Meme/Cartoon of the Day

Saw a shirt at a minor league baseball game last night.. In short, it said that they will not accept the results at face value. Both sides squarely are in the sore loser camp. Whoever loses will come out swinging with all sorts of bogus claims, conspiracy theories, and lawsuits as starters. Who knows.. it may go further than just those three but only time will tell on those. It used to be that the wednesday after election season was a great day.. free of campaigns, politics, and such but as with all things that had to go away.

Much like job numbers.. comparing 2023 vs. 2020 (regardless of month) is disingenuous. It does not matter if you use CES or QCEW, both paint a similar picture. The better comparison is 2019 vs. 2023. In most industries (defined at the 3 digit level of NAICS such 322,561, etc), jobs are down. No, not in all industries and not in all places.

in politics.. "lies" is a word often used and rarely ever does it truly apply. To lie is to intentionally deceive. If you do not actually know the data.. are you really lying?
-
point proven ^^^^. someone had to have the last word. Too funny.

Its a losing bet either way.. If Trump loses, you will dishonestly post something else than voter fraud or at least at first. Why do that? Because that is how you prove a winner or loser in this context. Sorry but I do not trust that you would not lie in order to win the bet. The better test of your mindset is to see what you post when you are not trying to win a bet.
-
However, being that I have stated my intentions.. you will be dishonest and not come out firing immediately about voter fraud.. just to win. Lets really put this to the test... forget about the bet for now and when this conversation has faded.. see what you post on November 6, 2024. If Trump loses and any of your first 5 posts are about voter fraud and cheating... then lets talk.

I would bet money on it. The only fair elections are the ones that you win. I met with a lady that is an election clerk in die-hard Republican Lincoln County, Nevada. She voted for Trump and yet has been deluged with calls for her being fired. Hmm.. and yet 84.5% of the county voted Trump and they still are crying voter fraud. That tells me that we have a serious issue with folks believing conspiracy theories and such. I would think that a Republican winning every race decidedly would put the voter fraud controversy aside in that county.. nope

You and others do not have to accept anything. I am just pointing out simple reality much like if I stated the Florida Panthers won the Stanley Cup in 2024. The current state of affairs is that the sore loser act is en vogue. No matter the outcome.. one side or the other is going to make accusations that it was rigged against them.

Vegas Odds on the 2024 Election
impartialobserver replied to WestCanMan's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
In short, I pressed you to back up your accusation and you can't... "then you just say "I don't really care about the topic that I just posted on 50 times in the last 2 hrs". It's weird. " -
In short.. I proved explicitly that you and you alone steered this topic onto covid-19.. which you know that I do not care about. actually, day is fine. Going to do a fraud investigation and then go home to the wife and kids. The claimant is trying to convince the board that he is owed X dollars of back pay because his side business should be counted as income.. That's not how it works for UI. I do love nailing people like this..

Vegas Odds on the 2024 Election

Again... you can't back up your claim. Such a sad creature, you are. You make accusations and when pressed to prove them... you obfuscate. Why are you not a politician? -
You... fine sir.. are who steered this discussion on this thread onto Covid-19.. not I. The title is what? Hmmm... you created this thread and apparently can't recall. Lets help you out.. its Biden's Deficit 70% Higher than Trump's: US Treasury. Department Data when did you do this.. easy find. Had I mentioned it before? No.. Easily proven. @impartialobserver or let's be neutral... Go back and sift through Goddess's Trickle to a flood thread, and see how much she knows compared the Fauci, the CDC, Trudeau, Biden, CNN, CTV, CBC, and the WSJ combined..... How much did she know on Sept 30 2021 than all of those guys knew in Sept 2022? Weird, hey?

You should grow up.. if you do not like what I write you can just keep scrolling or ignore it. Go ahead and give it a try. Some maturity would help you... P.S. I know that you can't resist, you need to have the last word. So lets you have the hollow victory. The honor of being the most bored person on the forum.

Vegas Odds on the 2024 Election
impartialobserver replied to WestCanMan's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
"I have been saying since last year that I think that Trump wins in 2024. It is a simple matter of variability. Close defeats can somewhat easily be changed into close wins. Biden is simply uninspiring. In todays day and age of style over substance... he has no style." where in this do I state explicitly that "I do not care". Come on now.. chatgpt can give you the answer if you can't read this post. -
You have some serious dementia. Been having this pointless discussion for about 2 years... I have stated hundreds of times that I do not really care about the topic of COVID-19.. Do you recall any of these? Surely you must because at times.. you bring this up. So lets get back to some simple reading comprehension... if I do not care about a topic, how is it possible to pro or anti.. therefore arguing against you? Come on now.. surely you can read that last sentence.

Homelessness is a major problem in the cities out West. First, it is not a crime to be homeless so rounding them up and putting them in jail is illegal. Second, it is a matter of manpower and resources. They tried this in Reno.. strict enforcement of the laws and what happened? Oh.. the officers and public complaining that they were spending an inordinate amount of time and money on policing homelessness. To camp on public land is not a crime.. as long as you do so for less than the stipulated time. In most cases, it is 30 consecutive days.
