seasons appear to be getting a little longer. It would appear that we're already beginning to benefit. 2024 was a good year Canada's 2024 crop season saw strong production, especially in wheat (up 6.1% to 35M tonnes) and fruits (like blueberries/cranberries), with overall grains and oilseeds near 102M tonnes, despite some crop area shifts; it was a good year for quality, with high-grade wheat, though projections varied slightly by crop and province, showing resilient overall output from a diverse sector.
  2. Yeah it does Same thing. If you run for office you're being elected. I understand that words are hard for you and you only have so much time to look dictionary definitions up but yeah, it's the same thing. Every now and then I read your stuff and I think "Man that guy can't get any more stupid". I apologize for underestimating you The point being it doesn't say you can't serve a third term as president. Just that you can't be elected to that office. Now there's some question that's been raised about whether or not one might say that the VP is also elected and because the vp's job is to be the pres if the pres goes bye bye it's the same as being elected pres. I think that would be a court battle and it'd be interesting. Now if you're done being slightly more stupid than a warm turd, lets get on with things
  3. Don't get too excited unfortunately. A large portion of that is how they're redefining permanent and non-permanent residents. They posted an article about this I believe Truth is we're on track over the next year to add almost 500,000 people. How. I mean.... How did you come to that conclusion whitey?
  4. no you didn't. You fully supported for those plans and then tried to make some nonsense comment about how Excessive immigration has been a topic in Canada going back 150 years. I pointed out that we did not have and overpopulation problem 150 years ago and you swore up and down that we did and it was talked about frequently. But then you'd go on to support the libs immigration policy.
  5. You may accurately? Yeah, I do. That's why I don't have to keep repeating the same crap over and over again Truth - you should try it someday!
  6. You mean democracy. Yeah.... that's probably just you and the voices kiddo all of the real people understand that elections do change things and that voting matters. You're the only one that can't figure it out Screwing it up by not even attempting to? LOLOL Your borderline sounding deranged. You're coming up with all this imaginary crap that never happened and has never going to happen and just randomly lashing out I expect that kind of childish from exflyer but i guess even you have your melt downs
  7. No it isn't. It's actually pretty minor. The problem is that they haven't been doing it and upkeeping it over time and now there's deferred maintenance essentially. But for the amount of food bearing land it's actually a pretty good deal. They just have to do it They already paying infrastructure tax. Those farmers pay and have paid for many decades the tax is necessary to maintain their infrastructure. The federal provincial and local governments have a duty of care to actually address these issues and to negotiate with America who has to do their part as well. So far this is failed to happen. It's not the farmers fault. So you're thinking that the first nations don't deserve food? I mean I'm not surprised, you're frequently calling for the death of ethnic groups you don't like. But I think you'll find there is a little bit of a duty of care there. Just pretend the farmers are Palestinians and the water is Jewish settlers and you'll be on side with everyone else in moments Not mad at all, mostly amused to the fact that you proved my point for me But I do appreciate you contributing to my amusement for the day by doubling down on some stupid with some more stupid LOL always good for a laugh
  8. Sigh, you don't even get that joke? It's so simple yet you screwed it up Seriously i don't know what's wrong with you today but while it's not like i expect high intelligence replies out of you for some reason today you're at robosmith's level of dumb. Step it up kid! Don't let the dementia win!
  9. That's very true. It's still a terrible idea even with that information. The swamp wasn't terribly useful other than in the same breeding ground for starving mosquitoes. The Farmland however is exceptionally valuable. Food security is an important thing. Being able to produce the food that you eat is critical to the first nations and other communities in the area So you accidentally kind of made my point for me We already have hundreds if not thousands of salmon streams, trout lakes, and a near infinite supply of bears but we have very very little farmland to feed our people. That includes first nations people Best to keep the land.
