So you refuse to defend or comment on Fundamentalism Islam. Your opinion is just that Western Imperialism is much worse. I can entertain that position, the US have done horrible things in the name of Pragmatism. Doesn't make being ruled by a conservative interpretation of Islam is a good thing.2 points

People come out of Canadian prisons with PTSD due to the violence and living conditions, so its not really that much of a joke. You might think that doesn't matter, they're criminals and shouldn't have it rough. That's not a problem until they get out of prison and can't function effectively in society because of it. I think @Newfoundlander makes a good point that deporting terrorists may only make them more of a threat because unless that country agrees to jail that person permanently, they can simply work from outside the country. How likely is it that Canada has agreements with all these countries to jail people our legal system has convicted?1 point

Well stated... And I am still waiting for an answer how could a ban on Muslims like Iranians can make America safe again. You heard the same argument from Trump supporters blaming the 'liberals', 'media', 'Obama', Hillary and so on. Just like anyone they are discontent with... On Dutch election....an interesting uptake by the Guardian on how the Brexit press miscalculated the election in Holland: The alarmist Brexit press got everything wrong about the Dutch elections https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2017/mar/20/brexit-press-dutch-elections-geert-wilders1 point

The whole notion for posting that article was to emphasise on the ridiculousness of the EO by Trump which initially didn't have any legal basis and subsequently upheld by the supreme court. The article about the plight of Afghan refugees was posted to illustrate that even a country like Iran some like to reference it with 'primitive laws' have taken a positive step towards refugee resettlement efforts...The new travel ban in US or Travel Ban 2 still does not address the security concerns by banning these countries and leaving out real culprits like Saudi Arabia, Egypt and UAE (the phoney allies...) Which brings me to my next point re: "Muslim Ban". A comment, which I have invariably seen repeated by Trump supporters... Iran is a majority Muslim country so are the rest of the counties in the revised banned list. So this whole notion that it is not a 'Muslim ban' is absurd since all those 6 countries are Muslims. Obviously, not the whole 1.5 billion Muslims in the world. IMO it is a radical view to not call it a Muslim ban just because 1.5 billion Muslims around the world are not included in that list... But more importantly, getting away with these semantics this is about people and not just labels.... Muslims are citizens of those countries (they could be lawyers, PHD students and professionals) that have been indiscriminately punished and disallowed entry to US of A. A country that is meant to be the beacon of democracy and an example to look upon is failing miserably in this regard... Like I said I am no advocate of the regime in Iran but trying to remain factual and unbiased especially when it comes to dealing with ordinary people and refugees.. If you finished reading the article I posted that would have addressed your concern here.... The recency of the article in the Independent should give a hint that the UN has already addressed the school issue for Afghan children refugees. The article was just published on 16th March 2017! The article you posted comes from Wiki which is: 1- Not a vetted source 2- There is no date to validate the recency as changes to the law may have already taken place vis-à-vis the plight of Afghan children at school Well I wouldn't sound as melodramatic as you but if the governments including the US wanted to make efforts to really make their country safe again they could certainly make the efforts and deal with pertinent issues above more objectively.... But, I guess that would be wishful thinking....1 point

Well, last I heard landed immigrants can be deported under the law if they commit certain crimes. How a criminal conviction can lead to deportation Even if not deported, they might not be permitted to become citizens after committing certain offences (presumably felonies), leaving the door open for deportation in event of future crimes.1 point

You keep changing goal posts...Your argument was that they cannot assimilate hence the ban. Now blaming it on security issues. That is totally different argument... Now to the point...Exactly how is refusing a PHD medical student a security issue to US? Many travel on student visas. The first travel ban even did not allow green card holders. This has now been revised and quite rightly so. Your assumptions on lack of security or lack of cooperation on the part Iranian government is subjective based on your judgement of what the US deems as a security issue at its borders. Reality is such a ban would only punish genuine people from travelling to US or who may be running away from prosecution in their country and nothing to do with them being a threat to the security IMHO in which case one would question the integrity of the travel ban and who it is aimed at....1 point

