Hopefully no member has killed another yet, hahaha...

We did assassinate American Woman, and came up with a clever ruse to hide the evidence.

Yep. I argued with the investigators about the word "assassinate," then sideswiped them with a rejoinder that I said "assassinate," not "assassinated," and then sagely pointed out that they (and their ilk) had a long habit of misrepresenting me.

Nope....as your post illustrates, AW is still having a lasting impact.

If by "lasting impact" you mean that she continues to be the butt of jokes, then I agree. :)

Mr. Canada has had a "lasting impact" as well.

A few pretty much just blew themselves to bits, like Mr Canada and his various reincarnations.

There's no telling for sure how many Charles and Greg have disappeared, maybe only the NSA knows

Presumably CSEC helped.....

Attacking other members (i.e. assassination) is a violation of forum rules. Continued references are the ultimate form of worship.

Exactly.

AW must've had the upper hand in a discussion and Kimmy still hasn't recovered - Kimmy's nose is obviously still out of joint! :D

Ice pack will help. Maybe.

That's pretty far from my impression of their numerous discussions--close to the opposite--but to each her own!

What do you think happened to all the regulars that were here when you joined? If MLW has been around for 14 years it seems odd that there are no representatives of the first 4.

Does it really? What would you estimate as the average half life of MLW members?

Well, it's good to have you back. By the way, who are you calling old timer ? I'm the only top 10 who's been here ten years you know...

Iv been around on and off for damn close that!

I question things because I am human. And call no one my father who's no closer than a stranger

I do not think I can answer that question. And I am not sure it describes what governs membership anyway: I could not name anyone offhand who was here since "in the beginning" when I joined in 2006. They had already left by that point. If half-life were a thing, there should be a mass exodus from the forum anytime now, probably ending in its demise: seven years since I originally joined, seven years of existence prior to that.

As much as everyone "hates" each other, there is no doubt in my mind that everyone comes here because of the huge cross-section of views and opinions.

I don't think MLW has a "huge cross-section of views and opinions" politically. I post on other international political forums and I debate with honest-to-goodness Marxist-Leninists, Fascists, Libertarians etc. Canadian political opinions don't usually vary beyond the spectrum of our major political parties ie: from NDP to red Tory.

MLW is still a good place to exchange views though, which is probably what you meant anyways.

Please spare us your quoting of the rules.

Last time I checked Kimmy still posts here. AW lost and ran away. I won't miss her.
