Tori Otten3:21 p.m. ET Several of Donald Trump’s biggest fans seem increasingly frantic about a forthcoming list divulging the names of those who traveled on Epstein’s plane and visited his various international estates. In social media posts and public appearances, several MAGA talking heads have made it clear that Trump’s highly anticipated presence on such a list, which is expected to contain nearly 200 names, is at the front of their minds. On Tuesday, the former president’s son turned fingers toward Bill Clinton, who has also been photographed alongside the serial rapist. “Everyone knows Bill Clinton was on Jeffrey Epstein’s [planes] and island a lot. Literally no one is at all surprised that he’s all over the release,” Don Jr. posted on X. “What we want to know is ALL THE OTHER NAMES that the government has been hiding & running cover for. That will actually be revealing!” InfoWars host and Trump sycophant Alex Jones also made some noise on the issue, apparently having a hard time rationalizing how the known womanizer could have been associated with Epstein. “I will say this, if it turns out Trump ever went to Epstein Island, I will remove any support from him,” Jones said. “But I know Roger Stone very well, and I know people that know Trump well, a lot of people, I’ll leave it at that. I know women that have dated Trump, prominent women.” “He gets devoted to one woman at a time, gets totally obsessed with them, totally nice to them,” Jones continued, apparently ignoring the fact that Trump is due for a criminal trial this year on the basis of paying hush money to a porn star with whom he reportedly had an affair. Other conservatives seemed equally flabbergasted at the anticipated unveiling, attempting to frame a new conspiracy to avoid confronting the reality of Trump’s behavior. “High chance that the Epstein filings will include Donald Trump’s name. New Republic isn’t trashy. But I agree Trump supporters will deny any reports that are inconvenient for them to believe regardless of how credible they are and will simply scream conspiracy. Heck Trump could even admit to it or there could be a video of Trump tag-teaming an underage girl with Epstein and m it wouldn’t change anything. LOL - ok tiger, settle down Setting aside your slightly over the top fantasies of questionable legality there, in essence that's probably true. But the dems have themselves to blame for that. LIke iv'e said elsewhere, fake dossiers, years and years of "he totally colluded, evidence coming next week, jail the week after" and so on and so forth you'd pretty much need a letter from God for a lot of republicans to buy into it - and even a lot of swing voters at this point. Lets face it - trump has 'scumbag' already baked into the cake and people vote for him anyway. Well by definition it's not statutory rape if it's legal. I do seem to recall tho that the us has some provisions for underage sex being illegal even if it's legal in the country you're doing it in. But the wording is a little weird. https://www.justice.gov/criminal/criminal-ceos/extraterritorial-sexual-exploitation-children Federal law prohibits an American citizen or resident to travel to a foreign country with intent to engage in any form of sexual conduct with a minor (defined as persons under 18 years of age). It is also illegal to help organize or assist another person to travel for these purposes. So... if you just happen to go there and get it going with a 17 year old then its fine but if you go there intending to it's not? I mean - Canada has the age of consent at 16..... so if someone comes here and gets picked up by someone who snuck into the bar they go to jail back in the states? What came out at the time was that they knew each other and partied a few times, but then they had a falling out and were not friends. Why that happened was not clear. Now let the revisionists begin. The closer they get to the election, the more the accusations and charges will ramp up. Until Trump is facing 1000 life-sentences. This is incredibly stupid: Everyone knows that both Bill Clinton and Donald Trump took flights on Epstein’s jet to his private island. And so far, that’s all we know. We already knew that this document release would name them, but just because their names are in somebody’s contact list, it doesn’t mean they committed a crime. If it turns out that either or both of them engaged in statutory rape, they should face trial, if the SOL hasn’t tolled.
