Joe's Address

Recommended Posts

One Republican: how can you say Putin and Hamas in one sentence? They are so different. A crime, crime! Anathema!

A rational individual: OK, how they are different? In what essential way?

Both aggressively attacked neighboring country, in violation of all rules, conventions, charters and principles

Both have zero respect for human life, rights, and basic morality.

Both committed multiple horrific crimes, war crimes and crimes against humanity.

Both destroy and kill for no other reason than to create chaos and install their power.

How is that different?

R.: Well, Hamas is "very smart" and Putin, "genius". There, see! Our great non-stop-lying mob Idol said so!

All will be recorded in history - if there will be history; and that's how you will remain in it for generations. Make no mistake. It's well past the time for naive stupidite.

If I were the Republicans, I would be stipulating any approval of aid to being able to look at any of Joe's family members or close friends' interests before signing off on billions more dollars.

Congress already has this authority and they’re already investigating.

Joe's whispering was creepy as hell in last night's address

His shtick is gross. He kisses unwilling kids on the mouth (it would be even worse if they wanted to kiss him), showered with his own teenage girl, he thinks that whispering makes him sound badass, and when he tries to sound tough he's so utterly unconvincing that it almost makes you think that Canada could beat the US in a war.

Except that Trump only promised to take us out of Afghanistan, while Biden actually did it. Trump said he would knuckle under to Putin’s invasion, while Trump is standing up against it.  And Trump paid Israel lip service while Biden flies into an active war zone and fought to get Israel weapons they need to fight terrorists.

Biden is standing up for what’s right and getting them done. He kisses babies like real politicians do. Trump cheats on his wives.  He’s an awful human being.

So money to deter an occupation and dispossession on the one hand and money to help maintain an occupation and dispossession on the other.

That sounds about right.

Ukraine should get zero, they already got about $113 Billion according to CNN, but somehow Biden still wants to pour the bulk of this new $100B into Ukraine.

China is just laughing right now. They're "sitting on a hill, watching two tigers fight".

Trump actually was taking the US out of Afghanistan, stop lying ffs. No Americans were killed there in 18 months. t was winding down perfectly until ham-handed leftards got involved.

There was no "invasion" occurring when Trump was POTUS, liar. The Russian troops started amassing on the border in 2021, after the election.

?

You've crossed the Rubicon now dude. You're so far into crazy town that there's no coming back.

FYI Israel was making inroads with Arab states when Trump was POTUS, and that's even while they were moving their capital to Jerusalem.

Islamic terrorism was down to nothing.

Now it's worse than before.

Biden is a stooge and you're his lackey.

Once this new spending spree is approved, electing Biden will have cost the US $200 billion dollars on military funding for wars that never even would have started if Trump was still president.

Fox News Is Praising Joe Biden

Quote

Fox News chief political analyst Brit Hume praised President Joe Biden for his Oval Office address on Thursday calling for more financial aid to be sent to Israel and Ukraine.

In a rare prime-time speech which followed the president's highly-anticipated visit to Israel earlier this week, Biden asked Americans to stand behind Israel and Ukraine, saying that both countries face threats of annihilation from tyrants and terrorists.

....

Commenting on the president's speech on air after being asked for his opinion by Fox News host Bret Baier, Hume—who has often been critical of Biden in previous reports, even before he took office as president—called it possibly "the best" of all Biden's speeches.

"I think it may be remembered as one of the best, if not the best, speeches of his presidency," he said. "He was firm, he was unequivocal, he was strong, as he has been particularly in recent days before he went to Israel and while he was over there."

Hume also praised Biden for focusing his speech on Ukraine as well as Israel, though he said the strength of the president's stance was weakened by his decision in the summer of 2021 to withdraw all U.S. troops from Afghanistan.
