  1. CNN Syndrome, aka Propaganda Addiction Syndrome (PAS), is a soon-to-be actual clinical diagnosis (thank me later) for people who followed and regurgitated fake news for so long, and had so many consequential blow-ups with friends and family as a result of the fake news BS they preached to them, that they have no choice but stay dialled in to the drivel train so that they can continue getting new narratives to sustain the false sense of moral and intellectual superiority that is usually their only source of self-esteem. For example, think of all the people who refused to let their own adult children into their homes due to their vax status. And not in a friendly way either, they had serious rows with them. (just in case you still didn't know, Pfizer and Moderna said that they never did any clinical trials to see if the jabs stopped people from being able to spread covid, and they never made any such representations either. So that whole "GET THE VAX TO STOP THE SPREAD/SLOW THE SPREAD" campaign was never based on any science at all. it was just total nonsense. Those people destroyed some of the most meaningful relationships in their lives over false CNN narratives. It's really hard for people to admit that they destroyed their own families based on blatantly false drivel that sucked them in, so they choose to maintain the old charade and move on to the next one instead of coming clean. As long as the supply of blatantly false, stupid narratives keeps coming, the PAS-boys will never run out of nonsensical drivel that frustrates their political opponents. I.e., they'll be able to maintain the illusion of being SJWs as long as they keep saying "CNN SAID _____________!!!! AND I CARE BECAUSE I'M A MORALLY SUPERIOR PERSON AND A SJW!!!!". So now people like @robosmith can say that they have "CNN syndrome", which gives them tons of street cred among the cultist horde, plus they can get some time away from their b1tchin' Starbucks jobs to go wipe feces on Teslas and then lick the windows.

  2. Donald Trump went on Truth Social to denounce the results of the Papal election. Says "I received more votes than any Pope in history!" Called on American Cardinals to find him 'just 40 votes'. Claims there was 'widespread corruption" and voting by hundreds of dead Cardinals! Calls on Magas to march to the Vatican and reverse the count. Vatican immediately begins shuttering windows and barring doors

  3. The King is our head of state. His function as King of Canada is completely separate from his function as King of the UK. It's clearly spelled out in our constitution. Same as Australia and New Zealand. It's odd and it's unique but having a non political head of state, separate from government is a good thing in my opinion. Having Charles open Parliament will send a reminder to Trump and Americans how we are different and why.

  4. Are you still holding on to the idea that Trump is actually smart? He told Carney that Canada doesn't do much business with the US, didn't he? Carney is a career banker, and Trump is a career Carnival Barker. You have this exactly backwards

  5. Thats not what i said....i said signing or saying an oath means nothing it proves nothing....certainly not loyalty...I seen men sign the same oath and refuse to fight alongside their own men....it was a good thing our platoon warrant step up and took over the CSM role... and the MCPL took over fighting the Capts LAV....I guess they forgot the part to swear to defend our nation, foreign or domestically... That oath also works both ways my good friend....it means your country will also be loyal to our soldiers, Airmen , and sailors, and give them the equipment they need to do the job....not the cheapest bullshit, or something that provide the most Canadians jobs....but rather brings our members home to their families safe and sound...And i can give you plenty of examples of how our government failed in all of that....Canada is the last nation to be talking about loyalty... And to be honest....My loyalty laid with my soldiers on the right and left of me....my job was to carry out all assigned tasks and mission to the best of my abilities, and bring my troops back home alive....then came my family, then the Regiment, and in distant last place came my country.... You don't have to do nothing of the sort, when the shit hit the fan, me and my troops knew exactly what to do, flip the switch and kill anything that posed a threat...or looked like a threat I did not have to wonder did they have my back, nor did they have to wonder that i had theirs... Not many Canadian soldiers did not step up when asked to, regardless of race, color, creed, political believes, or allegiance, they did so because we were brothers in arms, we stepped up for each other and our families...had nothing to do with Canada at all,...so don't pull that bullshit with me about questioning my allegiance, last thing i was thinking about while i was over there or in a TIC, was my oath, or my country....it was about the soldiers on the left and right of me...be it Canadian or American or British....and trying to figure out how to kill the enemy the quickest way possible..

