  1. The primary purpose of impeachment is to remove a president from office. Democrats are now in the process of ruining another institution of government in order to “get” Trump. It reminds me of Moby Dick. Democrats need their whale, at all costs. Even if it further polarized the country. Meanwhile, there still isn’t a covid relief bill, and instead of having the senate in session for that, they’re going to run an impeachment trial in which the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court has refused to participate. There isn’t a more disgusting group of people. It’s going to be so fun when they get their ass handed to them in the mid term election and lose the house and senate by huge margins.

  2. A San Francisco teacher has been ridiculed for her 'performative wokeness' after she claimed that viral Bernie Sanders wearing mittens at President Joe Biden's inauguration was a lesson in 'white privilege and male privilege.' High school teacher Ingrid Seyer-Ochi penned the San Francisco Chronicle op-ed published on Sunday, nearly two weeks after Sanders and his mittens took the internet by storm. In it, she criticized the 79-year-old senator for wrapping up against the cold in his mittens and winter coat, while she claimed that his female colleagues, and especially women of color such as Vice President Kamala Harris, did not have the same opportunity to dress down for such a prestigious event. "Sen. Sanders is no white supremacist insurrectionist. But he manifests privilege, white privilege, male privilege and class privilege, in ways that my students could see and feel,' Seyer-Ochi, who earns six figures working for the San Francisco Unified School District, wrote. Ingrid Seyer-Ochi, a high school teacher in San Franscisco, has received criticism after publishing an op-ed calling Bernie Sanders' mittens a lesson in 'white privilege' https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9212253/San-Francisco-teacher-says-Bernie-Sanders-mittens-lesson-white-male-privilege.html

  5. The Dems are actually using the impeachment as a reason to keep the 25,000 guardsmen at the capitol, and the guardsmen are at the capitol to incite fear of the alt-right bogeyman. The Dems are just itching for something, anything to happen, which will seemingly legitimize large-scale actions against civilians including (but not limited to) the seizure of their guns.

  7. I don't think we have to look in the rearview mirror at Biden's long, long Senate career any longer, to figure out how he will act (or not) as a president. So far, now that the flowery rhetoric has begun to lose its petals, the Biden Admin's early actions reveal he is the same amoral, do anything to curry favor with powerful interests type -- Wall Street, big pharma and military+security police state complex leaders, and dismiss or give symbolism more than substance to grassroots base support groups that the Democrats depend on for votes at election time. So, among Biden's cabinet appointments are Janet Yellin who has been hopscotching between government and Wall Street bank and brokerage firms like every other finance appointment in recent decades....most noted for getting paid over $850,000 per speech by banking groups. Something that should be illegal on the face of it, but the obvious quid pro quo has to be overlooked, at least since the Dems ran Hillary Clinton for president! And among the rest, the most likely damaging appointment (for the American people) is Lloyd Austin, ret. Army general and until he was given a special deferment (another red flag) for being out of the military forces for less than the required 7 years, to become the new Defense Secretary. The whole point for that 7 year rule was to provide a buffer and maintain real civilian control of the Armed Forces....something US governments have given up on since JFK got himself accidentally shot! But then there's all the 'little' things that most people will only pay a passing glance to, since all of their Democratic Party-allied media and social media will not mention such negative stories more than once.....like the Biden Administration's decision to carry over the Trump decision to remove Grey Wolves from protection from hunters, as endangered species in the lower 48. This is one I did not expect! Now, it looks like the same environmental agencies and volunteer groups that fought Trump policies for four years, have to keep fighting the new Biden regime! What was that old line from "Who's Next?" - "Meet the new boss, same as the old boss".................... https://www.bloombergquint.com/onweb/biden-backs-trump-decision-to-strip-gray-wolf-of-protections

  9. Meanwhile back at the topic subject of "Dems Blatant Facism"... By his own definition, Biden is already governing like a dictator "I have this strange notion, we are a democracy ... if you can’t get the votes … you can’t [legislate] by executive order unless you’re a dictator. We’re a democracy. We need consensus.” Those are the words of Joe Biden. And, no, this isn't a matter of unearthing a clip from the 1980s or '90s in an attempt to play a game of gotcha on some antiquated flip-flop. That's Democratic nominee Biden, less than three weeks before the 2020 presidential election, talking to ABC News' George Stephanopoulos about the dangers of governing like a dictator." https://thehill.com/opinion/white-house/536317-by-his-own-definition-biden-is-already-governing-like-a-dictator

  12. You. Are. So. Desperate. Trump and his goons incited the violence from his deplorable sum-of-the-earth supporters. He told them to march on the capitol. I never said that was a verbatim quote You are so sad and desperate that you’re hanging your hat on that now....especially after all your false claims that Democrats especially Obama and Harris encouraged the riots! Funny now you’re like ‘but he said “to” not “on” and “walk” not “march” “ and then after demanding the quote for Eric as proof now you’re like but that was Eric not Donald”. Watching you constantly move the goalposts and contradict yourself and quibble over trivialities is entertaining! Oh and go ahead insult me some more, we all know that’s just your sad effort to redirect the topic of conversation to be about me and distract from your disgraced and crooked insurrection-inciting failed ex-president

  16. Anyone care to guess why that 9-year old got pepper sprayed? Could the fact that people like Michelle Obama support violence towards the police have anything to do with it? Even during the coverage of this incident, reporters neglect to mention that people don't have the right to assault police. That girl is lucky that this incident happened to her as a 9 year old instead of as a 19 year old, she might have been strong enough to put herself in a position where she got shot.

