Meanwhile we can all sit back and watch while Biden incrementally adopts Trump’s policies on China and the US- Mexico border.

Just that where Trump did these things openly, these hypocrites do it quietly, in private.   ;)

The Department of Justice is investigating former President Donald Trump and his efforts to remain in office after he lost the 2020 election, with prosecutors asking witnesses detailed questions about his behavior and meetings he held to overturn the election, The Washington Post reported on Tuesday.

The report, citing people familiar with the DOJ’s inquiry, said prosecutors have asked detailed questions about meetings held by Trump in December 2020 and January 2021, after his November election loss, as well as what instruction he gave his attorneys as they worked on a plan to use slates of fake electors rather than those won by Joe Biden.

Not quite. Everything she said will be followed up and the people she quoted will have to testify themselves. That's the way these investigations work, they start flipping people from the bottom and work their way up.

Like I’ve repeatedly said.  There will be wall to wall show trials and investigations on Trump until November.  Not that they have anything on him, or he would have been convicted long ago.
No, this is simply an attempt to affect the outcome of the midterms.  Meanwhile Biden has close financial ties with both China, and Ukraine biolabs.  If the intent was justice, he would be impeached by now.
So if the motivation is only politics, is it worthy of our time?

These hearings are not a trial. Any charges will be made by the DoJ. Congress has no jurisdiction over the DoJ so whatever happens in November will mean SFA because the current administration is in power til 2024. If you are expecting a Republican majority in Congress to put a stop to any charges that may be laid by the DoJ, you will be sadly disappointed. The President appoints the the attorney general, not Congress.

Meanwhile, the Saudi backed golf tour is about to hold a tournament at a Trump course almost in sight of the World Trade Centre.

I am not saying the hearings are a trial.  I was using the phrase “show trials and investigations” in a generic fashion.

It’s interesting that almost all the people testifying at this so called show trial are people from Trump’s own administration. He hired them.

Yes, and not one of those people is being cross examined.  That’s why it’s a “show” trial.  It’s a presentation of one side of the story only.

Entertaining, but not real.  In a real trial, the guys who were in the “beast” with Trump when he supposedly grabbed the wheel would testify, not a person who wasn’t even in the vehicle.

But the people who were in the vehicle will now have to testify under oath. See how this works.

Well we shall see...

Yes we will but why would Hutchinson lie under oath about such a thing? What's in it for her other than fearing for her life?

She wasn't asked if she was told Trump grabbed the wheel, she volunteered it.

they already said it was fake news

but even if they backed up the story up

trying to go to the capitol isn't a crime

again they have nothing
