Videos of Ottawa protesters cheering when their chant-leader yelled about the glory of Oct 7th laid to rest any notion that the protests aren't pro-terrorism/pro-Hamas. Not every single protester gets a genocide boner when they talk about the child-murdering done by the Palestinian terrorists on Oct 7th, but the core of those protests is pro-terrorists. Are they "aliminis" herbie? Alimnuses? Please guess. I love it when yuu try to use big words. Sorry, but here's the thing about college and university students: they're not all geniuses. In fact, it doesn't take much to get into university. Furthermore, not all the protesters at the campuses are even students there. In general, university students are easy prey for religious groups, advocacy groups, etc.2 points

It's time to take a closer look at the White House occupier, and we'll use Conservapedia as our source. Keep in mind that Trump isn't the only one who's had people turn on him. Joseph Robinette “Joe” Biden, Jr., aka Pops, The Big Guy, Robert L. Peters, Robin Ware,[14] J. R. B. Ware[15][16][17] and My Chairman[18][19] (born November 20, 1942) is the authoritarian kleptocrat and dictator of the United States.[20][21] Biden has been described by a close confidant as an "egomaniacal autocrat"[22] and by his own Justice Department as incompetent and unfit.[23] https://www.conservapedia.com/Joe_Biden I've never heard anyone refer to Robinette as a "kleptocrat", but when you think about all the shit he and his offspring have gotten into, it certainly makes sense. Thoughts?1 point

I heard one of the weirdest ones today. Well - "read" but you know what i mean. The author claimed that the reason that biden is doing badly in the polls was because their focus group has shown that people are in a mental state of denial that it's trump v biden again. They simply don't beleive it and when they do, when it's real for them and they believe it's true, then they'll go to biden en masse. They likened it to the state of denial people experience when they're mourning I'm like Biatch - it's been plastered all over the news for months. Everyone knows it's trump v biden, nobody's thinking otherwise. feh. Some people's children. But at the end of the day it's probably true that people have stopped focusing on it by and large and have 'put a pin' in it till the race starts, but clearly trump will be likely to start that race ahead of biden when the people start paying attention to presidential politics seriously again after summer.1 point

99 % of these protestors don't have a clue what these issues pertains to...WHO is keeping palestinians from determining their own future...they as a people have had 1 /2 dozen or more chances to declare their own state and they have been governing them selfs in Gaza since 2005... your right not all of them are pro hamas....Most but not all...Yes they are university and collage kids, with tones of education, but Zero life experience...and if education is the ruling factor, and they are always right why is it that this forum or any other does not require the poster to post how much education they have, why is it that those with higher education just don't dictate to us pions how things work... There are plenty of smart people on this very forum, but even they are not always right about every issue So the education background is not the end all to be all... Some of the smartest people i know, are the dumbest as well in most other areas of their lives...1 point

Genocide: the deliberate killing of a large number of people from a particular nation or ethnic group with the aim of destroying that nation or group. "a campaign of genocide" O frack, that is what is happening in Gaza???? Yeah, OK. 🤦 What are you wanting me to say?? Oh wait, let me say it again. Nuke the entire region, turn it into a wasteland, be radioactive for generations, then there will be peace.1 point

Being Canadian I have no irons in the fire. To me neither Trump or Biden have that "Presidential" aura. I would though vote for Trump as I see him as the lesser of two weevils. We in Canada are stuck with a weird kind of peopleperson who's only saving grace is "well he has nice hair".1 point

It was a figure of speech. You claimed they were peaceful and then ignored them when we pointed out there was violence there and then tried to act like you did not move the goalposts by trying to claim "largely peaceful" proved your point. Also, claiming it is peaceful doesn't excuse the vandalism, trespassing, obstruction of law enforcement, and refusal to follow lawful commands.1 point

Oh you know how these Libbies work. They can stand in front of a building on fire, while spewing forth Libbie talking points.1 point

No, some will just re-define rich and poor. The rich would be what we once called middle income LOL I could never understand why some folks are so obsessed by what others have (or earned). Seems jealousy more than reality.1 point

I don't support either guy But we Canadians have created a civilised place in the world: a federal state with two federal official languages but no official cultural. We get along.1 point

In their minds it can be both at the same time. Schrodinger's court if you will. You don't know if the judge is a champion of justice or a filthy bought out scumbag until you open his decision1 point

It's not what they have that I want. I want them to have exactly what you and I have...no special access to politicians and other senior government officials. You figure they earned that or is it more like something they inherited?1 point

Self delusion is the first skill they teach new democrats. One of the reasons they have more mental health issues.1 point

First off - did you not JUST say you lived in the north central interior? You don't "pop over da border". Unless you were lying again that is. Maybe it's because you use your credit card? Second that's due to supply management - brought in by the first trudeau. It's got NOTHING to do with the grocery stores. I'm sure the grocery stores would love to be able to sell american butter and eggs etc - it's not their fault that we can't. And by the way - i love that the guy who's all 'pro union' is mad that he can't buy things at the cheapest price If we ban unions then i'm sure prices will be able to go down here for all KINDS of things And if you start taxing the rich - suddenly you have a lot fewer rich around. And then you have a lot more poor. And you don't get jobs from poor people.1 point

Lol...WAPO. OK...you made an accusation and can't prove it. You really are a lyin' cheap little sh1t. Now you can p1ss off Tweenkie-poo.1 point