I wish people would educate themselves soon, I see the effects every week in the media, more and more suicides, i hear from my comrades that so and so, has lost everything money, home, family and was last seen downtown toronto homeless, i also hear to many stories of vets losing homes, and everything the bank owns, they worked all their careers to get, because pensions payments are 4-5-6 months late, try telling your bank Hey our government is good for the money.....they smile,...and tell you sorry they is nothing we can do, you have 60 days to make good on all your payments....60 days come and goes, the sheriff or RCMP arrive at your home to kick you out....you have served the nation for 25 plus years, been on countless tours of duty, risked your life on each one at least once. the police guy shrugs his shoulders....sorry, i'm just doing my job... it is a slap in your face, that everything you believed in is starting to crumble....you thought that would not happen in Canada.....we are wrong....it happens all the time....and it is happening to our vets.... How many times has the soldier that lost both of his legs in combat in the service of his country, had to prove to his government that he did in fact loss his legs , and that by some miracle they did not grow back...every year he does this every year it gets reported in the media....he is not alone, and his numbers grow daily....1 point

That is not the case at all, the military does have it's own medical care system, and for specialist they are contracted out like anything else they don't have....they are the cheapest bidders.....like any branch or job you have a broad spectrum of talent, some good, most average, and some losers....during the afghan conflict our surgeons were some of the best in the world, on one tour they could receive a life time of experience...after the conflict they took that experience and moved on to the civilian world....not all of them but most of them...it was not so we would have a better health care system, but rather more of our injuries are not unique to the civilian world, wounds such as gun shot, or from explosives, or severe burns.....not saying they don't happen in the civilian world just that they are less common...The Canadian hospital in KAF would see hundreds of soldiers each day around the clock....from the stomach flu, to people blown up losing both legs from the hips down was a common injury in a IED blast, it takes a special person to see and work with that every day for 6 months at a time..... Once soldiers are deemed unfit for military duty, the are released....back into civilian world....where we are not accepted as one of you, we are told we need to wait the manitory 6 months before we can get provincial medicare coverage, we are not entitled to work mans comp, but have to apply to the VAC for some form of compensation, such as getting wheel chair access into your home, to make your home wheel chair friendly....do you know who use to do all of that....Canadian soldiers would get to together build it for their returning buddy out of their own pockets....the family would not only have to deal with receiving their father/ husband back from the US hospital in Germany who had everything amputated from the hips down, but the spouse would have to go to the bank and secure a loan to improve the inside of the house...159 members were killed in Afghanistan.....10 times that were wounded.....so it happened a lot.... VAC was suppose to be for vets.....and yet the entire process to have a claim read or actioned was done by a committee that had never served, never been to combat, had no idea on what the military did....so when your trying to explain to them that a rucksack weighed in at 110 lbs, plus you had on top of that your fighting kit that weighed in at another 40 lbs....they could not fathom just how heavy that is....and have shrugged that piece of evidence off as to contributing to back problems...Note: Every committee is made up of different people all the time, so they do not benefit from any experience... These committees are made up of the average Canadian citizen, and they want the biggest bang for their tax dollar....I am not sure what they are briefed before they start deliberation, but only a few rare cases have been awarded the maximum claim which today is 360,000 a one time payment....every blue moon is when the maximum is awarded , normally done when the member has died....but not in all cases, death of a member is not an automatic maximum pay out.....Note that a member if his condition gets worse can reapply for another hearing and if it is positive then may receive a smaller pay out....But it will not exceed the maximum of 360,000 in one life time.... Problem with a payout is once the vet pays all of his bills there is not enough to live off for the rest of his life.....that is why we wanted to bring back the monthly check back in, so the pay out last longer and in some cases lasts until CPP kicks in.... Just for the record Dept of vet affairs has turned in Bils of unused tax dollars most years.... So where do soldiers turn to in their time of need , freinds and family, but for a vet with PTSD even family has a limit on patients and money, these people men and women are then forced onto the streets.... It's one thing to buy a bumper sticker and say you support our troops....it's another to write your MP and demand things change.....it is not right what is happening.... So when you say this is a bureaucrats problem ...your right , but we all know they won't take action until the people demand they do.....so until then Vets get the shitty end of the stick....1 point

