Teachers teaching kids all about the wonderful joys of the different perversions of sex in school is what is being cut here. I am pretty sure that parents will be explaining to their kids and getting their kids straight on what is going on here. At kids around age seven needs to learn or know all about anal or oral sex. That's what lesbian Wynne wanting to teach the children in school. No doubt that is one of the reasons why liberal/socialist Wynne got her ass kicked out of office. Conservative Doug Ford is doing just fine, and he is doing what the people of Ontario wanted him to do. Create jobs, not teach sex to school children. If Ford were really smart he would get rid of as much socialist government bureaucracy as he can, especially the Human Rights Tyranny Commission, that bastion of "there will be no such thing as freedom of speech, and truth is no defense" communist outfit. I was personally wrote an email to Doug Ford asking him to run, hours after Patrick Brown resigned.

I told him, there would be a Blue Wave in Ontario if he ran... And that many people who loved his brother, would be excited if he ran.

I still support Doug Ford, but I've been too busy to write him back.

The powers that be, want the students learning useless math... so they are too stupid to know when the government is running up too much debt, or the powerful corporations are ripping them off.

 

So my Advice to Doug Ford, is instead of going to war with the teachers, let them feel respected... and try and change the curriculum, so the next generation doesn't think money grows on trees...

Canadian schools today have become nothing more than Marxist training grounds for our youth of today. Our kids in school are learning more about sex and other useless leftist liberal programs and agendas that are meant to keep them dumb downed and to become more Marxist slaves for the system. Marxist nonsense, and not enough about business and economics, is what teachers are teaching the kids in school today. Our students seem to be coming out of school dumb as hell, especially those who go to college or university, where most of them come out more like brainwashed radicals than smart and intelligent people. Education today is nothing more than a racket, like most everything else in the world that we the stunned people have to put up and listen too every day. The majority of they the people just seem to not want to do anything about their predicament. The majority seems to just enjoy being and acting like a bunch of dumb bunnies for their political masters who always treats them with total and utter contempt. Those that will be voting for the liberals tomorrow will be a prime example of people who enjoy getting their asses constantly kicked every day by politicians who could careless about them. When I graduated from University, I couldn't cope... I have my degree, but I can't get rid of the bad memories.

All students do, is memorize crap for tests... Then forget most of the answers within a week.

Students hate being in class, because they feel like their put under a microscope, and judged on every single answer they give.

 

Elementary schools are the most moral. High schools give students social anxiety, and Universities will cause PTSD for life.

 

I remember hard working teachers in Elementary Schools, but the University Professors are super corrupt.

The professors are so far removed from reality. It's like a cult.

 

I was sold the lie, that if I don't get my Degree... I'll regret it for life. It will haunt me every morning.

I would trade my degree for my sanity back.

90% of the budget goes for health, education, and public welfare/social services. There is no way you can cut ANYTHING without howls of protest. We spent more on schools than almost anywhere in the world, with teacher salaries among the highest in the world. For our money we get graduates who are barely literate, can't do math without a calculator, and know little or nothing about geography, history and science. As far as I'm concerned you can take a chain saw to the entire education system, rip it apart and build a new one. Burn down the teachers colleges and the boards of education, fire all the teachers. Hire new teachers who can actually teach their subjects.

Avoiding a strike will be an accomplishment. I think we all know Teachers in Ontario will fight with EVERY government. Individually, teachers are usually pleasant and nice people. As a collective unit they are some of the most entitled whiney and obstructive people I've ever seen. 

Regarding class sizes. I believe the original cap was like 22, the PCs wanted it to be 28. The compromise would be 25. Still a win for the PCs. 

If it's seen that the PCs are actually trying to get something accomplished to avoid a strike and the teacher's strike anyway, it'll be obvious what they're doing, and hopefully the public opinion will reflect that. We're really only talking about a annual 1% pay increase here. 

They saw a fairly bid deficit this past year because they believed the accounting tricks the Liberals used in the past were dishonest. I would hope the deficit would be much smaller this coming year. Getting all the unpleasantness out of the way in the first few years is the playbook of every government.

I did quite well without no stinkin' college or university education. Matter of fact there is one member here who likes to brag about their university education, and when I have a debate with that one, he/she never makes any sense at all with most of his/her replies. Look at the cost of trying to get a college or university education and degree today in America. Students in America have to go in debt for tens of thousands of dollars just to get a diploma in their hands, and make their parents be proud of them. But even in our elementary schools of today, leftist liberal Marxist brainwashing is going on now.
