  1. It's not racist in any way and it's a sad attempt by Mary Ng and Trudeau to deflect attention. Clearly she does not want to offend China in any way.

I have no shame as there is nothing binding me to fealty to the Canadian Confederation I mean, obviously since Quebec has just passed a law which says they no longer have to have any fealty to the Crown yet Quebec is still in Confederation so Canada and the Crown cannot be the same thing therein

  9. It was the NAZIS who enslaved people in service to their WAR CRIMES. IF the "new life" is totally dependent on HER SERVICE, that is slavery IF NOT VOLUNTARY. Slavery of the woman is what YOU want. Otherwise you'd ENTICE her to SERVE YOUR AGENDA with MONEY instead of FORCE OF LAW.

  10. Yeah but you're not a canadian veteran by your own statements, you didn't do it for canada. You did it for william et al. Sooooo - why should we respect your service exactly? I mean - any more than we would respect any soldier from another country? You're not loyal to Canada so why would we have any particular loyalty or regard for you other than the norm we would have for anyone else?

  11. Satire is not synonymous with irony. At all. In fact satire is actually fairly protected against libel.

  13. Workers who were dismissed from their jobs for not taking the COVID shots and who were denied employment insurance upon getting fired are suing the city. City of Cambridge among defendants in $126M class action vaccine mandate lawsuit - CityNews Kitchener Since the CMO of Ontario, Kieran Moore, has said that the province did not mandate this and only asked employers to have a "policy framework" with alternatives, he basically threw employers who fired workers under the bus. Lawsuits.

  14. Agreed. We've seen where "just following orders" has gotten countries before. It's a very difficult moral issue - but i do believe that there can come a point where your orders violate ethical and moral behavior SO badly that you have a greater duty to speak up. In this case - there is clear evidence of Chinese interference in our democracy and sovereignty that is going ignored and possibly even being encouraged and welcomed by our own gov't and our gov't is keeping it hidden from the public. THat's a pretty serious thing. That's not just a political decision someone doesn't like, there is a real threat to our democracy. I would say that most would agree that reasonably approaches the bar where there's more of a duty to be a whistle blower than to shut up

  15. No, what I'd like to see is an Act of Parliament that allows the public to attend a meeting between a lobbyist for Galen Weston's fishing company and DFO ministers in their discussion over who should be allowed to catch salmon. Imagine how much misinformation could have been nipped in the bud if the public were allowed to attend meetings between say, health ministers and vaccine manufacturers.

  16. Yeah - it's been at least 20 years since that was a thing Math is racist now. Once the bar has been set that low basically everything is unless it's the liberals doing it. Remember when it was RRRRRRRRRRAAAAACCIST to suggest shutting down the border to china at the beginning of the pandemic? Remember when the gov't did it a year later during a later outbreak and suddenly it was perfectly normal?

  17. Not one single precinct anywhere in the US changed the outcome of their Presidential vote. If you truly think the election was stolen, you are a true fool. Fox News: “We Are Lying to You!!!” Fox Viewers: “No, You’re Not!!!” Fox News has sworn under oath to a Federal Judge that they lie to their viewers and the judge agreed that Fox viewers should realize they’re lying. How much more proof could you possibly need?

  18. Yeah weren't governments supposed to evaluate those before taking major decisions like opening up immigration floodgates, like where is a mystery, the great secret here? But that was in another galaxy far, far away.

  19. You didn’t know this? “The "'general tenor' of the show should then inform a viewer that [Carlson] is not 'stating actual facts' about the topics he discusses and is instead engaging in 'exaggeration' and 'non-literal commentary.' " “The Federal Judgr wrote: "Fox persuasively argues, that given Mr. Carlson's reputation, any reasonable viewer 'arrive[s] with an appropriate amount of skepticism' about the statement he makes." Judge Vyskocil, an appointee of President Trump's, added, "Whether the Court frames Mr. Carlson's statements as 'exaggeration,' 'non-literal commentary,' or simply bloviating for his audience, the conclusion remains the same — the statements are not actionable." https://www.npr.org/2020/09/29/917747123/you-literally-cant-believe-the-facts-tucker-carlson-tells-you-so-say-fox-s-lawye https://law.justia.com/cases/federal/district-courts/new-york/nysdce/1:2019cv11161/527808/39/

  21. Not defensive - annoyed. I find that level of "dense" a bit off putting. Seriously, this was pretty bad. Not only would they - they would be in serious legal trouble if they didn't. Postmedia carried LOTS of ndp and liberal ads. Never not happened either - can you show me any evidence they tried and were turned down'? NO? thought not. Any paper will run political ads for any party during an election. it's a very long standing tradition. They're very careful about pricing too so they don't look like they're donating to the campaign. Every single paper will do that if you pay them. It's not even a 'front page' its just a sort of flyer that goes over their front page. They've done it for other advertizers as well. Got big bucks, you can do that. Look - you want to have a sane discussion about media bias, that's fine. There's lots of bias in media. But this - this specific example - you have to be 17 different kind of thick to think that's an example of media bias. FFS dude. PLEASE do a little more research than that.

  22. Virtually any Chinese-Canadian with loved ones still in China can be intimidated and blackmailed whether they like it or not. It's a major national security concern. This is a fact and its unfortunate, but a fact that isn't politically correct doesn't make it less true. I have no idea how they should deal with this problem. We need to be fair to people and do our best not to racially stereotype, but also recognize risks where they exist. That's a tough line to straddle.