I don't have to prove the obvious. You have to prove the opposite, and using what you interpreted from what they showed you on TV isn't a good start.1 point

You know, these kinds of announcement have been going on when I came to NDHQ. Actually before that, when the Military was going to replace the Labrador and Sea King Helicopters with the EH101's. (in about 1992) New ships were coming to be able to handle the new helicopters. Here we are 30 some odd years later and we still do not have ships and only promises to get them. Deja Vu all over again LOL Typical of parties in power, make promises for after the next election so if they don't win, all is gone. Our Military are victims of this all the time.1 point

Your right beaver, this is coming from inside the military, not sure what they were thinking , also an example that "all" DND problems are not the making of the liberal government but from leadership within DND itself....Thanks for sorting me out...1 point

99% of people protesting in these rallies are protesting war itself. the undue suffering of the people of Palestine or for the right of the Palestinian people to determine their own future. Only the alarmist blockheads insist are portraying all of them as pro Hamas. They're college and university students more educated and aware than most of you that Hamas and Netanyahu's govt are obstinate arseholes.1 point

I can't understand why so many people casually dismiss what Hamas did on Oct 7 with a 'so what?' attitude. They say, no proof of atrocities! Fact is, the footage that Hamas took(they were PROUD of it) was shown to select journalists in the misguided hope that maybe this time, Hamas would not win the war of public opinion. Wrong, Hamas is winning the war of public opinion. Lot's of gullible people around these days. https://www.ynetnews.com/article/s1gwdnawt1 point

How can people say this garbage with a straight face when it is Biden's administration, not Trump's, using the law to keep him in court and making it difficult to campaign. Yes it is Bidens administration, their lead prosecutor, Matthew Colangelo was number 3 in Biden's DoJ and left to work for Bragg. Hmmmm I wonder why he would leave a higher position in the federal government to take a lower position in New York?1 point

Again, they have various areas like B and C, and whatnot; it is only one of those areas, I believe, more closely around Jereusluem, that has more blanket prohibition... it is not the entirety of the West Bank. Systemic to what? The point is that where there are close living conditions between Israelis and Palestinians, there is some violence that happens. Its like any other statistic... In America something like 10,000 people die a year falling down stairs. Is that "systemic?" To the larger point here, the fact that there is some small amount of violence that occurs for some small % of the population, that is hardly evidence of ethnic cleansing. Its simply a matter of the human condition that when people who have generations of hate and angst and religious animosity towards one another are in close proximity that incidents will happen. https://www.timesofisrael.com/police-demolish-illegal-settler-structures-prompting-outrage-from-coalition-members/1 point

Did you read any of the sources i gave you, you don't care to respond...instead i get the old "YOU PEOPLE" again. What is it with the left and YOU People... And you don't think Thats a little racist...to paint an entire group of people with one brush, of course not your a lefty..... .......Not when it is the jewish people right....Not when it is a group of people who have been struggling for 1000's of years, so all they get is the f*ck you... but the story changes when it is a group of people that are governed by terrorist, that support terrorist actions..., who think rape, torture, dragging dead bodies through the streets they are worth your time and effort... And you reply with the "you people" remark....like some how i'm the guy with bad judgement...1 point

It's a hard war for the Israelis to fight. Urban battle grounds are rife with perches for snipers and rpgs, weapons storage caches, bunkers, and civilian meat shields. The enemies don't wear uniforms, so they just attack and then blend in. The last time Israel went in with force they lost a lot of tanks and they didn't accomplish nearly enough. This is their new plan. Who's to say that they should just sit back and wait for Hamas to gather 40,000 rockets this time, or 70,000? It's tough to watch, but they earned every bit of this.1 point

Including Jews. People aren't legally allowed to setup occupied encampments on public property with barricades and checkpoints in order to not allow people of certain ethnicities to enter said public property. Ironically, this is apartheid. Genocide? I'm not the one glorifying Oct 7, chanting "From the river to the sea...", denying food aid to starving people or murdering innocents then hiding inside/under hospitals and schools and then calling myself a victim.1 point

I don't believe in the distinction between "Palestinians" and "Hamas" from this side of the pond. For sure there are some moms, born to that area, who want no part of it, but from here, when we go against Israel, we're just playing the role of Iranian puppets. This shit should have been sorted out 50 years ago. There were more Syrian/Iraqi state refugees from islamic state than there ever were Palestinian refugees, and the Syrians/Iraqis are all settled now. It's time to stop bombing Israel.1 point

Which isn't even much of an ask. They should already involve themselves in ethical investments as they're supposedly setting public and educational examples and not just financial entities. Are they investing in Russia too? No I'm well aware they're more educated then the ploughboys, trolls and bible thumpers that infest this forum. That's you. You sealed your brain off completely to every protestor interviewed and only remembered that. And choose to ignore the major story of one you describer being arrested for hate crimes. Which you oppose with your free speech bullshit while demanding the legal penalties be applied to those with opinions you don't like. Mr. Hypocrite. Blabbing for months now about invading Rafah and still have their thumbs up their arse. Hey Adolph we're building up all those landing craft offshore at Normandy, if ya don't give up we'll invade any day now.... that's got to be the dumbest comment I've heard about the reasons behind the protests.0 points