Part of that is because people respond really well to fear mongerers. For example lots of people support Trumps "muslim immigration ban" or whatever they are calling it now, because Trump has successful pitched Muslims as a threat to the safety of Americans. But if you look at the actually data the opposite is true. Muslims are statistically LESS likely to kill Americans than other Americans. That means that every time a Muslim immigrates to the US Americans are actually statistically a bit safer. So the entire thing is based on an easily demonstrable false premise. But people don't care because firebrand rhetoric is fun, but data and statistics are boring. Same thing In Canada where a large segment of the population supports this moronic "Canadian Values" test. A solution is being proposed before it has even been demonstrated that there is a statistically significant problem. Same thing goes for the war on terror where the west has spent about 6 trillion dollars combating a threat that is 1/7th as likely to kill them as being struck by lightening. We don't live in an evidence based reality anymore.1 point

Wilders is a strange man. He will in some speeches sound quite moderate and logical then in other speeches sound like an SS officer. As for Ayaan Hirsi Ali who is no longer in the Dutch Parliament. she was never a bigot like Wilders. She was a very precise woman in language challenging fundamentalist Muslim ideology and in particular how it impacted negatively on minorities and women. Ali is no Wilders or vice versa. In Wilders own party you have extremist neo Nazis but also very moderate people who hate fundamentalism.. There is just no point trying to label Dutch politicians. They say what they feel and it crosses party lines. We have Muslim women in Canada like Ali. They too have faced a lot of backlash from mainstream fundamentalism Islamic clerics.1 point

