Sigh. That event happened on April 9, 1948, Isreal was officially born within a month of that and had been in place for ages. Nobody thought israel as a nation was "based" on an event that happened right as it was officially being recognized. That's stupid. Once again you lie about what was said. He was concerned about a group of nutbars and what would happen if they came to power. But they didn't. And AFTER israel was created and it's first gov't installed, he said that he thought they'd do just fine and israel could have a propserous future. So you're just lying your ass off once again to justify your support of the murder of children and women. No you can't. And his prediction didn't come true, the party he was concerned about didn't take over and after israel was formed he predicted prosperity and peace. You're such a liar.

Soooo,,,,, voting does no good at all in your opinion so therefore MOAR voting is somehow effective. You're a twat And direct democracy is generally speaking a bad idea. Direct democracy is two wolves and a sheep voting on what's for dinner. Even if you think at first that your friends will benefit more than anyone else, in the long run someone will abuse it and the worm turns and suddenly the very people you want to support will suffer. Imagine a major terrorist attack in canada by a group associated with palestine followed by a direct vote on whether we should bad all palestinians from canada and financially support any war israel wants to wage against them. You'd be screaming about how unfair the system is. Considering our gov't has the power to set aside charter rights if it feels there's public support for it, the potential for harm is through the roof. Well i vote you can't have it. Sorry, tie goes to status quo so.. you lose. Enjoying it so far? I have never done that at all. Ever I said harper made some changes and Trudeau got caught with those changes. You claimed harper SHOULD have fixed all this and I pointed out to you that it is not possible for a government to pass a law that another government can't undo and most of harpers fixes were undone by Trudeau. Sorry kid, you can't blame Harper for Trudeau's crimes. If you don't like the corruption in the crimes you shouldn't have kept voting for him -
All that is true. However, there are two kinds of people reading that right now. The first is those of us who already figured all of that out and are cpc supporters, and the second is a group who managed to convince themselves that 'part time high school drama teacher" was perfectly good qualifications to run a country and are obviously prepared to lie to themselves in whatever amount necessary to believe their great leader of the day is the most qualified I' mean, how stupid do you have to be to claim that 25 years experience doing a job means you're LESS qualified than a guy who's never done it before in his life, like Carney? I think one of PP's mistakes tho was focusing on himself as the only brand. He should have been showcasing the talent around him more and pointing out it's more of a team effort. He has several business people, military and other people in his team available for his caucus, he made it all about him and that was probably a bit of a mistake Chretien would switch back and forth with his 'team' message. Don't like me? Well look at my team, you gotta like them! Don't like the team? no worries i'm going to be in charge'. It was very effective

sorry kiddo. Your horse shit came pre-mangled, I just straightened it out for people to see Nope. But I have to say that's one of the most intelligent arguments I've ever seen you make on this forum, it comes as close as you ever get to logic and facts Usually due to Hamas or a similar group If a mass and their Palestinians laid down their arms tomorrow and sued for peace within a short. Of time they would have prosperity and their own governance and all the violence would come to an end. If the Israelis laid down their arms tomorrow we'd have a second holocaust. These people are not the same

The RCMP said that they asked the gov't and they weren't sure, that apperently it's not a crime when it's a liberal prime minister. Not even kidding, posted all those stories for you before. A PM can accept bribes according to the cops So nope, not a crime And then you voted for him again anyway so with a new mandate nobody could really say anything -

It should not. We have a representational democracy and not a democracy for a reason. You don't even support voting, now you're pitching direct democracy??? -

After calling them chuds and behaving in an insulting manner. And this has been pointed out to you many times with specific examples Oh look, he blames his lack of ability to reply on someone allegedly being on ignore, someone that he's actually speaking to right now Haven't seen that before -
Sadly, this is probably the correct answer. Every month Canadians are getting less impressed with Carney and his failure to deliver. I honestly think that unless there's two more floor crossers that once the ndp gets a leader, its' going to be go time and it'll be a late spring early fall election.

