Historically people are either good leaders or good campaigners (or neither). It is very rare to meet someone who can truly campaign well AND can also achieve when it comes to running the country. For a variety of reasons i believe that PP is both, and will comfortably win the election and then will have a fairly positive time in office with signficiant successes to point to. That should give him 2 terms in office, the next election with a majority and the one after most likely. Meanwhile the west is growing stronger and gaining more seats. I think that the libs and ndp are going to go through an extended period of internal confusion and division (libs slightly more than the ndp), i don't think they'll recover very well after their loss and will still be weak going into the next election after, and i think people are going to remember the utter and complete disaster that the liberals lead us to this time around for quite a while. ANd i think PP can make people happy and excited enough to make all of that work for him.
