JIA5342 and the Helicopter Accident KDCA
CdnFox replied to gatomontes99's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Anything's possible. But most of the time the simplest answer is that mistakes happen. Sounds like both the aircraft are on training flights, it's easy for instructors to be focused on the student and not outside and it's easy for students to make mistakes. We'll know soon enough and it's just really sad that it sounds like some people who are pretty good people got killed -

I'm sure they will, conservatives tend to do that. It'll be just interesting to see how he manages the whole thing because it's not an easy solution. I'm sure it'll take some tinkering to get perfect -
Talking to that mirror of yours again i see For 2 years you've chased me around losing argument after argument desperate as hell to try to SOMEhow catch me out in an error or the like and FINALLY! FINALLY i make a small mistake you can point to and cry "AHA!" and you screwed it up i think that's one of the saddest things i've seen in ages And i watched Harris's speeches. Whenever you start to lose we see the same things. You will begin by calling a normal response a spaz out because you're spazzing out and you are projecting that on to others. You then usually start claiming that a particular word or another doesn't mean what everybody knows that particular word or other does mean. You'll try to focus the argument on that to cover up your failures when that fails you go from semi melt down to full on melt down and suddenly your stupidity will be the fault of my post count or how long my posts are LOLOLOL Then you just go nuts and follow me around for weeks trying to take cheap shots wherever you can and looking stupid. This is going EXACTLY as i think it is and always does I'll fetch some popcorn, you carry on. That wasn't too long for you was it?

Wait for the investigation. If there was a pilot error or the light it'll come out and we can address it then. There have always been and will always be air crashes regardless of what the policy of the government of the day is. It sounds to me like air traffic control gave the correct instructions and either one or both of the pilots in the aircraft thought they had the correct airplane in sight but somehow made a mistake. -

I think in theory it's a positive step, the devlis are in the execution as a rule. I do absolutely support expanding press conferences in media to include alternative media such as podcasts. But how do you make that work practically? Does that mean doing away with the traditional media scrum? No more press conferences where tough questions can be asked? How do you determine which podcasts are legitimate and deserve equal footing and which ones are just some kid in the basement of which there are a million? It's a challenging question to answer it'll be interesting to see what he comes up with -
Columbia turns back deportation flights
CdnFox replied to Aristides's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
You are in severe mental distress and should probably see a professional. And the quotes are right about where they were the last time, in many many places, and in your article that you posted. The article it says that the flight was approved but nothing else and the president of Colombia says that they had not agreed to the new protocol and we're unaware of it as it had changed after trump took office You actually quoted it yourself It's actually getting a little sad watching this -
The Electoral College exists to prevent the tyranny of the majority. The only reason so many people hate it on the left is because it works. Getting rid of it would eventually lead to the separation of the states as it would become impossible for them to have diverse opinions politically. I don't know that birthright citizenship needs a constitutional amendment and I'm not sure that it would be the best way to address it. The reason I say that is because it is challenging to write the language in such a way that it allows legitimate citizenship when somebody is legitimately born in America and still exclude birthplace tourism and such. While that might seem like an easy thing at first it would be very easy to abuse the language. So amendments that allowed for congressional laws to be applied may make more sense. Very easier to fine tune and change if it turns that they are now out of date or need to be corrected. You have to have a little more flexibility to change with the times and that would be a better way to handle it

This is obviously a tragic accident. When you take a look at all of the factors with flying into and out of a busy airport it's amazing a testimony to the technology into the people involved that there aren't more accidents. But no matter what you do someone somewhere is going to make a mistake at some point. I'm sure we will know more later but that appears to be what happened here. What we can focus on right now is that there are a number of people who have unfortunately died and this is going to have an impact on their families and to a degree their nation and we could take in a moment to acknowledge that and quietly hope that at some point they can find peace and move on with their lives. Sometimes bad things happen to good people and there really isn't about blame as much as it is about recognizing that our world is not perfectly safe nor was it intended to be, but That is the price of being alive. We just have to learn to cope effectively with it -

You don't have to lean into it though brother. You still have a choice of having a moment to reflect on the tragedy before you start posting this crap. You are doing what you are claiming trump is doing. It's okay to take a moment before we go there. Just a thought for next time -
Columbia turns back deportation flights
CdnFox replied to Aristides's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
I did, but you've got this weird mental glitch where you seem to mentally added out anything that is presented to you that disproves you. You made a mistake. You believed that the Diplomatic actions had taken place before the flight and you were wrong. Oh well! That's not an incredibly hard mistake to make. Nobody would have thought less of you for making that kind of an error. But you went on and now you've had your face rubbed in your own mistake. Your own sources timelines and quoted statements from the Columbian government completely discredit your position. And now you're having a little meltdown and pretending that the evidence that has been presented to you that you yourself brought forward doesn't exist. Kid. Pull yourself together. We're wrong, everyone can see it, it's not a big deal to be wrong once in a blue moon, america made a mistake but it's a pretty minor mistake and again you can see how it would happen and hopefully next time they will know better. And it all got sorted out in the end so no big deal Now go have a cup of hot chocolate and a cookie and settle the F down -
Trump lies to the face of the American people
CdnFox replied to godzilla's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
Yeah. Four more years of "Trump secretly colluded with Russian space aliens to sell the panama canal to hilter while admitting having raped mary poppins and "toto" from The Wizard of Oz according to super secret top sources so close to the president that they can tell what change he has in his pockets yet who can't be named but trust us". That sound about right? LOL And I see it elsewhere too. The left has not learned its lesson yet. These bizarre over the top criticisms completely cover and overwrite any actual legitimate criticisms of trump and his decisions. I mean of course there's going to be many decisions he makes were a reasonable person can say oh that was a mistake or I feel that policy was bad for this reason or that reason or this had an unattended consequence that is negative or the like. Every president everywhere is open to criticism and makes mistakes and it's fine to disagree with policy. But instead of legitimate upfront intelligent criticisms of actual policyOr real discussions about legitimate failings they choose to get morally outraged over whether or not gaza has enough condoms or something. Like I said to one of them the other day, 'isn't it a bit early to be working so hard to lose the next election?" -

