I have read that the many covid patients that were in one of those ICU's beds have died because they were being treated with some breathing like apparatus, and being fed Remdesivir, a drug that is very harmful to the kidneys, which eventually will shut down the patients kidneys, where then the patient dies. Without ones kidneys working properly, we would all die. The evilness of this covid hoax and farce will never end because of they the peasants. These peasants have allowed this covid farce to continue on and they are going to pay big time for their ignorance and subservience to this medical tyranny covid madness. 

Now they will  be once again conned into believing that this Omnipron or Omnicon is now worse than the other two. Booster jabs will be suggested and after that booster jabs will become mandatory. Looks like dying on a waiting list is a normal part of our public health care system in Canada.  Why have we not heard about this on the mainstream media and from our politicians?  Looks like this has been going on for years, but became particularly acute during the pandemic since people requiring life-saving surgeries have been put on waiting lists so the system in general could concentrate on Covid patients without having to deal with surgery patients.  Everyone is not being treated as equals.

What I don't get is that the numbers at the bottom show that the Ontario numbers aren't much higher.  I also wonder if Covid itself could have been responsible for the rise.   

So there may be something here, but without a knowledgable counter-point the story doesn't really stand on its own.  Yes 'Thousands died in 2020' but they also died in 2019, 2018 etc.

I've certainly heard our health system is a disaster but my own experience seems to indicate otherwise. I was determinedly dragged back from death's door about 12 years ago following a sudden onset of illness, my cancer journey following my diagnosis this past July was fast-tracked and my surgery was 8 weeks ago. I was actually just down the hall from my wife where she was recovering from the surgery they'd scheduled for her in June.

The alien in my chest (I was born with it) may now be finally stirring after all this time but they've been monitoring it faithfully for 10 years now so I'm pretty confident they're not about to waste that effort and let me die on a waiting list.  That said perhaps there's a death panel with some economist on it frowning over how much I've already cost the system and they'll be putting me on the sort of wait list you're talking about.  That would suck.

The excess deaths is the number you want, but this is hard to nail down. For one there is annual cycles and natural variations. Understanding those is crucial to determining if the increase is significant or not.

I guess if it is almost the same in previous years, it means the health care system has been and still is in a shambles. Canada's hospital beds are apparently loaded up to 90% occupancy on any given day, even before covid. Studies were presented here already or you can look it up.

So your final line seems to say, "Yes well, we've killed off thousands in every year before, so." <shrugs>

The public Health care system in Canada is disgustingly sickening. My own closest relative  who was everything to me and everyone for me passed away recently right before my eyes because she was released prematurely from ICU. The uncaring incompetent nurses and doctors at hospital ward were not trained or experienced enough to deal with such critical condition.

1. 3.  There's no baseline, though.  

2. Again, no baseline but we can maybe ask some questions here like: what is the variance?  What is the cost of Extra capacity?  What do other countries do?

 

The very best thing about all of this is that someone somewhere is finally talking about NUMBERS, right or wrong.