No and I was specific at this one but not intended to hate Muslims. I say what I said because this is what Muslim leaders in Europe are saying. The majority of Muslims have problems Europe according to their leaders. Now before you assume I am accusing Muslims of not wanting to assimilate or are bad people let's clarify. I do not know or claim to know how many Muslims are moderate or not in Europe. I do not know ok? Let's get that clear. I am also not about to smeer all Muslims in Europe as terrorists or extremists. I wil go so far in generalities to say most came to get a better life and get away from Muslim extremism. However Muslim communities are having problems assimilating especially their youth according to their leaders. Within their communities young Muslims are prone to recruitment to extremist groups. Many Muslims due to lack of language schools have given up looking for work. Many Muslims feeling the brunt of distrust from mainstream European society are turning inwords. So the mainstream Muslim leaders are now speaking out saying, we have assimilation problems. When I say assimilate I mean it in the sense of getting jobs, moving about freely and not dependent on staying within ghettoes and feeling comfortable interacting with non Muslims. The breakdown is happening. Some if it is language problems,. Some of it is because it takes 2-4 generations for assimilation to occur. Some f it is deliberate religious ideology to resist assimilation. Its complex. There is a "Muslim" problem. Don't assume I mean it as a negative reflection on Muslims o r I use it the way Hitler did with Jews. I get your concern. Its not how I meant it. There's a problem with "Turks" in Europe as well. There's a problem with "Romas". There's definitely a problem for ultra-orthodox or visible Jewish people in Europe often triggered by the same bigots who hate Muslims other times by Muslims.. Its not meant to insult anyone when I say that. Its just a fact. Le Penn, Wilders, that whole lot, you know they are going to exploit the social assimilation adjustment issues. That's what they do. They do what Hitler once did, but not at Hitler's level not yet anyways. Trump's doing it. They pick up on discontent and resentment and they run with it to get votes. Trudeau does it only in reverse to get ethnic votes by pandering to minorities stereotyping them all assuming they need his support. The more visible in clothing a Muslim, the more the problem they will experience on the street no different than any other minority,. Muslims who choose to remain segregated and demand public places be segregated for only their use, add to this problem. I am not blaming them or anyone I am just stating it as a fact. You close a public swimming pool and only allow Muslim women to swim it breeds resentment. Marcus I do not believe any ethnic or religious group should demand a public place be used exclusively only for their own group and that includes Jews, Christians, Muslims. I do believe certain Muslim groups demand public swimming pools, etc., be segregated for them and that adds to the problem in Europe. There was a time people said well Jews bring it on themselves in Europe because they dress and speak differently. They've said that about the Roma for centuries. Its a tough issue. If you embrace a culture or ethnicity or religion in a manner that segregates you by your own choosing from the majority of your society, you will bring resentment on yourself. Its one thing to have that segregation forced on you so you have no choice but to turn inwards. Its another when you choose to do it, and in all assimilation issues its a mix of both. What I am saying is I can't expect the majority society if its not Jewish to accommodate my religion by taking their public places and exclusively making them available only to Jewish people. Its not right. Many Muslims are demanding that so they create a back-lash. Now if a woman chooses to cover herself head to toe yes skinheads and even moderate Europeans are going to frown on it. I am not saying its right or wrong but I am saying its a clash of values and a problem. I also think its unrealistic to pretend the Muslim ghettos within France, Germany, Belgium, Austria, etc., are not real or the religious rituals that intentionally or unintentionally create segregation and difference are not problematic to adjusting to Europeam society. They are. We have to talk openly about it. Europe has always been elitist. Some call it racist but Portugese when they went into Africa could care less about skin colour when they exploited Angola and Mozambique. European culture is one of a sort of sense of entitlement to colonial resources that no longer exist so they have lots of people from their former colonies who moved to their countries and they created the first tier or layer of assimilation issues often defined as racism but is more complex than just skin colour. In Europe your accent, your economic status, your family name, where you are born, who you are related to, its all part of it. You have deeply entrenched class systems based on far more than skin colour and you add brown people with Muslim religion to it, it doesn't mix easy. Its already a layered class society even when you are white. That's what I am trying to say. You have a right to challenge me on any generalization. I admit all generalizations are inaccurate. This one I only meant for discussion purposes not to suggest Muslims are to blame. I mean to discuss adjustment problem without blaming anyone. I am trying to talk about the problems without negatively blaming Muslims or anyone in Europe. Me personally I think Wilders is a very hurtful man He has said some very very hateful things. The Dutch PM who was elected is trying to be open and blunt about the assimilation problems without stereotyping all Muslims as extremists but none-the-less he is talking openly about problems. He's not Trudeau. He's polite, but he does not shy away from the adjustment issues. I now am going to generalize again . I have ben to Holland a few times. Dutch people are pretty tolerant but once you insult them they have enough. They have had for years a social adjustment issue with Mollucans. They will take criticism over being racist up to a point, then they get fed up. Dutch have limits. I spent some time in Amsterdam and Rotterdam. Dutch appreciate brains in people. They are a trading country, They trade everything so they are open to about anything. Their attitudes about sex, drugs, culture, art its a lot different than in North America. Things that seem morally outrageous to Canada or the US they wouldn't even notice. These are pretty open minded people. You take someone who comes from a traditional Muslim ideology and stick them in Holland they will probably find Dutch peoples' views on drugs, sex, art, politics, night and day different. Its not an easy gap to bridge. There's been a lot of tension in Holland over the murder of an artist by a Muslim when the artist was perceived as ridiculing Muhamed. Holland is about critiquing all religions. Holland has issues it is still resolving about Germany during WW2. It has a very strange and loving relationship with its Jews and Israel that allows it to be at times critical with Israel like no other European nation can precisely because of its decision to not buckle under with oil boycotts int he late 60's by Arab nations to punish Europe for supporting Israel's existence. Holland can and does criticize Israeli foreign policy but in a way that never questions the right of Israel to exist. It took the holocaust to heart and has a deep connection to how it impacted in Holland. It had its share of anti-Semites and the invasion of Nazi Germany pushed it to question and reject that anti-Semitism as well as fascism and totalitarianism. Dutch do not like fascism or communism, They like certain kinds of socialism particularly with medical care but you can't tell a Dutch person the government should tell them how to think or any religion should tell them how to think. These are people that decide first and foremost as individuals.Their form of Protestant Christianity was about reform-questioning rigid ideology. Dutch people question everything. Maybe its because they are traders so it comes natural to ask about everything they are going to buy and sell. They are a vibrant people that way. Their entire society is about finding out something new.Call it the import-export influence of their no.1 economic activity. They don't go around envying people for having things they find a way to share and get those things in exchange for something else. Its a trading society. Traders exchange ideas constantly. So when they run into orthodox ideologies that can't flex and give and take, their is going to be a clash. I have made a lot of generalizations and I am sure anyone Dutch will smile about what I said because its not 100% true butfor discussion purposes is accurate enough to say you can't expect a Dutch person to put up with people who won't give and take. Compromise is Dutch. The problem though is the Dutch are not people who are afraid to talk openly about any intolerance and challenge it. Doesn't make them anti Muslim but boy they will challenge fundamental Islam like they once did Catholicism. Hope that explains it because Holland is a wonderful but complex nation of creative free thinkers and its a mistake to think they are not having problems with their Muslim communities. Their own Muslim leaders are open and frank about it. Let's not let idiots like Le Penn or Wilders prevent open discussion about it.1 point

