After sending billions of hard earned Canadian tax dollars to the Ukraine, Freeland takes a job as an advisor to the Ukraine

Well she is saying that she'll step down from her seat now. I guess enough people complain that they realize they couldn't pull it off

Nobody is targetted more than Freeland on Faceback, chiefly from bot accounts which I don't doubt are Russian-based.  She was working to free Ukraine even as a STUDENT and the fact that she continues to be smeared online actually is a compliment to her integrity IMO.

Ukraine appears to be a rather corrupt country and I doubt Freeland has any concerns about that.

Why have the Liberals been sending tens of billions to Ukraine? No surprise, but there is a Brookfield connection so Mark Carney stands to make a lot of money from the reconstruction.

Brookfield Asset Management's Role in Rebuilding Ukraine
Brookfield Asset Management is poised to play a significant role in the rebuilding of Ukraine due to its focus on infrastructure and renewable energy investments. The firm is actively engaging with various sectors that are crucial for Ukraine’s recovery and economic reformation.

What do you think is her motivation ............ play for an international audience?

I forgot about that. Her uncle or grandfather or whatever was a severe Nazi

Oh... I don't know... maybe to be a key player in a fight that is actually important to millions of people and the whole world then retire to a quiet public life ?

Or maybe load her pockets with kickback money before and during the current war ?

My point is: why speculate about the important chess pieces when we are just pawns ?  You will never know the truth in your lifetime nor will I.

This also applies to people who believe so strongly in a Trump OR a Biden that they make characterizations of their good beyond anything useful...

...... indeed.

However, not sure what good she could possibly do............ as advisor?

A post from the U.S. president underscored their past tussling over trade and other issues. In the message, Trump continued his running troll of Canada, likening it to an American state, then adding a personalized insult of a former interlocutor who once frustrated him. (Freeland)

She negotiated with a foreign government about a new job while sitting as an MP in our Parliament, and even seemed to want to keep both jobs initially until resigning lol.

Not sure why any country would want the advice of a senior architect of the Trudeau gov anyways.  Maybe just to give advice on countering Trump.

At least she's practicing her strut elsewhere now.

Isn't "The Devil Wears Prada" the one whose grandfather was a Nazi?

Her ties to Naziism make her a slam dunk for Ukraine right now.

Peety moaning by people so brainwashed by partisan BS they can't think antmore.

WTF does the amount of aid sent to Ukraine have to do with this? Nothing unless you're a Russian symp!

She's of Ukrainian extraction, very familiar with the issues and earned the honour of being asked to be an advisor. Taking no pay for it and leaving a Liberal seat open for a byelection - which should please a Tory supporter - but NOOO just more petty pi**ing and moaning and unfounded criticism from the moaners and whiners that seem to think that makes a party platform.
