If you're telling me you don't understand logic, I agree that would be entirely consistent with your posting history.2 points

Sigh... Donald J Trump was and is an inevitability. Liberal minds had run the gambit of "reasonable" social changes and in the last...oh I'd say 30-some-odd years...the Liberal movement became arrogant...and went too far. I mean really...men boxing with women? No... Had it not been Donny-boy, it would have been someone else. Unfortunately for our modern Libbies...Donny-boy is perfectly willing to snub the establishment in leu of what's best for America...mostly. Of note...he did not have the power to resist bombing Iran. Meh...2 points

Kid, you're wrong. I posted some basic evidence as to why you're wrong. It's your right to be wrong, you are free to be as stupid and as much of a twat as you personally would like but you are absolutely wrong and this isn't a point for discussion. This is well documented, this is agreed upon by experts on both sides of the border and we just went through big discussions about this a couple months ago You are 100% incorrect just like people who claim the earth is flat are 100% incorrect. Read a book The very fact that you need to lie to yourself about this in order to try and make your point proves that you know you're in the wrong But that's okay. It would have been better if you had taken the time to educate yourself on this first but if you insist on making yourself look like a fool that certainly something that is within your rights2 points

Shitty all the way around for this child and family, but the government hasn't killed the child. The drug is considered no longer effective for her current situation. To blame this on the BC government as a disregard for human rights is only reading headlines, and disregarding the unfortunate facts.2 points
-
No, read it again. the child is going to die anyway. the drug won't help her, it just controls her seizures and they can do that with other drugs which are less expensive. This drug cost a million a year and won't do her any more good. Drug coverage to be discontinued for Langford girl - Victoria Times Colonist Yeash dude, i've got some serious issues with our medical system but i think you'll have a hard time selling this as a human rights violation2 points

Uhhh... we actually have 16 major refineries. And no, canada is far cheaper for electricity. That's why we sell so much to you. And as noted the US is not energy independent at all, you bring in millions of barrels of oil a day and you buy a very sizable portion of your electricity from Canada through quebec, the atlantics and bc. (all clean hydro power btw ) Do you remember what we talked about as far as what it means when you have to lie to make your point? The US is a very power hungry place. It certainly fair to say it's moved closer to energy independence in recent years but you are a long way short of being energy independent. In fairness the only reason that Canada is energy independent for the most part is because we have absolutely vast amounts of hydropower compared to almost anywhere else in the world and we do have significant amounts of our own oil. And even so we still in port oil so while we are theoretically energy independent the reality is we're not there either. And the united states isn't anywhere near as close as we are1 point

You clearly haven't been around here to notice the racists are so f*cking racist they can't even see that they are. If you point it out they're so f*cking dumb all they can do is call you the racist for calling them one. If they were Sikhs instead of white boys they'd be griping that it was racist that they got Easter Sunday off with pay when they weren't Christians.... that's how dumb. They were dead against a Stat for Aboriginal Day... duhh we don't want a day off with pay if it's about Indians...1 point

WTF are you talking about... I answered your questions now you're onto other sh*t that pops into your feeble mind. You are some kind of f*cked up.... Yes, Thunderstruck is an ACDC song that created a great deal of concern for the equally inept fools on the Toronto Sun vid had a real issue with.... Speak English.... Bruce Flatt is CEO of Brookfield. Assume you know what a CEO is, if not google it. BAM is Brookfield Asset Management where Carney was. Complicated stuff, I know.... Yes, I understand what veracity means and once again, the validity of your so-called concerns is a 0 to 1 on an importance scale....which appears to be just slightly lower than your IQ The more I read from you the more I wonder.... Do you need to wear a helmet when you go outside?1 point

I don't think you can say trump is bad for democrats at all. Not because he isn't, but because they are so bad for themselves at the moment that it would be impossible to determine if any exterior source is making things worse. When a group is so eager to completely self-destruct it's really hard to say whether or not somebody else is having a negative effect at all1 point

That's been tried and it's been another failure. Turns out the sun goes down at night where you live And battery tech just isn't up to speed to be able to deal with it Seems to be the case we wind up finding ourselves just a tiny bit short of the technology necessary to make it happen. If battery technology advances to the point where we can effectively store energy much better than we do today then sure, when did solar may very well wind up being permanent sources of energy that can replace other forms. But we are a long way from being there just yet and while the wind doesn't always blow and the sun doesn't always shine adams always split and oil always burns1 point

This whole argument is a silly hypothetical that doesn't even exist. You have run away from our discussion pages ago now where I refuted your arguments so this is what you are left with. The reality is that folks are in fact getting due process.1 point

The IAEA says otherwise. They sanctioned Iran, they also released a statement before the air strikes even took place indicating that Iran was failing to meet its obligations. Trump says a lot of things. Mostly bluster. The IAEA sanctioned Iran fir not meeting their obligations.1 point

About what? I suspect you have forgotten what you're talking about. "us people" are people like anyone else, and generally speaking, care a great deal about whether or not humans are living or dying. You certainly have no Monopoly there. We just think a little more clearly than you do and look at the reality of the situation instead of our feelings. We realize that there really is no justification for the way you think there is for Hamas's actons and recognize that it boils down to a simple choice of whether or not people want to live in peace or do not. And once that choice has been made there are only so many options left. It would have been nice if the people of Palestine and Gaza and Hamas had made better choices and had chosen peace and prosperity. They could have chosen prosperity and made a good life for their children and themselves. But it is what it is and they have to live with the choices that they've made, or in many cases not live with them. See the funny thing is I look at you and I see a monster for not thinking that way. You want the rest of us to be a monster because we think that way. And I suppose everybody's entitled to their opinion. But at the end of the day your way of thinking is the Hamas way of thinking and look at what it's doing to them now. Your way seems to get a lot more people killed than my way.1 point

Congrats, you win the award for most nonsensical and idi0tic post of the day....so far. The title is a joke. Canada is ranked #5 globally in human rights - Placing 5th out of 208 jurisdictions evaluated by Freedom House, Canada received nearly top marks on political rights (39/40) and civil liberties (58/60) for a total score of 97/100 on the Freedom in the World 2025 report. Secondly, the BC government denied funding...NOT Canada. The BC government determined Pollock's condition had deteriorated to the point where she met "discontinuation criteria". Agree or disagree with the BC gov's decision.....it's heartbreaking for the family.1 point