  26. No you excused the war with dishonestly and lies. Even russia never claimed it was about nato. And nato wanted nothing to do with ukraine. The war started because putin wanted a war - and he wanted a war because he got crimea so easily that he thought he could bag ukraine with no interference as well. Simple truth. And you want to cheer him on and praise him for it. While suggesting that even tho it didn't work last time if we just give him what he wants it's BOUND to work this time!!!! Appeasing his type hasn't worked a single time in 3000 years of human history but this time for sure. Just as the blood of the dead in poland in ww2 and the subsequent dead of that conflict were on the hands of chamberlin and others like him, the blood of this conflict is 100 percent on putin and people like you who encourage him.

  27. Yes - but repeating a lie doesn't make it true no matter how many times you say it. Putin was the one pushing for war. You support putin. I'm pushing for this to be the last war. I didn't want it, i didn't start it, i don't support the people who did want it and did start it, and i want to make sure it doesn't happen again. There is no possible justification for your support of a person who started the war, killed innocent people. and attempted to overthrow a neighbor to expand his empire. And there is NO reconcilling that position with any kind of support for peace. It would seem that you prefer war - provided the russians start it and the allies let them win without much of a fight.

  31. You may be right, but when intelligence services are involved it's generally a bad idea to hold public investigations. You don't want to to be giving up your intelligence methods and sources. Personally, I'd like to see the investigation conducted by a bi-partisan (conversatives, bloc, ndp and liberals) committee with security clearance. This part: And you can be sure that will NOT include the principle questions Canadians want answered: What did the Liberals know about these alleged Chinese agents, when were they informed, and what, if anything did they then do?

  32. It's to be expected that the Dems would embellish a bit, even lie by omission sometimes, because that's what all politicians do. The length and breadth of their lies about Jan 6th is appalling and disqualifying though. Not only did they lie, slander, and even criminalize people who did nothing wrong (called innocent, fellow Americans "terrorists" and "white supremacists", no less), they they had their KGB arrest them and put them in jail without trial for months, and the Dems withheld exculpatory evidence from those who got their show trials. What the Dems have done has far surpassed what could be written off as mere "lying" for the purpose of political manoeuvring anymore, it was blatantly criminal behaviour. It was the kind of criminal behaviour that you see from despots in failed states. We're at a tipping point in NA politics, we're on the brink of surrendering our democracy to tyrants, and our mainstream media is heavily invested in it. Their credibility is now based on the pandemic, the pseudovaxes, white supremacist terrorism rampant, the purity of Biden and Trudeau, and the evil of conservatives. They have crossed the rubicon - they are one-party media.

  33. During Coronamania, instead of trying to terrorize everyone, why didn’t the “experts” continually point out that reasonably healthy people under 70 were at near zero risk? Throughout the Corona scare, there remained a wide array of safety and health threats about which public health bureaucrats said nothing. Why not remind heavy, diabetic people that this was a good time to cut the sweets and shed some weight? Why not exhort everyone to get outside to get some Vitamin D and to be active? Why not promote inexpensive, immune-boosting nutrients and therapeutics, instead of pretending that the public’s survival depended on top-down “mitigation” measures like lockdowns, school closures, mask mandates, tests and hospitalizations? These interventions were not only ineffective but bad for public health, including mental health. In fact, they’ve been fatal. It’s unfortunate that many Americans believed, during Coronamania, that a government title or medical/academic credential conferred knowledge, capacity or motivation for constructive intervention. People and the media bowed down to dishonest, agenda-driven, power-hungry bureaucrats and a bunch of scientifically-illiterate, opportunistic governors and mayors. Instead of obedience, these bureaucrats and pols deserved disdain and ridicule. Their Scamdemic conduct should cast a shadow over them for the rest of their lives and, after they die, over their legacies. A long-term shadow should be cast over governments, the media, Pharma and medicine, generally. As H.L. Mencken said, “The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary.” After three years of foolish rules and abject failure, the Coronamania cruise directors won’t admit that they’ve been wrong about anything, when they’ve been wrong about everything. This misplaced arrogance continues. They continue to push injections that have not only failed to stop viral infection and spread—as they had assured—but are temporally linked to tens of thousands of deaths and hundreds of thousands of injuries. The pols, the experts and the media are covering this up. They’re bought by the Medical Industrial Complex. People should have tuned out the Covid “experts” and politicians from the beginning and instead trusted their own observations and common sense. Instead of heavy-handed, top-down, theatrical mitigation measures, society would have been far better off if people had been allowed to live normally. ~~ Mark Oshinskie, "Dispatches from a Scamdemic"

  34. America's influence in Canadian elections is no more legal or legitimate, and it dwarfs anything we get from China. There are millions of Canadians who are completely indoctrinated with alt-left 1diocy to the point where they refuse to even think for themselves. TBH, I'd like to take a look at the Chinese propaganda. Why not? At least male teachers there don't wear z-cup prosthetic boobs, or have the power to get your kid a sex change operation without your knowledge or consent.

  38. You really don’t know what would happen. The protesters didn’t kill anyone. Anyway Babbitt could have been stopped by arresting her. Why couldn’t the cops have arrested her? Why are you so desperate to murder an unarmed woman who never threatened anyone? Isn’t it better to use zip ties against protesters than to kill them? Normal people: Violence should only be used as a last resort. robosmith: Blood! Blood! I want more blood! I want to kill those I disagree with.
