  1. Of course they do. And they'll hear it in an election as is appropriate. In the meantime they know his policy priorities he's been very clear about it. And they seem satisfied with that if the polls are to be believed Liberals and other opponents are the only ones that think he might possibly be stupid enough to release it before an election The majority of Canadians understand that platforms are released during an election. Hell, you don't even know what the circumstances are going to be before an election how can you possibly release a platform? If he'd released his platform last January it would have been before trump was elected and threatened 25% tariffs. That changes everything. The liberals haven't released their platforms and neither have the NDP. What did you expect I think if they release that information without releasing the names of the liberals who have been compromised that it would go very badly for them 🙂 He said a great deal. And he gave a great deal of indication how you would resolve the issues. At the end of the day I know you don't want to believe the truth because you're a left-wing advocate and you are less interested in the truth than you are in the welfare of your tribe. But people who are less tribal and live outside of an echo chamber watch that and they get a pretty solid idea of where he's coming from and where his priorities are going to be. That was a very timely interview, and it's been reviewed by more than 30 million people so far and counting. Napoleon indicates the confidence in Poilievre's ability to run the country well is strong. He's by far and away the favorite for dealing with trump. People are comfortable with Polievre being prime minister. They've had over a year to get used to the idea with the polls saying that's what's going to happen. Changing leaders isn't going to change the party and people's frustration with it. The election campaign will be eliminating the biggest source of disinflation there is, trudeau and his liberals
  2. Trump and Poilievre are already relevant. But you're correct that people are already turning against the woke and realize what a terrible idea it was to begin with. That was one of the things that made trump and Poilievre relevant
  3. Well of course this has been this subject is speculation, books and such, all kinds of "what ifs" for many decades now. I suspect that if he had then japan would not have fallen and there would have been a time of 'digestion', but i think that the kind of market socialism that he preferred with a limited and restricted free market would have become strong and lead to a strong germany for a period of time and been seen as successful in other parts of the world. Communism would have likely died but socialistic models that were similar to germany may have prevailed in europe and other places. I think the asias would have retained the more imperialistic model and in the end china would have been fully conquered. But i think that would have driven even more fierce freedom beliefs in north america. Who can say how things would have evolved after that.
  4. I would imagine the liberals would agree, they would have wished severely for Poilievre to release his platform before the election. That way they could create one that basically mimicked it. That's why nobody in their right mind ever releases a platform before the election. The liberals haven't and the NDP haven't but I noticed you didn't mention that. However Poilievre did say his priorities pretty clearly in that interview with peterson and he has done so many times in the past.
  5. Well he's a redundant guy Anyway as you say it's not a question mark any more, it's the reality and the next issue is the leadership race, who's going to be in it and win it, and will it make any difference They'll probably take today to say goodbye to good ole unicorn farts first but they'll be announcing their intentions to run starting tomorow i would think
  6. Of course. Trudeau is gone And the CPC will be getting in So obviously immigration will return to sane levels.
  7. You literally posted it was 1 percent earlier. Seems you can't decide which lie you prefer. Tens of thousands of people is a significant amount of people. You can pretend otherwise to your heart's content but that won't change the facts. And none were turned away, if they wanted to come they could come. Not really. And again 40 years isn't all of canada's history up to recent times as was previously claimed. All you're doing is proving I was right. The statement was made that only europeans were allowed and I have absolutely proven and you have absolutely demonstrated that this was not true and that large numbers of other people came to Canada. You can argue about whether they represented a large or small part of the overall population but it doesn't matter, they came and they were absolutely allowed to stay here. And yes the liberals under Laurier and others did pass some pretty racist policies that persisted for a time involving blacks Asians and Jews but even then many were allowed in and those policies were rescinded. So to suggest that Canada had never allowed other people's in was wrong which is what I said and you have proven to be true
  8. Trudeau to resign as prime minister after Liberal leadership race | CBC News So he's had to admit his failure and has been forced to resign. LOL So now the leadership race is going to have to shape up. THe house is only prorogued till end of march. They have to finish the race by then and they're almost certain to go to an election immediately after that. That means one of the shortest leadership races in Canadian history. Basically slightly less than 3 months. First the liberal party will have to set the rules, that will include how much it'll cost to run (expect it to be hIgh), how they'll vote and if there's any debates etc. That will be interesting. Then people will have to decide who will run. Likely conteders are: Carney, Freeland Leblanc Cristie Clarke amazingly enough, she's shown a lot of interest Jolie There's a couple of maybes such as champaign but those are the ones most likely to toss their hats. The real question will be, can any of them actually improve the liberals chances? The PC party thought swapping in a new leader last minute in the form of kim campbell would help, and that destroyed the party. The dems though swapping in a new leader in the form of kamala would help and they got slaughtered. Will swapping horses midstream work for the liberals this time?
  9. Did you have a point or something? Or were you just showing off you could count to 9
  10. Pretty much none of that is true. He will replace the carbon tax with nothing which would be vastly superior. The Dad has nothing to do with covid and even the deficit spending during covid had very little to do with covid. Most of it was on program spending that had nothing to do with covid. The deficit will continue to shrink over time and be eliminated. Our rights, being the rights of people who are not in a special interest group will likely be reinforced so that we cannot be pressured to use language that we don't want or to celebrate things we don't want or to allow men who claim to be women to participate in sports or go to women's prisons. There is a reasonable amount of appetite right now to increase military spending and he won't have to wear it if the Americans force it upon us. There's no doubt Poilievre will have a lot of work to do and it's not going to be an easy road to hoe. But things will start to get noticeably better And chances are he'll have a minimum of eight years to make things happen before he's seriously challenged again.