  6. So look at other sources. Are you saying Miller didn't actually say those things and ABC is lying when they quote him? He is the senior advisor to the President. He is the Whitehouse. FFS you guys will excuse anything Trump does. 7. Ge·sta·po [ɡəˈstäpō] definition the German secret police under Nazi rule. It ruthlessly suppressed opposition to the Nazis in Germany and occupied Europe, and sent Jewish people and others to concentration camps. From 1936 it was headed by Heinrich Himmler. "Last month, Clay Jackson was at a gas station near his home in Dallas when an attendant asked if he could offer up some legal advice to an immigrant family in the neighborhood. A father was caught up in an Immigration and Customs Enforcement raid, and the mixed-status family with a U.S. citizen child wasn’t sure what to do next. Jackson agreed to give them informal pro bono support in his personal capacity, not as an in-house lawyer for Fidelity National Financial, a multi-billion dollar Fortune 500 title insurance company. “My goal was to try to find somebody just to be a conduit for them, to alleviate their immediate concerns and fear, give them just some basic understanding of what this is and how this may play out, and then try to find them with a good lawyer,” he told The Independent. Then two people he says appeared to be federal law enforcement agents visited Jackson himself. Two plain-clothed agents appeared at his home and accused Jackson of obstructing an investigation, he said. Jackson talked to formerWashington Post columnist Radley Balko about the people he believed were ICE agents arriving at his door. That article, which did not mention where Jackson worked, was published April 23. That same day, Jackson was fired. The incident follows a series of actions from Donald Trump’s administration targeting individual lawyers and firms that provided work for his perceived political enemies. Jackson fears ICE’s threats and his abrupt termination could send a “chilling” effect preventing lawyers from pro bono work or even informal advice." A Texas lawyer gave advice to an immigrant family caught up in an ICE raid. Agents visited him, and then he was fired

  8. Good God, pretending to be Conservatives and belittling the King's reading of the Throne Speech. It's a goddam honour for us and for the King to do on his first showing in Canada. It's also a thunb to stick in Trump's eye to show we're not some 51st state candidate. Imagine that - a head of state with a sense of decency, duty, and honour rather than accepting bribes of jet planes, wanting to rid habeas corpus, belittling universities, and demanding nations bend to his will. Who's the real King and who's the tyrant?

  10. Perhaps you don't understand having a King is more than symbols. We have a Constitutional Monarchy which gives the King certain powers. He is there as an unelected monarch which is different than the American system, where the elected President is the head of state. Our King doesn't have to spend too much time thinking about politics while the President is a central political figure. Everything must be geared to politics. Because the King is also King of other countries that is actually an advantage, not a problem. It means we have a special relationship with those other countries. They are kind of sister or brother countries, or allies if you wish. If we were not a Constitutional Monarchy, I think there is a good chance we would already be part of the U.S. We might not be an independent country. Being a part of this Constitutional Monarchy does command a certain degree of respect from other countries.

  11. Just a political stunt. Pre-election campaigns cost big money. He gets a big "Like" vote from all Canadians for just $154K while making the rest look bad. You wait and see what happens if he gets elected. It is also very possible the Oil and Gas industry paid him the $154K and asked him to turn the severance down so his chances are better next time around.

  12. It is worse off. Covid had something to do with that as did Trudeau's economic policies. Trudeau is gone, and if Carney doesn't do better, he will be gone as well. There were reasons people didn't like PP's approach and they need to be addressed by him and his party if they want to gain power. Blaming others won't win you anything so stop whining and do better. It's typical MAGA not to take responsibility for anything. It's always someone else's fault. Grievance culture.

  15. We should clarify he was never in harper's cabinet during the financial crisis. He was the governor of the Bank of Canada and while the conservatives consulted him regularly he was technically independent. The Bank of Canada tends to do with the government tells it but they only meet once every week or two briefly in order to discuss the financial situation Harper played a huge role, but the real hero of the day was Jim flatterly the finance minister. Between the two of them they cooked up some unbelievably innovative and highly successful ways to address the crisis to the point where other countries frequently asked Canada about how they were doing it right in order to emulate them. There were a number of very creative initiatives. None of those initiatives have anything to do with Carney. He played a minor supporting role at best

  16. Swearing an oath means nothing, it is just words on a paper you agree to before you joined....Every new Canadian swears an oath.....and some of those were criminals or terrorist....look at Omar Khadr he sworew an oath and it got Canada where exactly......i know a few soldiers that swore an oath to Canada but when it came to combat they opted out....An MWO, and a CAPT, when it came down to dismount and join the fight both refused .....both sent home in disgrace but remained in the CF, and drove desks for the rest of their careers...out of sight out of mind.... Yes i did it, but it proves nothing....

Wokeness sluts like this guy: Judge James "no-balls" Boasberg, is fighting to keep tren de aragua in America. Laken Riley, and others, being slaughtered by these wild animals just isn't enough for his appetite for destruction. He needs more... Grippens....are gen 4 aircraft, might as well buy F-18 e/f if thats the route your going....The air force spent billions of dollars in testing and grippens place a distance 4th our of 5 Aircraft, one justin disqualified, two quit, leaving f-35 and gripen... F-35 was chosen by our air force for good reason....keeping the grippen for 40 years in not an option, F-35 is a gen 5 fighter and cheapest out there, with much more growth potential....want to buy european go with the euro fighter or french fighter....at much more cost...
