Automation is the key here. Yes labor cost in the USA is high and scarced but with the right investment and tariff barriers, manufacturers can be competitive. Ideally, this should be done with out tariff but to tool up we need to provide incentives to investers who wants to compete domestically.

Hilarious how your posted "evidence" has a question mark, and YOUR TITLE has TWO exclamation points.

IOW, YOU'RE LYING.

Manufacturing is coming back to the USA. That's just a fact. Such news is good for the USA. Which begs the question...

It's okay, they exist in every modern western democracy. They willl cut off their own nose to spite Trump, they only worship the Obamas of yester years.

Automation though

It's the only way to compete in a high labor cost enviroment. But this requires a large captial investment to automate. I see Trump tariff being used to help with this capital crunch.

His allegiances lie with Soros and the rest of the globalist overlords.

I think I can speak for robomarx in saying that he is extremely excited about his upcoming gender reassignment surgery. It's what Karl would've wanted. ;)

Explain to me how this helps America substantially?  Automation doesn't create new jobs, and while it's cheaper than domestic labor it's not necessarily cheaper than the labor costs in the countries where it was previously being done.

I can see that perhaps it means that local aluminum manufacturing and such gets a little bit of a boost from increased local sales but it would be tiny in the extreme.

There's obviously a small supply chain advantage but there was never really a big problem with that when it comes to bikes

So if this isn't boosting jobs, And it's not substantially contributing to the local economy, and it's not really making a difference compared to the way they used to do things...... Why is this a benefit worth being excited about? I mean it's interesting and more power to them but I don't see this as being an economic benefit

In robo-dweeb's case, I suspect his/hers/their sole motivation is simple hatred of Trump.

Very simple.

You ONLY believe ^this because you're in COMPLETE DENIAL about Trump's TOTAL CORRUPTION.

Just like the rest of the MAGA CULT. 🤮

You don't even condemn his CLEAR LONG TIME ASSOCIATION with a pedophile who has ABUSED OVER A THOUSAND GIRLS.

Just FACE IT, there's a very embarrassing REASON Trump has told Blondi to drop the EPSTEIN FILES release.

Seriously you need to stop imagining trump with his pants down. Also stop imagining 14-year-old girls.

This.  Of course, it will be ignored due to the inconvenience to some people’s preferred narrative.

USA manufacturing output is at an all-time high, as a proportion of USA’s GDP.  And obviously was under Biden too.  But the sector doesn’t employ very many people compared to the past.

Laverne and Shirley are not standing on an assembly line any longer.  They’ve been fired and one person with an education can look after the assembly line via a computer where it used to be 50 people on the line doing stuff.

Is it good for the average American to pay more for something made in the USA for a very limited increase in manufacturing sector employment?

I don’t think the answer is as black and white as you think it is.

No, that is YOU and your perpetual defense of EVERYTHING that Trump does, the LAW and the Constitution be damned.

You even admit he's on the client list, but are fine with his obstruction of justice.

I've started another thread for you to derange over. Go there, I know you're only here to hate on Trump but let these normal people try to discuss the original topic.

You bring up the Constitution, yet are ok with lying to Congress and the American people.

I believe i said I wouldn't be surprised. But you bring up an interesting point. Is the act of not releasing the files, really obstruction of justice? Do you think Trump can realistically be charged with that?

I think he can, but apparently needs to be impeached first according to the Office of Legal Counsel's memo stating that POTUS cannot be charged while IN OFFICE.

The Constitution states a PRMARY duty of the POTUS is to "take care that the laws be faithfully executed". This means the President must ensure that laws passed by Congress are implemented and enforced by the executive branch.

Which is inconsistent with OBSTUCTING the enforcement of laws.

IOW, the DoJ won't do it. MAYBE if a judge assigns a special prosecutor.