What is even more ridiculous is some members who could not previously differentiate between Iranians and Arabs are now all of a sudden a keyboard expert on Iranians as if the colour of skin is the barometer for assimilation into Canadian culture and society. At the expense of the social democrats who fell from 25% to 6% and seatwise from 38 to 9. A total and utter humiliation and annihilation. They were the junior partners in the government the two parties and it seems that while the Liberals also lost popularity and seats but remained the largest party it was the social democrats who took the beating for unpopular policies. Only because Wilders failed to make such gains as expected it is a false analysis to state that the election was a victory for status quo. Far from it. The protest-votes were scattered more widely than to benefit Wilders alone.1 point

Holland like many European nations has serious issues with the assimilation of Muslims, Mollucans, Africans. Those issues are real. The leader the press created as some right wing Donald Trump was never anything other than a fringe politician. The press crated him. The Dutch never supported him as wide spread as the media tried to claim. The current Dutch leader has not pretended or denied there are assimilation issues. In fact he had to come clean about them in a very public way and state he would have to look into defining limitations as to how many people the Netherlands can take in and how much accommodation is possible. He got elected because he talked directly about those issues and refused to ignore them and paint a pretty picture. I think trying to falsely stereotype Holland as not caring about such issues because they did not vote for some bigot is absurd. The bigot they did not vote for was ignorant. He made deliberately ignorant hateful comments. Had he spoken intelligently and not used such words he would have gotten more votes. The current Dutch leader is a gentleman. He phrases his words carefully and carries himself with dignity but you are making a mistake thinking he is not concerned about Muslim assimilation issues in Holland or Dutch people are not. They have issues no different than the rest of Europe. The days of being able to accommodate those Muslims who do not wish to assimilate is coming to conflict. The fact Holland chose a person who will not engage in bigoted statements and hatred to deal with the issue does not mean he is not going to deal with it. Some people think there is no problem in Europe with Muslims assimilating and if you say there is, its just racism and bigotry stating that. That is not true. Dutch people are famous for their tolerance but poll after poll shows they are very concerned with the future of their country and Muslims in Holland who are not assimilating into its culture.1 point