  10. Oh look who's mommy forgot to change his diapers again today and now he's cranky
  11. So in other words you're imagining it LOLOLOL well there you go big guy Say hi to the voices for me You're making up the idea that we say that the orchestrate and control everything. And you're making up the fact that there's paranoia. Everything else you said was true oh wait that was exactly what you said LOLOL I suppose you're correct, it's not that you hate voting it's that you hate the idea that anyone should be allowed legally to vote for anyone you disapprove of As long as we all vote for Trudeau, or Carney now, or Stalin back in the day, you're 100% fine with democracy
  12. The VP thing has been floated a couple of times. It hinges on the idea that the way the law is worded it says that a person may not run for presidency more than twice, it doesn't say they can't serve as president more than twice. Kind of interesting. But from a practical point of view I don't think it's very likely. There are a number of problems with it, legal challenges would probably prevent it, and honestly they would be at such a huge disadvantage, they would literally have to have someone like Vance when the presidency after having gone through all of that give it up despite the fact that the voters chose them and passed the whole thing to trump. I just don't see it happening. And anybody that was a yes man is going to have a hell of a time winning unless they're up against somebody completely and utterly unelectable from the democrats
  13. I realize that thinking and communicating aren't your specialties but calm down and try and use your words The money that pays for those things is taxes. If they're paying taxes then great. But you suggested that they don't receive anything that they should be paying taxes for. You've literally just agreed that you were wrong but you are somehow trying to say that even though you were wrong you were also right at the same moment. Nice trick Both which service them. Sorry just doesn't count Are any of them religious? Do any of them eat food? Use gas? Well there you go Yeah sorry but everybody else does all of those things as well, and they pay tax. All you've done is proven that the first nations aren't paying enough tax for what they get Sounds like they're getting a hell of a lot for a group of people that don't pay taxes. Maybe that should change they need to pay for what they get Well first off they're not chained there and like anybody if you're living somewhere that you don't like you can move. They're absolutely no different than anyone else in that respect But more importantly if a bunch of regular Canadians lived somewhere and they found it wasn't to their liking for services they would get together raise money in taxes and build something better. So obviously the first nations need to pay more taxes and get what they want instead of complaining about paying for nothing and getting it
  14. To harvest mosquitoes? Well you got me there big guy And? None of that changes anything I said. Literally all of that is still happening in that exact same area right now in fact, the stream right beside my house which is very close to that area is full of salmon. And it'll be streams and rivers that the first nations take their salmon from, not a big lake ??????? Whatever you're drinking, you need to put the cork back in the bottle right now. You're over your limit
  15. I never actually said that or anything like it, but I'm sure the voices in your head tell you I do Which is extra impressive considering we never actually say it or anything like it I know, I know. You absolutely hate democracy and never miss an opportunity like this to suggest we shouldn't even be voting I accept your admission of defeat
  16. Is that why she seems to scare you so bad?
  17. Pretty mobile for a rutabaga Completely unrelated side note, hallucinations are one of the reported side effects of drinking too much cooking sherry. Just FYI
  18. They are provided with water And sewer and also take advantage of medical services, education opportunities, the legal system, and a number of other things that are funded by taxpayers. They have a right to vote so they can't call it taxation without representation. But I appreciate your ongoing dedication to never miss an opportunity to say something stupid
  19. They haven't. There are not 520,000 civilians dead in this conflict. There aren't even that many dead in total even if you include military on both sides. The fact that you feel the need to lie proves that you know you're wrong
  20. Nothing I do here is this information. So you refuse to deny that you killed children while in the army?
  21. So you're saying YOU were in the army and killed babies?!? That's terrible, you should be ashamed of yourself
  22. How is that possible? I'm on ignore!! And you don't read my posts but you somehow read my post Don't know what to tell you mike
  23. I don't know if he KNOWS.... but deep down i think he's afraid to find out
  24. Ob NOES!!!! A radical leftist called right wingers a nazi!!! HOW COULD THIS HAPPEN!?!?!