  17. For the umpteenth time, you lied, and that makes you a liar. Trump is the one who's accused of sedition, and you said that Trump told people to march on DC. That was a lie. Then you tried to act like the dictionary was wrong, that was you lying again. What Eric Trump says and what Donald Trump says are two different things Beave, you still lied.

  18. First your stupid magic word games are not how the world works He gathered a mob, worked it up into a violent frenzy and sent it to the capital where it committed violence...you think a silly preposition makes a diff? Like if I paid a hitman to shoot “towards” someone but don’t say the magic word “at” someone then I can just go to court with a dictionary and get found not responsible? Try finishing high school sometime to understand the world doesn’t run on magic words. You make Bill Clintons “definition of is is” argument seem like genius in comparison SECONDLY: You second been caught lying multiple times about your own stupid irrelevant magic word games now. At first you falsely claimed nobody used the word “march” even though the official name of the event was “March to save America” and Multiple people including Trump himself used the word “march”. And now you’re lying that you haven’t been provided the Eric Trump quote to “march on” despite the fact I’ve provided it to you at least twice. How convenient that you can’t recall it For the THIRD TIME NOW: “Have some backbone. Show some fight. Learn from Donald Trump,” Eric Trump told the crowd. “And we need to march on the Capitol today. “ https://www.google.ca/amp/s/www.politico.com/amp/news/2021/01/06/trump-threat-primaries-gop-lawmakers-455366 https://www.google.ca/amp/s/www.washingtonpost.com/national-security/federal-investigation-capitol-riot-trump/2021/01/07/178d71ac-512c-11eb-83e3-322644d82356_story.html%3foutputType=amp So you’re getting owned at your own stupid irrelevant magic word game and have resorted to lying. Typical.

  21. Update: City of Ottawa released a new version of Covid-19 information site, complete with "Source of infection" statistics. It took almost to day, a year. In the chart, please note exactly two (1, 2) informative columns: "outbreak"; "travel". And everything, including two unknown sources (out of 5) must be, according to the science of the day, due to a "Close contact". Now, a second year IT student should be able to put a bunch of CSV files online in basic diagrams on a two-week project (and does it show as though an attempt at sophistication has been made?). This is the service that we bought for a year of busy work and probably by a department. Ok I have only one question: sure this approach worked 150 years back in a rustic backwater of the world exporting lumber and beavers. But are we certain it's going to work in the 21st century, with problems like Covid, climate change, globalization and so on?

The only viable candidates for most important offices are corporate puppets in the corrupt US political system. Characters like Bernie and AOC are just for show but don’t ever stand a chance

  25. As long as the base loves Trump the political whores in the Republican Party will continue to bow before him. Greene is not the only nutjob in that party, either. There is a ton of money available for anyone who wants to primary sitting Republican leaders by promising to be further right than they are and cut taxes more. The moneymen don't care how nutty these people are as long as they promise to cut their taxes. Most Republican congressional seats are completely safe, either because of gerrymandering or because they're in deep red states. What they really fear is being primaried. That's the real election. The general election is an assumed win. Witness the aforementioned nut job Greene, and her soul sister Lauren Boebert. Along with other greasy types like Tommy Tuberville or Devin Nunes.

  26. The Republican Party is full of douchebags and sleazoids. Lauren Boebert is no different. They did none of that. China increased its trade deficit. Wall Street made record profits. Big Tech increased its power and profits. And the only thing they did for ordinary working men and women was take away much of their health care and let them die of covid.

  27. Mainstream news media hold a tremendous power ............. .......................for the simple reason that the public has relied on them for OBJECTIVE, UNBIASED, ACCURATE news.......WITHOUT ANY INJECTED OPINION OF THE NETWORK, or newscaster! Society of Professional Journalists Preamble Members of the Society of Professional Journalists believe that public enlightenment is the forerunner of justice and the foundation of democracy. Ethical journalism strives to ensure the free exchange of information that is accurate, fair and thorough. An ethical journalist acts with integrity. The Society declares these four principles as the foundation of ethical journalism and encourages their use in its practice by all people in all media. Seek Truth and Report It Ethical journalism should be accurate and fair. Journalists should be honest and courageous in gathering, reporting and interpreting information. Journalists should: – Take responsibility for the accuracy of their work. Verify information before releasing it. Use original sources whenever possible. – Remember that neither speed nor format excuses inaccuracy. – Provide context. Take special care not to misrepresent or oversimplify in promoting, previewing or summarizing a story. – Gather, update and correct information throughout the life of a news story. – Be cautious when making promises, but keep the promises they make. – Identify sources clearly. The public is entitled to as much information as possible to judge the reliability and motivations of sources. – Consider sources’ motives before promising anonymity. Reserve anonymity for sources who may face danger, retribution or other harm, and have information that cannot be obtained elsewhere. Explain why anonymity was granted. – Diligently seek subjects of news coverage to allow them to respond to criticism or allegations of wrongdoing. – Avoid undercover or other surreptitious methods of gathering information unless traditional, open methods will not yield information vital to the public. – Be vigilant and courageous about holding those with power accountable. Give voice to the voiceless. – Support the open and civil exchange of views, even views they find repugnant. – Recognize a special obligation to serve as watchdogs over public affairs and government. Seek to ensure that the public’s business is conducted in the open, and that public records are open to all. – Provide access to source material when it is relevant and appropriate. – Boldly tell the story of the diversity and magnitude of the human experience. Seek sources whose voices we seldom hear. – Avoid stereotyping. Journalists should examine the ways their values and experiences may shape their reporting. – Label advocacy and commentary. – Never deliberately distort facts or context, including visual information.