Perhaps they care what happens in their country. Could it be that the 'silent majority' is really the progressives, that while right-wing, anti-immigrant nationalists are noisy and grab news headlines and sound bites, they really do not speak for the majority? You will note in the responses from Altai which vary from fragmented broken English to perfect English, there is a constant and continuing reference from her telling others they are liars or no being truthful but she is. That’s very interesting because as per sharia law “taqiyya” or lying, is permitted and even obligatory in specific situations. A classic example of when “lying” is acceptable is seen today when “shia” Muslims pretend to be “Sunni” Muslims. For example its done in Saudi Arabia by Shias, because Shias are defined in Saudi Arabia as heretics, traitors and infidels. Inversely, Sunnis practice taqiyy when they find themselves living as a minority. Now of course Altia won’t discuss or disclose taquiyya, the act of lying and when its deemed acceptable in Sharia law. If she did that, then her comments that Muslims don’t like would fall apart not to mention her attempts to portray only Muslims truthful. Today and she will never acknowledge it, taquiyya or lying is widespread in the world of Islam. All its sects practice it and when they don’t like Ismailis or Amdiyyah Muslims, they are defined as non Muslims. Koran 3:28, 2:173, 2:185, 4:29, 22:78, 40:28 all set out when lying is acceptable and in Koran 3:28 it states, “ Let believers not take for friends and allies infidels instead of nob believers. Whoever does this shall have no relationship left with Allah-unless you but guard yourselves against them taking precautions.” If you read the above Sharia law makes it quite acceptable for Muslims to lie to infidels if they believe it is for the better good of making the world Muslim and defeating infidels and either killing them or converting them all and that is a crucial fact to keep in mind when anyone let alone Altai poses as a Muslim preacher claiming truth and speaking down to the non believer. Sharia law allows her to lie and deceive. For those of us who have lived in the Muslim world where its not separated from state, we are well aware of this. What makes it interesting though is Altai made the claim that Sharia law practices morality in war when she is fully aware taqiyya is a perfectly acceptable technique of war. You see in her world, lying as long as you are Muslim and the person you lie to is not Muslim and its done to achieve Muslim victory and betterment, then its moral and I would suggest to you therefore that when this person or any Muslim poses as a preacher you be aware of the rules you are working with and that is the person preaching to you can and is a liar because her religion allows her to be. There’s also another technique Muslim preachers can use to mislead you ansd it comes from the Koran verse 2:105 which allows a Muslim to ignore earlier sayings from Muhammed and go with the later sayings of Muhammed if they contradict one another. So using this technique Muslim preachers quote the older sections, and then if they don’t make sense, jump to newer ones to avoid them. Now I wish to address the out and out falsehood I claim Altai stated when she claimed Sharia law engages in morality in how it is applied to war. In passage 8:39 of the Koran which I point out is universally agreed to by all schools of Sunni jurisprudence, it is believed war against non Muslims, not just Jews but all non Muslims, (atheists, Bahaiis, Buddhists, Hindus, Jains, Siekhs, agnostics, Christians, atheists, Bahaiis, Zoroastreans, Yazidi, Assyrian, Berber, Druze, Kurd, Wiccans, etc.) will continue indefinitely until such time the entire world’s people convert and submit to Islam. So what Altai will not tell you is that Sharia law is the formula the Muslims will use to enforce this submission using state apparatus to do so. Not only that, Sharia law specifically believes and states in that section that there is never any peace with Muslims until world Islamic submission is achieved. At best you can get a temporary treaty with Muslims on their consent. What Altai will not adit is that jihad, is the religious duty to be carried out by every Muslim to help turn the world Muslim because until all people are Muslim the world remains imperfect and morally diseased and a danger to Muslims. In fact when Muhammad went to war he stated that ten years was the longest Muslims could remain in peace with non Muslims as per the Treaty of Hudaibya which occurred about 628 AD when he was at war with his Quraish opponents. In fact Muhammed broke it after 2 years, justifying his breaking it stating that the only purpose of a peace treaty (hudna) is to give Muslims time to regroup and strengthen themselves so they can return to fighting when they are stronger. This is why Muhamed said in the Hadith, “ if TItake an oath and later find something else better, I do what is better and break my oath.” (Sahih Bukhari V7B67N427.) Please understand that because years later people have accused the state of Israel for refusing to sign peace treaties with the Palestinian Authority, Hamas, Hezbollah. In fact when Israel did sign a comprehensive peace treaty with Yasir Arafat, Arafat was later caught in South Africa when he was thought he was off radio, stating- “we may have signed the peace treaty with them but we have no intention of following it..” When he got caught red-handed admitting his lie, he then quoted the Treaty of Hyudaibya and what Muhammed said, and then stated Israel and the US should have realized he was lying all along and as a loyal