  11. LOL you should have put up an option for "drinker of the salty tears of their foes" The complete desperation and mental anguish of people like dui, Michael, and politics1990 at the loss and failure of their woke left political parties in the us and canada is always heartwarming Sorry kids. You had your chances. You chose to lie and destroy the countries rather than honesty and success and prosperity. Now everyone hates you and you're bitter, but it's literally a bed of your own making Keep it up tho.... 4 more years in 4 more years
  12. Awww look at you, you've learned mimicry!! You're now as smart as a parrot We should get you a youtube channel. Sure kid?
  13. LOL so first off YOU don't provide a source for your claim but some how others are the 'dumbasses' for asking where you saw it I guess that's your way of admitting you were a loser Second off it doesn't say what you said it did. You claimed that it was a wake-up call to immediately start a purge of the democrats through force: You "The guy quite explicitly said it was a "wake up call" to start a purge of Democrats by the military." but that's not what he said. He said first they are to try to get the democrats out through legal means. Not a purge by the military, but a purge by the voters and through other legal means So as suspected you lied again. He called for changing governments through legal means and only referenced going beyond that as a last resort when all else failed and even then he didnt' say to start a purge, he said they had to "be prepared to". So as usual you lie. No wonder you didn't want to post the link earlier. Big shock.
  14. No, there were actually strong chinese presences in many of the major metros such as they were at the time, and I recall reading a discussion about that very fact in the Hansard records from when John a was prime minister and they were debating the issue of whether or not " chiamen" (snicker) should be naturalized after short periods because many were just here to collect money and send it home and weren't invested in Canada so you were giving the vote to people with loyalties elsewhere, and an mp from ontario mentioned how there was a thriving community in his town and that he personally knew some who were excellent members of the community and business people who'd invested in Canada. Sure bc had the most. But not all. And it really doesn't matter. Your argument was that only whites were allowed, this is very clearly not true. And a tax is not a restriction, it's a tax. Anyone who paid the tax could come. Not a restriction. That's just utterly childish. The country is 150 years old. Your claim that 40 years is "half" is incorrect. I know math is hard but.... c'mon. Non whites were absolutely allowed, there were no restrictions they could come in in whatever numbers they wanted and frequently did. And the populations prove it. Your claim that non whites were 'not allowed' in canada is just silly and a perfect example of the woke left trying to rewrite history as fast as they can to fit an agenda and claim racism where it simply didn't exist. People from all kinds of countries including the orient came to canada without restriction.
  15. Whooops, now you're walking it back. At the end of the day "objectively' means being tried and found guilty in a court of law. That's why we supposedly have a legal system, to produce objective results and conclusions. Anything else is subjective. And at this point none of the people we're discussing have been found guilty of treason or any other similar crime. However the system still provided for this by giving people the vote. If you believe on the balance of probability that a politician has done something of this nature you can help vote him out of power.
  16. That absolutely is something to do with Trudeau. First off it's been a lot more than just the last 15 months it's been considerably longer than that that it's been on the rise. But second off how trudeau addresses rampant racism on our streets in the form of protests and addressees the situation largely dictates out out of control things get. Whenever you used to have church burnings. Then Trudeau basically suicide and allowed first nations people to burn down churches at will. Now we're well over 200 in just a few years. We have mild anti-semitism here and there occasionally. Now because Trudeau allows people to stand in the streets and call for the death of Jews and does nothing people feel emboldened to take further actions I'm not sure you understand what leadership is. But yeah Trudeau's limp ass response to the crisis has absolutely got everything to do with what's happening
  17. It was 17,000 in bc alone by the turn of the century. Sooooo. Yeah. No it's literally a tax. In our country's history, that's a brief period. Also a brief period. Not even a generation. Your claim was that until recently NOBODY OTHER THAN EUROPEANS were allowed in. By the time of that ban tens of thousands of chinese were already in and were growing, along with japanese, blacks, etc etc. So you were wrong. Period. I already put a number on it and nobody said it wasnt' small. but you said it wasn't allowed. Ahhh yes your usual freak out when you get called out for being wrong. You claimed that basically non whites were "not allowed" to come to canada. In fact they came by the thousands, by the tens of thousands.
  18. watching you and a couple of the other lefties here stumble over the very basics of us politics Fills us with an incredible sense of superiority. Even somebody who only knows a little feels like they know a hell of a lot when they compare themselves to you Also, your use of caps locks is an obvious sign that you know nothing so we just basically take anything you say and reverse it, and that turns out to be correct 93 percent of the time
  19. It's a long shot but part of me still thinks based on his narcissistic personality he'll just drop the gloves and go straight to an election. It would not surprise me if he still believes that he's doing better than he looks like he's doing in the polls. He might very well think that it's somehow possible if he rolls the dice to squeak out another minority And honestly I'm not sure that the GG will allow him to prorogue parliament long enough to hold a race, and given that they're going to need to vote on new spending somewhere in april when the gov't runs out of cash (and money votes are always confidence votes) even if a new leader is elected they will have to go straight into an election with zero time to prep. It cannot be overstressed how much work it is to get ready for an election. He'll probably going to step down but i'd put a 20 percent chance on 'calls an election to catch the other parties off guard'
  20. Perhaps, but 75 percent isn't 100. And that's where we run into challenges. That which seems obvious and apparent to one does not necessarily to others and no matter how people think the human rights boards may see things very different.
