  1. And our democratic institutions - free press, freedom of information - worked as they should-the public was informed, JT was (at least) embarrassed and many Canadians are looking at Trudeau differently. The organization that benefitted has shut down. That is pretty far from a banana republic. That the Conservatives aren't a shoe-in for the next election isn't because Canadians are stupid, or that they want to destroy Canada and live under communism; it's because Conservatives are not offering what Canadians want. That is how democracy works: the people decide which party/ideology they want for some limited period of time. Far from being communist, our democracy is working as it should. Blaming everyone else for the failures of Conservative leadership and core supporters isn't helping.

  2. Can't give you mine because I am a guy who is being controlled by money; not one of the guys who uses money to control the rest of us. I said "money in small amounts has a meaning" - those small amounts that correspond to our small abilities to work and produce. Those trillions of dollars are meaningless because there is nothing to back those up. You can start buying planets from the outer space with the aliens on them - the aliens will not even know they were bought. What good will that be to you, I have no idea. So, no, it is not crap but the reality.

  3. What's your solution . . . . total acceptance, without question, of everything the 'sock monkey & crew' are doing to this once great country?

  4. From Day 1 of these events the authorities have not been open and honest with the society: here's what we know, here's what we don't here's what we're trying to achieve and here's how we will know if it works. None. Not a problem and here's the next seemingly arbitrary directive to obey blindly, no explanations given, common sense or not. Now, a question: does it look like an open and dynamic democracy in the 21st century? Or like something else?

  7. Ontario reports up to 100,000 vaccines administered daily. If the rate was sustained, in four months of the rollout (100 days) the entire adult population of the province would have been vaccinated. With a linear increase in the rate, half of the adult population (i.e. approximately, 5 million). On the other hand, in my community it is Phase 2, registration open for ages 60+. Even in that group, I'm hearing that registration is less than reliable and scheduling can take weeks. Personally I don't know anyone under 70 who has received regular vaccination (i.e. via provincial or municipal program, not pharmacies). Ontario vaccination progress site reports the total of 3.2 million vaccinations as of today, roughly the same as the population of the province over 60 (below). Yet as far as I know not everybody in that group received it and not by far. What has been your experience so far? And where are Ontario's vaccines going as they cannot be seen anywhere around (other than in Toronto and AZ)? Demographics of Ontario by age

  9. So France is warning its people to get out of Pakistan. Why? Because the nutty Muslims there are rioting - have been rioting for SIX MONTHS - because after another crazy Muslim beheaded a French schoolteacher for showing the cartoons of Muhamed to the class in the context of censorship France's prime minister dared to say that people have a right to see and show such cartoons in France. And they're still rioting six months later. It is worth noting Pakistan is one of Canada's primary source countries for immigrants, and that none of the prospective immigrants are questioned about their religious or cultural views and values. No one asks, for example "Do you think anyone who shows pictures of Mohamad should be killed." Because that would be rude. France has urged all its citizens in Pakistan to leave the country temporarily amid violent anti-French protests across the country. The country's embassy in Pakistan warned of "serious threats to French interests in Pakistan", saying protests were increasing nationwide. Two police officers died this week in renewed clashes with protesters. The protests were sparked months ago after France defended the right to show cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad. In October last year, French President Emmanuel Macron strongly defended freedom of expression after the beheading of a teacher who showed such cartoons during a class discussion. This prompted anger in parts of the Muslim worl France urges citizens to leave Pakistan amid anti-French protests - BBC News

  10. You said earlier: 2 is crap. Money has value, if you don't agree with me then give me yours and we'll call it a draw. Good luck getting more wine. 3 is naive lunacy. A) You can choose to value and aspire to whatever you want in a capitalist society, deep human connection or chattels, and b) your belief that the people at the top of the heap in socialist societies don't want 2 houses is only correct because, like Bernie Sanders, they want 3 or more.

  12. Tucker Carlson makes a good argument for there now being two systems of justice in the United States. One for the supporters of the new Corporate and Progressive Socialist left's agenda and the other for non-believers. https://www.foxnews.com/opinion/tucker-carlson-america-one-nation-two-justice-systems He uses the different ways "justice" was administered in the Babbitt versus Potter cases as a model.

  13. Nobody is forcing anyone to take vaccines. Based on latest poll some 80% of Canadians are going to take vaccines, millions impatiently waiting for their first shot/ People in their right minds will takes the vaccines willingly and look forward to it but those who believe in aliens trying to kidnap us , take over our planet or CIIA put microchips in our bodies will refuse and may risk getting sick or even die. Good for me if you refuse the vaccine, since this means my turn will come sooner.

  14. I know it sounds romantic. The New Soviet Man, was almost a good idea. But then that old motherin' human greed came in and kicked em right in the... whoopsie. As Gorbachev said, Sorry, plan failed komrads. Let's go home.

  15. You nailed it, fella. That is reality. There was a wealthy bourgeoisie in the USSR, and it was those in the communist party. All others were equally treated, but like dogs. You hef problem, komrad? #Disappeared Second, was the effect communism had on the attitude of the people. People became stupider. Simply put, nobody gave much of a shit about anything anymore. And why should they? The soviet union failed partly because of this. Accidents like the huge oil spill from their rotten pipeline in the Baltic, and the Chernobyl disaster were harbingers of the Soviet Union's demise. Those commie bastards reaped what they had sewn, to put it in biblical terms... and so my friend shall we.

  17. Speak about the pre 1990 era when we had USSR and the Eastern block was all socialist countries. The presidents used properties that were government owned and they had indeed more rights than the average person did but nothing too extravagant. You could not see a rich person to covet. All drove the same cars, if they had a car, ate the same food, went to the same places.

  20. There are some people who covet the wealth that rich people have and covet their property. This is Communism or Marxism. It is a great evil and condemned in the ten commandments in the Bible. (Exodus chapter 20 and in Deuteronomy) Private property is a God-given right. So coveting other people's property is directly against what God commanded in the ten commandments. Coveting and stealing are both wrong. But I understand some of these people simply cannot see their wrong ways. I pray for them. Coveting or thinking one has a right to other people's property is a great evil and cannot lead to anything good. I would urge them to reconsider their beliefs and read the Bible and consider God who created the world knows everything we think and do. If they doubt the existence of God, just look around at the amazing creation. Even such things as the beauty of the wild flowers, wild creatures, and birds demonstrate the power of our Creator. God is merciful and willing to forgive when people acknowledge their faults and failures and come to him in simple faith in his Son. That is the only way out of this dilemma and the mental trap they find themselves in.

  21. Which video? You mean the videos of guards opening the gates or the doors on one side of the building while a small group of provocateurs broke windows to get in on the other? Do you mean the videos showing patriots pulling provocateurs from their vandalism? Do you mean the videos of citizens following the guide ropes and the instructions of the guards away from the provocateurs? There are all kinds of videos of that event? You know what there's not. The sort of wide-spread damage and violence we saw at the summer BLM and Antifa riots. A woman protester was shot by a plain clothed agent they won't give the name of and a security officer died the following day of a stroke that may have been brought on by the events at the capitol.

  22. A Stay at Home Order doesn't mean anything if people can still go out and exercise, go to the Grocery Store and go to an "Essential" job. Why can't a Hair Salon stay open, but there's no law forcing factories, warehouses and manufacturing facilities to take the temperature of every person multiple times a day?