Muslim he was allowed to lie to infidel and use the treaty as a cover to re-arm. He quoted the laws of Islam and this is a vivid example of why when people who do not understand Islam, lecture Israelis to sign peace treaties with such Muslims, they don’t understand the treaties mean nothing to those Muslims, not a damn thing. This is why when Iran signed the treaties it did with the US and Europe over nuclear weapons it could lie and it does not consider itself ever bound by the agreements it entered into. Anyone who understands Muslim, especially Muslims, understand this. This is why the Sunni Muslim world is now in a proxy war in Yemen, Bahrain, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Sudan, Chad, Niger, Tunisia, Algeria, Mali, Malawi, Dahomey, Senegal, Tanzania, Kenya, Somalia, Eritrea, Djibouti, Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, China, Russia, Pakistan Afghanistan Bangla Desh, Turkey, Chechnya, Croatia-Serbia-Albania, Nigeria, Iran, Sunni and Shia Muslims engage in war against each other and against Zoroastreans, Christians, Jews, Bahais, Kurds Yazidi, Assyrian, on and on and on. There is no truth to rely on. Words are not binding between Muslims at war with one another or others. That I would suggest is sharia law and makes it immoral. The same PLO leaer Yasir Arafat who admitted who ripped up his peace treaties saying they meant nothing was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize! The same Barak Obama whose family were all Muslim on his father's side and his step-father, was brought upo in Indonesia and went to a Muslim school. He signed a treaty with Iran he knows is not binding and helped Turkey arm and train Sunni Islamic mercenaries to topple Ghaddafi in Libya and then Assad in Syria which then turned into ISIL and he too was awarded a Nobel Peace prize. Where was Obama when his half brother became the no. 1 financier of the Sudanese government getting in money so it could wage a civil war to wipe out Christians and animists in the South of Sudan? I tell you where Obama was, He was in the same place he was when Boca Ration in Nigeria started wiping out and is still wiping out Christians. He was in the same place he was when his ally President Morsi of Egypt allied with President Erdogan of Turkey called on Egyptians to kill en masse Ciptic Christians and Assyrians. He was in the same place he was when Turkey allied with Iran, engaged in chemical warfare against the Kurds. I would argue he ventured into the same world Altai now lives in, one that is called DENIAL and I do not mean the Nile River in Egypt. Honour, morality in Sharia law? What absolute horse crap. Hamas and the Palestinian Authority have constitutions quoting Islam and sharia law as their justification. They make it clear by their very constitutions their goal is based on sharia law, the need to turn the world Muslim and they see taking back Israel, the West Bank, Jordan and the Gaza as but Part 1 in this war. It is a favourite tactic of extremist Muslims to smokescreen and lie about their true agenda because they can lie. Its permissible. When you live in a Muslim world, the message they speak to Muslims is far different than the one they say to non Muslims. They start with verse 60:4 of the Koran, one, Altai will never acknowledge because it states “So there is an enmity, evidenced by fierce hostility from the heart. And this fierce hostility-that is battle-ceases only if the infidel submits to the authority of Islam, or if his blood is forbidden from being shed, or if Muslims are at the point in time weak and incapable. But if the hate at any time extinguishes from the heart that is great apostasy! Such then is the basis and foundation of the relationship between the infidel and the Muslim. Battle, animosity and hatred, directed from the Muslim to the infidel, is the foundation of our religion. And we consider this a justice and kindness to them.” It also states: “We renounce you. Enmity and hate shall forever reign between us-till you believe in Allah alone”. I also remind you the Koran says if a Muslim finds themselves in a compromised state by an infidel, they can lie to protect themselves. I also remind you the enmity, the fierce hostility from the heart, the battle that never ceases, is a religious obligation and being hateful of non Muslims is called an act of kindness. Now we in Canada believe its wrong to say all Muslims think like that. I myself am the first to argue we must be careful not to stereotype all Muslims as thinking this way just because sharia law and the Koran say this. I mean after all does the Bible not say hateful things and we don’t follow its hateful passages. Also we hear the argument that if a Muslim is extremist or terrorist then we should not call them Muslim anymore because Islam does not say that. The fact is however it does state that and it will b e up to brave Muslims to stand up, speak up and denounce such beliefs, the way Christians once did with their own religion and Jews did before that. The fact is we don’t know at this point how to distinguish a modern, moderate Muslim who has rejected this part of their religion from the extremists. What we do have we are people like Altai posing as they do as young modern girls in image but at the same time embracing archaic Sharia law and leaders and evidencing blatant electivity in what they will discuss. What I do argue is that secular Muslims, moderate Muslims here in Canada and across the world should speak out and denounce Altai or anyone else hijacking their religion and posing it as she does. May I better not hold my breath on this forum waiting for that to happen.1 point