MAJOR Snub: CANADA EXCLUDED FROM UKRAINE SUMMIT
CdnFox replied to CdnFox's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
Many of your posts insinuate that. Are you saying you don't like him? -
Sometimes I just skim it I've made no secret of the fact that a lot of the time I post on the fly when I have a few seconds And I tend to use a lot of voice dictation. That's how I pump out posts fairly quickly. I often go back when I have more time and edit any errors. But most people are big boys with big boy pants on who can overlook a few errors and they know what I mean so that's what matters. As I frequently overlook other people's small mistakes as well. But it's hilarious that you have no actual argument and the only thing you can whine about is I don't take time to proofread every post to you on every occasion 😆😆😆😆 Like, that's all you've got and you're clinging to it desperately I hate to break it to you, but so far you just never been worth my time to invest the extra effort If you're finding it emotionally crippling then let me know and I'll send a note home to your mother authorizing an additional cookie and a nap for you LOL!

i accept your admission of defeat This is clear that half of the corporate Propaganda will go one way and the other half will go the other way. Fox news is offset by CNN and nBC. But the primary issue is but nobody will come to you and demand that you pay for fox news or come to me and demand that I pay for CNN Are you saying you're ok with me buying machine guns? Because i'd like to talk further about that LOLOL Defense of the realm is a primary duty of a sovereign nation. Propaganda is not. And while the use of the military is a political situation and can be left or right the military itself should not be. Should know tied to turn the military into a leftist project and now nobody wants to serve. Turns out that tampons in the boys bathrooms aren't motivation for people to put their lives on the line. You want me to look up words for you now? You should really learn to look up the words you don't understand yourself -

It absolutely is not. It's not our job even a little bit Our job is to decide who will do the job. We also have a say in what they're going to do indirectly. We absolutely do not tell them how to do their job That's not for the people of Canada to decide. Politicians make those decisions. The people of Canada will decide whether or not the politicians are good at their job and whether or not they want them to be replaced A process that you claim is pointless. And there's nothing left-wing or right wing about peacekeeping or and being involved in a conflict. The decisions there are what is in the best interest of Canada. The rest is just more of you usual bullshit that has absolutely nothing to do with the topic at hand. Different governments may have different priorities and different policies. That is perfectly natural. People will select the politicians that are making the decisions. That is what a representational democracy is. But that in no way shape or form makes it fair for the government to turn around and spend my taxpayers dollars directly attacking their competition through state-run media which is what is happening currently -
I don't recall feeling this way before, but I feel like there's a strange sense that we're not actually going into a new year, we're starting the second half of 2025 somehow. It feels like the second half of a season of a TV show instead of a new season if you know what I mean. Like we didn't resolve anything and everything still up in the air and we needed another 12 episodes to put it all to bed before the season was over We started the year with questions about whether or not there would be changes in political leadership and whether there would be an election and so on and so forth and we're kind of still answering that. If there's no additional floor crossings then they will probably be another spring election after the NDP get their leader. Cardi's popularity is falling, will this leave opportunity or won't it, there's a lot of similarity between how things feel right now and the sort of questions we were asking at the beginning of 2025 as if those questions really haven't been answered. The beginning of 2025 we saw trump and trade war and tariffs and all that was supposed to be resolved by now but basically we're back to where we started with round two coming up with the CUSMA negotiations. We haven't resolved our economic issues, we're still facing the same challenges and it's kind of going back and forth like we were supposed to have this resolved but the same inflation and cost of living issues are ongoing, The government has promised to get all these projects off the ground it was all things but it's all still up in the air. Even the memorandum of understanding is contingent on a number of events taking place between now and April and hasn't really been put to bed and the pipeline issue was still as up in the air as it was when carney got elected It just feels like 2025 didn't resolve anything and we need a second season to put everything to bed so that we can move on. But maybe it's just me

CdnFox replied to WestCanMan's topic in Federal Politics in Canada
This is complete nonsense. State funded media has advantages that corporate media simply cannot. So you don't get a balance, what you get is a lopsided view. Also the CBC claims to be a government-funded organization and claims that this gives it more legitimacy, which uneducated people will believe. It's assumed that something that is funded by the government must be impartial and highly professional and that's absolutely not the case If you want an honest system that portrays both sides of the story then you get rid of government funded media entirely and you let the free market do its job. Then you get the CNN's and the fox news and people can listen to both and make a decision But there is no universe where I should have to pay my money to an organization to say lies and run propaganda for a political party i disagree with. -

Then why should i pay for it? Funded by taxpayers absolutely means 'gov't media'. At the end of the day a media outlet is always responsible to the people who pay the bills and if it's a liberal gov't paying the bills that's who they're loyal to. So stop the gov't funding, and if the people want it they'll pay for it. -
