Et voila.

Of course inflation hurts my finance. Yours too numb-nuts.

It is very minor in my case. If the price on something I buy goes too high, I find a substitute.

That's a serious difference between us though. I want what's best for everyone. You're focused on personal effects. Rather shallow.

I focus on smart shopping to keep my costs down. Anyone who's not too lazy can do that. You seem like the lazy type.

What I would propose is a realistic compromise. A work that moves in a "green" direction but does not dump on what we use now until a reliable and doable method is perfected.

You don't understand that capitalism is designed to accelerate change by raising costs to match their true cost instead of the massive subsidies given to fossil fuels.

You appear to need immediate gratification. That's childish.

That is your approach. You need immediate cost savings instead of paying a little more to mitigate the longer term damages.

Meanwhile I invested a little more money and doubled my MPG by buying a hybrid.

IOW, you're LYING.

Look, some of you crazies think man has been polluting the Earth since the start of agriculture; that's 11,000 years ago. Just what in the f*ck do you think is going to happen, and WHEN is it going to happen?

The UN gives us until sometime around 2030, but they fail to say EXACTLY what will happen.

Why don't you shed some light on this? I'm all ears. ;)

It's already happening. We have have record heat this year and last AND record high numbers of extreme storms with tornadoes rolling across the nation every week. 100s of tornadoes destroying houses enmasse.

I'm not talking about left-wing hysterics, roboalarmist. We've already seen all that shit. I'm talking about full blown global catastrophe - something that wipes out nations and leaves most of the Earth crippled or dead in its wake.

Where and when?

Low lying island nations are already being wiped out.

Thing you don't understand is, if you wait until what YOU'RE talking about happens, IT'S TOO LATE to mitigate.

Which nations exactly have been wiped out?

1. They are? Which ones?

2. There's nothing to mitigate so it's best to just stfu and stop trying to scare people into submission.

Because you're unable to afford a hybrid and would rather just whine about high gas costs? LMAO

You probably wouldn't believe the number of Tesla cars driving around my town, and that's a lot considering the price of electricity is very high here. I see at least a dozen every time I go out on a 1-3 mile drive.

Yes well...aside from the fact that my daughter has a gold Tesla...

Again...this isn't about you, Twinkle-toes. It's about those for whom prices are wiping them out. You know...all the "little folk" you Libbies love to care for. Remember them?

Pfft...

Be petrified!

Today's temperature map:

My God, this is worse than I thought.

It's so hot that the city names on the map are starting to disappear.

Also, the lava flowing into Ontario is so hot that it's turning purple.  As everyone knows, purple lava is the most dangerous of the climate lava, make sure to put up your pride flag.

Alberta and Saskatchewan may be in deep trouble - it's been raining since the beginning of May. They think they’re safe because they can’t smell the smoke through the rain.

Where are the police ?

Another unseasonal chill swept through here yesterday afternoon and this morning.

Feels like it's it's time to crank up fossil fuel and nuclear production.

WTH are you? The entire US is experiencing a RECORD HEAT WAVE, except for here in San Diego where the high is a balmy mid seventies near the coast.

If you go inland 20-30 miles, it's over 100.

It only went above room temperature he twice in the last five weeks.

Fortunately I'm not so f*cking stupid that Ican't tell a month from a climate. After half the trees died from bug kill (with no historical precedent), massive forest fires (one evac and 2 warnings), low water and droughts in the middle of a rain forest...

there's about 6 board members competing for the stupidest, most stubborn, ignorant refuse to listen or believe their own eyes award and Deluge is one of the front-runners.

Every story now is a climate story.

Truth is not the goal.

Crisis is.

Trust the politics. I mean, science.

I just noticed, even the meteorologist was hotter in 2022.

Don't be so modest. You have no competition for that award.