Whoops you're right, i was quoting blackdog. He said "myocarditis post vaxx has long been known to be a risk " Mistook him for Eyeball. Sometimes you lefties all kind of blur to me What?!? What the hell is that, that's not even what we were talking about, that was something completely different. I was referencing the statement that this medical situation was already acknowledged, my only error was attributing it to Eyeball instead of Black dog ROFLMAO!!! OH MY GOD YOU QUOTED THE WRONG THING ENTIRELY LOLOLOL!!!!! Holy shit kid, even when you're right you somehow find a way to be wrong LOL! That's Classic Moonbox right there!

Columbia turns back deportation flights
CdnFox replied to Aristides's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
According to the story basically what happened is that prior to trump's election deportees were put on commercial flights and sent back. Trump for whatever reason is using military flights (volume i assume), and for some reason a bunch of deportees going to another country were handcuffed and treated like prisoners and the like, and columbia heard about this, Then the us puts a bunch of deportees on a military transport, files a flight plan and the appropriate documents for it and heads to columbia The president of columbia finds out they're sending a bunch of columbians on a military flight, thinks they'll be treated badly as well, says "oh HELL no, you're not treating our people like that" and cancels their clearance and bans us military flights in general and demands they be sent as they always have been by commercial flight and treated with respect. Trump transforms into MegaTrump, threatens to destroy Columbia and Tokyo, Columbia's president says "bring it biatch" and then their respective political aides get ahold of them both and settle things down. The US promises in writing that even with military flights for transport the people will not be handcuffed or mistreated in any way and will be well cared for, columbia backs down and agrees to allow this and a new protocol is put in place so that there's no future confusion. All i was saying is that if the US had talked to columbia before hand about their new policy and new deportee protocols then this confusion could have been cleared up before the flight ever took off and all the kafuffle could have been avoided -
Columbia turns back deportation flights
CdnFox replied to Aristides's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
I literally did. And i've commented on it a dozen times, the gov't did not know or authorize the transport of deportees in this fashion and it was against previous protocols. Says so right in the story you posted. At this point you're just embarrassing yourself. You made a statement, the statement turned out to be wrong, your pride or delusions won't let you admit it and now you're just demanding i repost the same thing over and over again in the hopes it won't be true if you just ask one more time. They didn't reach out before the flight to clear this with the Columbians and that lead to the confusion and the incident. It's not like that's a huge deal or evil or something, it's an error but it got sorted. But you're losing your shit and your dignity over trying to pretend that's not what happened. -
Trump lies to the face of the American people
CdnFox replied to godzilla's topic in Federal Politics in the United States
And yet even knowing this, everyone thought he was a better choice than the democrats to run the country That says more about the left than it says about trump -
I was quoting you. So I guess what you're really saying is you can't believe YOUR own shit LOLOLOL It's always fun watching you have these little meltdowns where you realize you're wrong and start lashing out without thinking Yep, as we just seen I'm right You say something stupid, you get it pointed out, you get angry and then you start making stupid posts

The bigger they are... There's nothing wrong with our borders. If people are crossing into America then there's a problem with their borders. If they want to talk about coordinating efforts to maximize results and minimize crossings either way then fine. But it is not canada's job to police the us border for people going into the US. There are some legitimate concerns about our immigration policies and that's great, we're always willing to sit down and have a discussion about that and work something out. While we're at it lets talk about all those guns coming across our borders. But yeah if he threatens us then we fight on principle because if you don't then they will come back and threaten us every single time they want something. That is how you deal with a bully. That is the only way you deal with a bully. there is no other way, if they want to negotiate or have concerns you deal with them in good faith and resolve their concerns. But if they want to bully you then you suck it up and fight back. E We are not their biatch, or at least we don't need to be. As to 'why is that', it's because liberal losers kept electing a completely incompetent buffoon whos' also a tremendous **** because he's got nice hair and cool socks. So now, we're going to be stuck with a war we didn't want which we COULD have avoided with actual leadership over the least decade. Harper had us on that track, trudeau undid all most all of it. IS that what you would have said to ukraine when russia invaded? What it will cost will be high. And that sucks. But that's the price you pay for bad decisions at the voting booth. What we will gain is a fair trade agreement that will help the country recover from the cost of that war and build strong into the future, AND we'll probably open the eyes of some of the liberal supporters as to why we NEED more pipelines, we NEED to have other markets than the us and it's time to stop getting in the way and open the doors. And we will send a message to future us presidents .... yeah you can hurt us but we can hurt you too, so you better think very carefully about whether you want to go to war again. Which is pretty much the lesson we taught them in 1812. At least this time we won't have to burn down their white house