Actually no. People on the 'left wing' side of any issue are the only ones demanding that opposing views be silenced by the state.1 point

Nonsense. If that were true than Wilders would have won a hell of a lot more seats than he did. Not exactly. He pitched the religious violence of the Muslim world as a threat to the safety of Americans, which, after 9/11, cannot be intelligently disputed. The degree of the danger can be. But it's also not just about physical danger. It's about 'the other'. Another indisputable point is that people throughout the world feel more comfortable around others who are like themselves. Americans in certain communities find themselves among too many people who do not appear to be at all like them, and do not, to them, appear to respect America's values and culture. The most visible of these is Muslims. And again, you're ignoring the reality of why Canadians want a values test. It isn't a 'segment' btw, but the great majority. And it's not that they fear Muslim terrorism but that they fear Muslim values as their numbers climb.0 points

I never said or insinuated that this was a victory for the status quo. Personally, I like that the typical stale parties received less votes and lost more power. The PPFD and the Social Democrats are a lot like the Clinton Democrats in the United States. They're mainstream fence sitters and even though they have held onto power, they've also lost a lot seats. Which gives away to the true leftist parties whose priority is the environment.-1 points

This is support and questions section, so people ask for some support from forum authorities or they ask questions to forum authorities. I kindly asked ordinary users not to jump because I am not interested with their replies and also I dont take many of them serious. So this would just cause a pollution in my topic. I dont dictate anything to anyone, I have no power on you. Dictate means giving orders or telling others what they must do. So you used the word wrongly and you did it deliberately or without being aware of its meaning. So now please apologize to me for your slander or you will be the new guy in my ignore list and you will stay there foreever-1 points

You don't seem to be aware of the facts. 9-11 killed around 3,000 people. Since 9-11, more than 30,000 people have been killed by jihad terrorist attacks around the world, including a lot of Muslims. They don't seem to care if Muslims are killed as well, but many christians are killed every week in some parts of the world. Hundreds of people are killed every week or month by jihad terrorists. The west cannot just sit back and do nothing. That is not a sensible approach. The truth is these jihad terrorists believe they will go to heaven right away and receive 72 virgins if they die fighting for Allah. That is the simple fact. That's why we see often that lone wolf attacks are often perpetrated by unstable, individuals with mental issues and who may have a criminal record, but who believe they can escape all their problems by dying in jihad and get those 72 virgins.-1 points

That is the text of the Email I received, except for the last sentence which is not relevant. There is no link because it was info in an Email. I posted it because it is not private information and is part of an important political issue which should be discussed. Whoever gave me a thumbs down, If you want to give me a thumbs down, at least have the courtesy of explaining why. Don't want it brought out in the light or what?-1 points
